  1. Completely agree. I'd say the last time an episode really stuck with me was North Mammon. I did not see the twist coming and it stayed with me (esp Gideon's reaction to seeing the girls walking down the street) for a long time. And that was in Season 2. And, for the last few seasons, I can't help but do something else while "watching" CM (usually something equally riveting...like washing dishes).
  2. So much this. I'm not saying that I needed Spuffy levels of passion (icky or otherwise), but if she hadn't followed him out of the cabin, there would have been no kiss, no "goodbye," no whatever. There was fantastic chemistry when they were foes, so why didn't the writers tap into that now? Like much of their storyline, that scene was so boring.
  3. I'm hoping there is more behind the MacLeish story than his unit was set up, they killed a bunch of friendlies, and then they came back to the US and no one cared about their sacrifice as the reason for blowing up most of the government. When Hannah was retelling the story to Kirkman, I kept expecting her to say, "but, there has to be more than that behind why he agreed to do this." Pretty flimsy otherwise IMO.
  4. This really came out of left field for me - so Luke threatened Shaw with revealing that he shot the informant through the stomach b/c she was pregnant with Shaw's baby?? WHAT?!??! And, like what was Luke going to do with that info? Tell a DA? Tell Shaw's wife? That was so weird.
  5. And it doesn't help that the guy who plays Dreyfuss looks like a deranged Neil Patrick Harris, so every time I see him I think: Scary Barney! Even the big "I'm a tech billionaire, idiots!" reveal was awkward. And the "Mentor to Molly" reveal came off awkward. Agree that everything about him is awkward (although, I did enjoy his, "didn't see that coming" when Crane stepped in front of Diana to take the bullet). I would absolutely watch this.
  6. This episode was ok, but I was wondering two things: (1) what was Chelsea doing before going to Pride since she said she had to "get back into uniform" (and, can you do that? Just put on a uniform and have access to a base?), and (2) Dorsey said that Cabral had screwed up his order, so what was the point of taking over the school? What did Cabral do wrong?
  7. The COTW did have potential with the angle of the agony of turning in your child when they've committed crimes (especially since I'm a fan of Investigation Discovery and just watched the episode in which parents turned in their arsonist son and their story was heart-wrenching). But, of course, they could not strike the right balance between the COTW and the Reid Arc. For goodness sake - just show Reid!!! As a side note, Mr. Green Wave walked in at the moment where Garcia is asked to "search for broken bones injuries in the last five years," said, "are you F$%^ing kidding me," and then walked out. Indeed.
  8. Don't forget the "headaches of mysterious origin" - I think the only arc I liked was the Tobias Hankel, and I think that was because that was the SOLE storyline instead of plugging the A plot + B plot in one episode. I agree with you all - I would much rather deep-dive into the Reid storyline because that is what is gripping me (although, I do admit to a ginormous eye roll when they veered into cliché land with the a-hole guard) - not the other garbage. Seriously, why did new guy sit down and chat with the UnSub at the bar? What purpose did that serve? They already knew it was him, so they didn't need to try to get him to admit his hatred of the pretty people in the bar. LOL at this! That's because Emily was wearing a turtle neck and blazer - and, with Paget's thick bangs, I could only see a tiny Paget face.
  9. Completely agree - I think that having Molly understand the responsibilities of being a Witness, with an Evil Doer of the Week, would have been sufficient to get me hooked onto this season, but I just can't with Dreyfuss.
  10. I can definitely see this happening. Although, I'm now imagining how that death scene will play out (for those of you that has seen the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, I'm sort of thinking Paul Reuben's 10 minute hilariously drawn-out death scene) and I'm thinking it will be...well, as good as BT can be.
  11. I bet it's Lizzie's Not!Dead mother! Ok, that may be a stretch, but the scope was narrowed a bit when they insisted it had to be someone who had intimate knowledge about Red's medical history (and access to the whiskey or at least planted it). If not Dembe (which, I agree, not him), then who would also have that knowledge?
  12. I thought it started off rough with Gregorio's mad profiling skillz in the beginning ("perp wanted her to be found" or whatever nonsense she said as they are staring at the body strung up on display), but Loretta saved the rest of the show for me (esp after last week's disaster). She should be the new lead!!! I second this - I like how he and Loretta interact in the lab. When Sebastian is out in the field with the agents, it doesn't seem natural.
  13. Confused about this as well - they felt the need to anvil how amazing and nice the nurse is, but I'm pretty sure you can't hire an in-home nurse for 24 hours a day (although this statement is based upon personal experience, in which agencies would only hire out in-home nurses for shifts of 8 hours each day), so they would need at least two other nurses to care for her.
  14. And obsessively running facial recognition software - we haven't seen that on NCIS before...ugh. Agree - terrible idea. Plus, after watching the NOLA episode (and, judging from the lack of comments on the other thread, I might be the only one who did), they were practically two separate episodes anyway.
  15. I think I'm reading that you wanted Malcolm to be the next witness? Now THAT would have been interesting - a witness team so opposite of Ichabbie - perhaps it would have actually created some interesting conflict ("I hate you, but we need you" or whatnot).
  16. I almost hoped they would have done something drastic like actually have him die and introduce a new storyline because I don't really care if this guy is immortal. As ganesh said above, it would be one thing if he was like, "I want to become immortal so I can kill everyone who looks at me sideways" or whatever, but he just wants to get out of his deal. Good luck sir, I say!
  17. Ha ha! Thank you for explaining...I totally missed that! :-) Mr. GreenWave and I commented on this as well - although I don't know if the reason was for plot (Eve turning back into Juliette) or bad acting (whoops, forgot to keep acting like Eve).
  18. I so totally agree with this!! That scene was so bizarre. Dad's weirdly serious statement like, "yes, daughter, I too wanted to flee from my legacy of being a part of Rittenhouse, but, alas, I could not." So why would he have wanted to flee? Unlike Lucy who did not grow up in it (consciously, anyway), wouldn't the news that you are part of the most powerful group in all of the known universe seem super cool at first (besides Lindy's task from his dad about being a Nazi sympathizer in the future)? I'm not sure what family elders tell their offspring when they are "ready" to know they are part of Rittenhouse, but that scene was just so over-the-top. Also agree about the mom when Lucy told the story about following in mom's footsteps vs. indie college position. Something foreshadowing about that story. And, as has been stated here earlier, why can't she just choose to write nothing in it??
  19. That's a really good point - and, yes, I do remember them having their specialties. Especially with the large group they have now on this team, it would make much more sense for them to choose a small group to go on each case. I mean, I am on a team at work, and we do not go to every meeting together or every work event together - it is always a smaller sub-set.
  20. Agree completely. Also, did they mention against what database she ran the recognition software? It didn't look like DMV photos, so I'm thinking: how on Earth did they bring up those pictures so fast? Also, once they had identified the first guy, why didn't Garcia just look up the marriage license? Ha ha!! I did the same thing - almost rolled my eyes out of my head during the scene in the SUV where they get the unsub's background. I was like, oh yeah: parents divorce + working for dad at butcher's shop def = serial murder by dismembering. One of them was all: totally makes sense now. Ooookaaaay. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I pretty much think this is my issue with all of Emily's scenes post new role. It's like Paget playing Emily playing Hotch.
  21. You know, I'm not sure (admittedly, I'm not sure what "single feed" means!!). Like last night, watched Lt. Joe, Ice Cold Killers, and then the Detectives Club, and after Detectives Club aired, the next show was the same Lt. Joe episode.
  22. They did!! Although, I can't remember - did they say the same DNA was on both girls or different on each? And they said that Taylor was shot in the hip, but that there was no bullet hole in her shorts where the bullet would have entered (the unlikely scenario as described by the profiler was that the police argued that the bullet somehow went under the shorts), also indicating assault (not a straight up drive-by). Of course, since he pleaded guilty with no trial, there was no evidence to be presented against him to evaluate.
  23. Agree 1000%. The hour went like this for me: main case = play games on phone; Reid family scenes: watch show. Sink holes? That was just terrible.
