I came here to say just this. I think out of the 3 episodes we may have gotten about a 30-45 mins of good story. Diego was barely in any of the episodes. First 15 mins started strong with the theft of the Tie Fighter, but went down hill fast. The whole Lord of the Flies kids (one reminded me of Russell Sewell) was pointless as all get out, and mix that in with 3 episodes of wedding BS (step over a stick, now circle each other, now the vows, and don't forget the first dance, capped by the disco ball and the many scenes of Mon just spinning in a circle). The imp/girlfriend dysfunctional dinner date with mom (whom we really didn't need to see again). The rapey imp office (who reminded me of Michael Sheen). Not to mention the whole illegal alien story, which, we are in space, half the occupants are actual aliens, and why would the Imps care, the work was getting done. Unless they wanted to imprison them all like season one for no reason so the Empire could have slave labor. So yea so far disappointed.

My understanding is that while he was writing the script for Superman, his family adopted a dog, and seeing how the dog was, tearing up his house when they first brought him home, and then finally coming around and being less destructive, decided to add Kypto to the story.

Which is my only fear for the movie. Too many characters to introduce, so how much are we really getting on Clark/Superman? Max Lord, Metamorpho, Lex Luthor, Hawkgirl, Kara Zor-El, Mr Terrific, Guy Gardner, the Kents. It just seems so overloaded.

S01.E05: Warhammer 40,000: And They Shall Know No Fear

I am finding the lighting on some of these to be really dark. First was the D&D one, and now this one where it was hard to see what was on the screen. -
Ouch the fallout between Vi and Caitlin wasn't good, especially with Vi telling Cait she was turning into Jinx.😪

This was a good episode if only for the Jinx and Sevika teaming up. I liked the new arm Jinx made for her and the fight with Smeech was pretty good. Jinx and the little kids excitement and side eyes to each other at all the different variations the slot machine runes on the new arm were doing, as well as Sevika's WTF look on her face were great.

S03.E12: Souls in Darkness

Yes (aware of Ashley's constantly being gone from the table for Blindspot) and during the Briarwood arc she went through the whole crisis of faith. It was done well for the show, and she got her big damn hero moment when she showed up in Whitestone to slay the newly risen dead. I am referring to her trying to get the armor to work. When she tosses aside her medallion of the Everlight because "I don't need her, the power was inside ME the whole time (my blood)" -

The other odd thing is, during the game it was clear that Kash followed, was a cleric of a different god (his ex wife to be exact), but don't know if it was established on screen. I thought in Exandria that the prime gods took care of their own followers, so when you saw the Raven Queen in that shot I thought, gee Kash's ex is gonna be mad the Raven Queen is taking her follower. -

This season didn't wow me like the prior 2 did, and I think it's because they changed a lot from table to screen, or I felt they did. My memory of the later half of campaign 1 is iffy. I don't think we needed the back story of Allura and Kima, as well tossing those 2 into the White Dragon fight, but since they removed Raishan from helping during that battle I guess they needed to add "someone" and, frankly they are paying the voice actors already, may as well give them more to do. Also no need to throw in Zerxus from Calamity, just cause. This bothered me, especially since Kash and Zahra help them when they eventually go after the Whispered One (S4 arc). Unless that is part of my hazy memory. Other things I found questionable. J’mon Sa Ord being absent from the from the battle. The dragon eggs never hatched, yet here they did and attacked White Stone as if that place and it's people haven't suffered enough. It was Fort Daxio that was attacked by Thordak's forces. Having Ripley being killed by just Vax and Vex. It was all of them that took out Ripley and that is when Percy fell. She seemed to be "getting away" too often in the show Pike forsaking the Everlight because her blood was magical...?? I really liked the Percy/Vex romance in the game, it was always understated and subtle but appreciated. So I felt the full on sex scene was a misstep here, IMO it should have ended with Vex dragging Percy into the room and throwing him against the wall, we as an audience can construe the rest. I knew that a Bard Lament wasn't going to occur, and glad they skipped it. The long time it took them to resurrect Percy he was there for the Raishan fight. I get they felt they had to streamline some things, so this season was meh for me. -
S04.E01: The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want

I don't recall this happening in this episode. -
Wow..this one was just...Wow. Made me a bit uncomfortable to be honest, but really helps you understand Angel Dust more.

I am really enjoying this show. The animation is great (unlike the new Amazon Batman series). The characters are compelling, the stories are detailed and the songs are fantastic. I am really surprised that no one seems to commenting on this great show.

A bit of a slog to get through for me. I was never "I really need to see the next episode" so it took me bit finally finish. Everything was happening too slow, long drawn out visual shots or peoples reactions didn't hold my attention and get me asking for more. Worst character was Max. At first I was all "fist pump" when he let his knight die (cause he was an asshole) and he got the armor, I was thinking now he's gonna prove himself, but nope he was still just a big idiot. I can't bear to watch someone who consistently fails upward. I'll watch a 2nd season, but won't be eagerly anticipating it.

No but I do get Georgina Haig.

Never played the game, but I really liked the opening sequence with Goggins and his little girl, very impactful.

My thought process during this episode. Oh look Nolan got Emerson for this new show. Awesome And they gave him a dog like in Person of Interest. Double Awesome Crap they took his leg away. Fuck they killed his dog. Oh wait they gave him a new leg. Crap he has to walk with a limp like he did all of PoI. Ooooh the dog wasn't killed. Awesome. Crap the Ghoul gonna use the dog to track Emerson. Fuck Emerson just killed himself. Best line of the episode. "I'd offer you a cherry tomato, but you have hole in your neck" I was also getting Fin/Ren Force Awakens vibes for Lucy/Max when they met in the town.

Jenna Ortega is really becoming the go to actress to carry the torch in these iconic IPs, first Wednesday and now this, and I am here for it. Good to see Winona back for this as well.

I caught this trailer this week and it was just a giant NOPE for me. The look they gave Eric made me cringe as it looks like he was a reject for Jared Leto's Joker which was the worst interpretation of that character. So I am in the group that loves the original and saw no need for a remake. It's a sad time when the only ideas they come up with these days is doing remakes of movies that don't need to be remade (see Roadhouse).

I completely agree. Also, I must be in the minority in that I do not find anything appealing about Gosling as an actor, and keep scratching my head as to how he became A List leading man material.

Sony's "Spider-Verse" aka Middle Finger to Disney
Spaceman Spiff replied to AimingforYoko's topic in Movies
Kraven will tank just as badly. All these "spider verse" movies are just dumb and make no sense without Spiderman, because otherwise no one care about these characters. I'm actually surprised one movie made it over 50% -
We already knew this 2 years ago when he appeared in the Hawkeye Disney+ show.

I gave the first 2 episodes a try, and I don't think I will be continuing since I found all the acting to be utterly atrocious. Which surprised me, since I thought the lead looked like the kid from The Adam Project, who I thought was excellent in that. I found out he was and wondered why his acting has devolved so badly. Must be the director I guess. None of these kids can act. At all. The adults weren't much better. So again, is this on the director? Besides the subpar performance of the folks attached to this project, the dark scenes were too dark visually, and the editing was god awful as well. The quick cuts to black in what seemed like a scene that should be ongoing were really jarring. It almost seemed like they were cutting this with commercials in mind.

I really didn't understand why Nathan and Nora had to work for the farmers. They brought the HDD of the son, accepted a dinner and a stay for the night, so what they had to work the meal and the beds off? That didn't make any sense considering they had a duffel full of other HDD they had to get to other families. I also don't get how Luke hasn't seen NuNathan in Lakeview yet. I felt the pork cancer, the cow with teets that gave different milk/cheese and Ingrid forcing Tinsley to make her avatar look Shrekish with extra boobs was bordering on making this show a farce.

They seemed to be making Matteo extra dickish so we wouldn't mind when he got shot, at least I didn't.

He is what ruined the last episode of season 1 and the new Ant Man movie for me. I don't find him to be a good or compelling actor either.
