  1. I wish I could up-vote this 1000 times!! Yes!! Mr. GreenWave (who, honestly, is basically numb now with all of my ID/Murder TV watching) was so angry that even he was shouting at the TV when they played the audio of the SWAT guy saying that they forgot their FREAKING VESTS!!! They are SWAT FFS!!! How incredibly sad was the video footage of Jennifer at the bank? I can't imagine what that bank manager felt when she tried to save them, and it was totally screwed up by the police who didn't understand what was going on, showed up at the bank, then went to the house, but somehow thought that Jennifer was trying to bilk the bank account out of money, so they didn't really take it seriously?!? Then the police spokesman misled the public by making up a timeline. FOR SHAME! My God, I don't know how they can sleep at night knowing that everything that evil went down in that 30 minutes. Those poor girls. Honestly, I was surprised they didn't just shoot him because they thought he was one of the perps.
  2. Agree!! Also, I loved their answers to the question about whether they thought he was watching the episode: "oh, yes," and "enjoy!" HA HA!! Go Mike and Leah!!
  3. Just echoing the sentiments on the absolute stupidity on the "Dr. didn't know about the twins" storyline. I remember with my pregnancies, every time I was in the doctor's office, they took blood to measure some sort of whatever levels (like, at X weeks they should be in this range, and at XX weeks, in this range) - as you can tell, I really paid attention to what they were monitoring! But, I do remember specifically my Dr. saying that, if it were twins or other multiples, the levels in my blood work would be XXX, so even if they couldn't tell with the Doppler for the heartbeats, the blood tests should have showed twins. And yes, no fetal heart rate monitor on? No way for a high risk would there be no strap around her stomach monitoring contractions and heart rates of the twins.
  4. HA! I did as well - so very Liam Neeson of him. But weird, weird, weird. Also, a very dumb baddie. Why would an international arms dealer show up at a hospital in DC with a gunshot wound?!? Didn't some guy a couple of episodes ago go to a vet to get sewn up? I mean, geeeeeeeeeez!!!
  5. I pretty much loved the last 5 minutes with Pride and Gregorio (also loved the DFS guy's smack down of Pride as well). And, some pretty good self-awareness in his conversation with Loretta. Of course, I was a bit confused when the team were all challenging him so obviously (nice subtle eye rolls there Percy)...considering they are usually like: Fuck HQ! Fuck protocol! Pride is our hero! Pride is the only person in the world that cares about New Orleans! And here they were all reacting the opposite of how they've reacted in Every.Other.Episode of NCIS: NOLA. Maybe that was the point...
  6. I cannot believe I didn't know about LRH's own son going on TV in 1982 (!!!) to discuss how his dad was a total fraud. Over 30 years ago! And people are still joining this cult!!!
  7. I was so confused about this. She falls and then every shot of her in the apartment was her writhing around the floor watching Tom fight with blurry eyesight - from what exactly? When they finally showed a close up of her head, it looked like someone bashed her head in with a rock or something, not a gun (I thought it may have been a pistol whip). That was just really shitty writing (directing??)
  8. Agreed. I have to admit - I actually FF through most of it because.... of this. I was Team Mr. Kaplan all the way, and I just cannot with Red.
  9. I dunno. I felt like I was watching the Romeo and Juliet version of NCIS. I get being in love, but basically risking your entire team because of Danny's less-than-a-year GF? Couldn't get into it. I did enjoy LaSalle taking lead as well. His character adapts well to being in charge.
  10. That probably would have been the only saving grace of this terrible episode. And, oh goodie. Next week is Pride going all rogue again. Yawn.
  11. YES! So many missed opportunities to make this a really good episode, but this is what we got? Hearsay and Fornell as corrupt agent??! FORNELL?!? It's not as though this is an original storyline, but geez. And, they had to have both Duckie and Palmer lead the investigation awry with the conclusion that the murderer had to be left handed? Bring Duckie back for THAT?!! Woosh. Sorry for all the exclamation points.... Also, I've tried to give Jack a chance...but I just do not like her character. She makes no sense in the group. And, I'm really getting tired of the "team" acting like a bunch of kids around her (oh, I hope she's not profiling meeeee!). And, yeah, the "self pedicure" thing was completely inappropriate to say to a coworker.
  12. I agree. She managed to pull off some pretty incredible things: hunting down clandestine agents, scrubbing digital footprints, luring men to their deaths, etc., but in the end she was willing to throw it all away on the word of some random NCIS agent who assured her that he would...what? Go to the press and let them know how her Awesome Dad (as opposed to La Salle's Sucky Dad) really died? WHAT? If she's so dang smart, what a dumb thing to fall for.
  13. I have the same feeling about Chris Hansen. I just cannot make it through his show. Aaaand the narrator on Deadly Women. Can't do that either.
  14. Me too. The line that got me was when his friend (actual friend) said that he could only imagine Buddy looking at them and thinking, "what is going on?" because he was so innocent and would not have understood why it was happening to him. Monsters do indeed live amongst us. And the mob mentality is so frightening (every episode of "Murder Among Friends" reminds me of this fact). Last night's Paula Zahn episode gave me chills up my spine. He just chose the house randomly and the door was unlocked. Good God.
  15. I was totally perplexed by this subplot. What was the point? Perhaps I'm just not seeing it yet, but it felt just so damn random. And Red and Dembe along for the ride because...I guess they've been bored? Although I almost threw up a little bit with Red's speech to Harold on how he would feel guilty or something about drugging up the crack dealer...right after Harold shot up the crack den and killed a few folks. Felt guilty indeed. And apparently Tom is smart enough to figure out that GF is being followed...but forgets that fact when he goes to meet with her in the park after downloading info off Pete's computer?? Apparently this follower dude is a whole lot smarter than every person in BL: Redemption since I always expected someone to figure out that Tom and his dad were meeting on the all hidden like in every episode but somehow almost never got caught... And, come on! Nik happens to go to THE ONE SKETCHIEST DUDE in all the world to help him identify the bones? The guy who now has some unknown past? The guy that is going to end up being tied to some Big Bad that they could not have foreseen?? I mean, geez. The season finale when all is revealed better be good (I'm still hating on the big Berlin reveal. Dumb, so dumb).
  16. LOL! This was so dumb! Other things I found dumb: 1. Of course La Salle follows the murderess alone into a trap despite protestations from his commanding officer. Of course. 2. Of course the lingering shot after murderess is naked getting out of shower is of Gregorio. 3. Three super agents DIE because they cannot give up classified information, because, you know, they take an oath to protect the secrets of the USG and all and 100s of others in Operation Chaos may die (Acceptable Loss), but somehow Pride is able to convince Duncan to do so because a moron of an NCIS agent's life is in danger because said moron decided to follow murderess into a trap (see one, above) 4. La Salle not being required to go to the hospital after dying. Look, I'm all for dedication to your job, but I'm pretty sure you would want to be checked out and let back on duty. 5. Random LaSalle family angst: super businessman dad wants oldest son to take over the company but oldest son chooses the life of law enforcement because IT MATTERS! Never seen that plotline before... Only thing I did like: Percy's reaction when finding La Salle with the drug overdose. Now that was good.
  17. I'm glad that they make cases with children top priorities. This last one with the little boy was good - and a completely surprise haunting (IMO, at least!). Agreed!!! It is really good. Now, granted, I'm speculating, but I think they do that because that way they can get documented proof of the hauntings. I don't like that stick-figure camera thing - too creepy for me.
  18. I got this vibe too. It wasn't like Sebastian in NOLA stating that he wanted to become a field agent because he wanted to get in on the action along with the other agents. It was to protect Navabi, which is how Aram presented it to Harold in that scene. Completely annoying and totally unnecessary plot point. Additionally, I'm now disappointed that they've given Red the upper hand over Tom already. We still don't know why experimenting-doctor guy would ghost over the DNA search and Nik's murder (and if he is the one that did it and took the bones). I would have liked the storyline to continue a bit more before Red finding out that the person Nik was calling on a regular basis was Tom.
  19. Just when you think you can't be more horrified with this group: quota pressures on "Reges" or else they have to do hard labor (gives me a different take on them standing outside those CO$ centers hoping someone comes in for a "free" personality test). And then $450 million just sitting there in pre-paid accounts at only ONE location of CO$. DISGUSTING. When Leah was freaking about people's mortgages, or giving up tuition, or nothing to eat because they gave all of these pre-payments (I can't remember the CO$ term), I was equally disgusted. They have to be successful getting their exemption removed. Head of the "church" called COB and all they do is sell, sell, sell. IT IS A FREAKING CORPORATION! No religious exemption!!!!
  20. A son that appeared scared sh*tless around his creepy uncle at that.
  21. Totally agree. Having the sister or lawyer as the accomplice would have been more interesting. How many times do we really need to see The Completely Mistaken Mental Health Professional Who Sets a Pyscho Killer Free Despite Protestations from Law Enforcement and the Overzealous Naïve Lawyer Who Will Save her Obviously Guilty Client? I hate when shows then require the storyline to have the leads prove that the others ARE WRONG! They still don't believe, then at the last minute, the killer/etc. does something or whatever that proves leads were right ALL ALONG!!! Blech. Shoot, I felt like this was based on 800 old episodes of Law & Order. They didn't even touch on the fact that both sisters of the unsubs thought their brothers were not the murderers, and it appears that the accomplice's first victim was the girlfriend/fiancée of his sister. That could have been interesting to explore. Instead, we get idiot doctor and lawyer to eat up screen time. Although - I have to say that Jamie Kennedy knocked it out again as Floyd - the creepiest creeper who creeped. And they had her in the police station when they brought Floyd in with all of the blinds open on the 1000 windows in the room she was being interviewed in - so stupid. I too noticed this.... :-)
  22. I can totally see this - but I'm not sure I like the Acting Mayor as "unofficial" member of the NCIS team (although her asking Loretta to be on her election campaign now makes more sense).
  23. ICE BULLETS!!! Ok, some points for originality, but I almost fell asleep here this episode was SO BORING (I'm usually awake throughout because I am so annoyed at the show and try to mentally rank those annoyances). What the heck with former Deputy Director now Special Agent? Oh my God how stupid. Dude would be riding a desk IRL. Also, who does Loretta think she is acting like that toward the temp-Mayor? Wow, I would never have apologized after Loretta stormed up and tried to tell me how to do my job as the mayor about to go on TV. Although perhaps New Orleans is the only place in which the mayor would have ample time at night to go down to the local watering hole in the Quarter and have a beer. Oookkkaaayyyy. On a shallow note, I really liked Sebastian's apartment. Props to the props department.
  24. I can't believe they left out this entire discussion (esp since it is public knowledge) - that seems to be a huge factor in her death. And this was misleading in the show as well. I mean, I totally get they sometimes can't boil things down to one hour easily, but they made it seem like she just hopped on a plane by herself and wandered about LA until meeting Dylan who told her about the Cecil. I'm so annoyed.
  25. the Cecil Hotel is like a 15 story building, I'm sure she would have jumped if she was really suicidal, not climb in a water tank naked and drown (with her clothes in the tank with her). And, yes, the missing phone. Wouldn't that have been in the hotel or with her if she did this on her own? How do you explain that Tumblr posting if not the sick and macabre mind of the killer? OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG yes - I would be scarred thinking I brushed my teeth, took a shower in corpse water. SO NASTY. Forgot to add about the Dateline: Homicide (or was it 20/20: Homicide??) with Tim Miller of Texas Equu Search. I remember hearing about the group with the Natalee Halloway and Caylee Anthony searches, but had no idea about his story. Wow that was really sad. Plus, I hope he gets a lot of donations since they said that his group is always on the brink of going bankrupt.
