  1. Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini. I just want to hang out with both of them. I want to have coffee and go shopping and then back to Leah's for her salty lasagna. Natalie Portman and Leslie Mann were cool too. I never confuse Natalie with Kiera Knightly but I'm always struck by how much she and Giada de Laurentiis look alike. Now for some reason, I always want to confuse Kiera and Anne Hathaway. They're interchangeable to me.
  2. It seems to me that men are much more aggressive when it comes to searching for idols. I'm sure everyone is searching in their own way but we saw Davie, Nick and Christian getting up before dawn to search, especially when they were down in numbers. Maybe it's just human nature to only really scramble & search when your back is up against the wall? As the numbers dwindled, we saw everyone up at the crack of dawn searching for that re-hidden idol. And lo and behold, Angelina finds a clue. I just refuse to believe that TPTB are rigging the idol discoveries.
  3. BWAHAHAHAHA! And damn. But totally accurate. Her wobbling on that perch was everything. And she was more than a little insufferable whenever she found herself to be in the voting majority.
  4. I totally agree. For some reason, they seemed to love making Alison appear to be some kind of Amazon woman but I was never impressed by her. Was it really mean of me to hope she fell off of her perch into the ocean before the challenge even began? Because that's what I was doing. Seriously for this season, Kara was a poster child for strong women. She was consistently competetive in every challenge, especially that one where the teams had to keep the weight elevated over their heads. Kara also had a strong social game. I think Natalie's edit was likely exactly who she is IRL. Angelina's gender had nothing to do with how she was receieved both in the game and by the viewing audience. Honestly, this finale was Angelina gold. All those "mob boss" antics with Alison, making a fake idol, wanting theatrics at Tribal for her benefit (and expecting the others to go along with it!)---she was a bumbling, entitled, mean player with zero self-awareness and it wasn't editing that gave us that.
  5. oh, wow. Thanks. I had no idea. He was one of my early favs.
  6. Natalie is still mean and clueless. Where was Jeremy who told her off at his final tribal?
  7. So I'm no conspiracy theorist with this show as a rule but I didn't like them assigning Mike and Kara fire-making stations. I feel like they should've flipped a coin or rock-paper-scissored for the choice of which station they occupied. Kara was kicking ass at her practice fire-making--I wonder why she had so much trouble making a flame catch when it counted? My only regret at Final Tribal? Why did Davie shut down Angelina's rice-bragging so quickly? I wanted more eye-rolling, sighing and laughing at her ridiculousness. He preempted my enjoyment with that one. Shut up, Gabby. Did she really start crying as she approached her vote? Angelina---stop with the "I'm representing strong women. Yada, yada, yada." You don't represent me. And she's already pitching to be a return player. You'd think she slink away in embarassment but, nope. She's consistent, that one.
  8. What's with the constant shilling for Gold Bond? There's only so much you can rave about a lotion. I love her too! And I love that she and J Lo are besties. Both are friends in my head. Yes, what is the deal with her being so bitchy toward her "co-hosts" lately? She snaps on them for random shit, chastises them for clapping when she thinks they shouldn't---I used to tell my girls we should do a day trip to NY to attend a taping and do lunch but I've long since abandoned those plans. SHe's not fun anymore. And now y'all have me worried about the dog. Thanks a lot! LOL
  9. I can go the rest of my life without hearing "peanut butter mayonnaise" ever again. I cracked up when Jersey chef (David?) lamented about Elizabeth not being known for it's green veggies. Dude, NJ is literally The Garden State. And why do I think they'll have a future challenge using what grows in their respective gardens? I hope they all have green thumbs. Eddie. I was actually liking you and hoping that you'd loosen up some - - you seem to be wound way too tight. Then you pulled that lamb nonsense and contributed to sending my favorite home. If they were putting back spices and lemons, he damn sure should've taken 1 or 2 packages of the lamb off the bill. It was home style for goodness sake---you weren't trying to make 50 plates. I think Nini might be my new fav chef. And finally, I fully intend to add, "Not today, Devil!!!” to my repertoire of choice phrases when things are going off the rails.
  10. I was giggling as I read your rant because all I could think about was Melissa's very sincere singing of Amazing Grace: "Ammaaaaazzzing Grrrraaaaccce, How sweet the sound; That saved a wench like meeee......" You are really asking alot for her to instill an understanding and importance of communion. Baby steps. Hey, hey now! What are you saying? I just saw a big-ass bottle of blk water in the clearance bin at Ross! He's doing big things!!
  11. Yoooooo...I just watched the ep from last night. Gayle King was some kind of giddy just basking in the glow of Lenny Kravitz. And I can't say I blame her. That man oozes sexuality.
  12. Yeah, I just saw the report that it's a fracture. Which only serves to annoy me more. I know Wentz is the ultimate competitor but, damn. Sit down and heal if you aren't healthy. And Foles wasn't in playoff form for the first 2 games but he wasn't terrible.
  13. My best guess is his allegiance to the Rockstar Alliance kicked in? Other than that, I got nothing.
  14. Sigh. My dream of a Davie, Nick, Christian F3 is dashed. Alison is a freaking cockroach. How does she keep skating through every week? Oh, I know. Because she's only a threat in her own mind. Angelina is the least self aware person I've ever seen on this show. And that's saying something. Balls, balls, balls. Hee! I was highly entertained during that whole IC so I must be twelve too. Davie is just the best---playing the hell outta this game but also looking like he's having the time of his life. And I love how he completely rethought his plan once he realized that Nick wasn't lying to him. I hope they get together and compare notes next week and realize how they're still better together. Although I'm hard pressed to guess who would win if they make it to the end together. Both are really, really good at this game. I loved Nick's fake idol "discovery" and how everyone except Davie fell for it hook, line and sinker.
  15. ^^^ Right? And maybe go hire back Defillipo since Minnesota decided to cast him as a scapegoat for their offensive struggles.
  16. Exactly what I've been wondering! HT is so dry and dusty these days--nothing of the real, juicy gossip that should be easy pickings. It feels like she's gotten tentative about throwing stones these days. That Big Kev exposé last year has really done a number on her.
  17. Now Wentz isn't starting against the Rams because of his "back spasms?" I am more than a little annoyed by this announcement. I thought Wentz came back from the knee rehab too soon. He wasn't ready in September when they started him in Game 3 but everyone was so giddy about his return that they threw caution to the wind and allowed him to start. He's looked questionable all season, despite what his QB rating has been. He's been tentative, he's holding the ball too long and he clearly wasn't able to extend plays with his legs like he did before the injury. Ugh. Should've sat his ass down after the Saints debacle when we still had a real shot at winning the NFC East.
  18. I straight up did an Anthony squeal when I saw him. Why hasn't Bravo given him his own show? I binge watched 3 DVRd eps last night so here's my late-to-the-party observations: I love when they do community outreach on their vacations. They all seem like such caring, special doctors---that's a very cool thing for them to do. Hahaha @ Greg The Roach popping up when Quad & Simone were talking about her divorce. "God is trying to tell you something" indeed, Quad. And I love that you took the Sleep Number. Sleep well in it. I love Cecil & Simone. I was rooting for them to get through the rough patch and I was so happy to see them reunite. I loved the Mexican night party to announce their cohabitation. Simone, you'd better not drop that queso! And how cute were the men downstairs with the barmaids? Eugene saying that someone needed to take ownership of hiring the ladies since Cecil just got back in the home? Cracked me up. And Ayden is a snitch. Ha! Sigh. I want to hug Simone and tell her that she can't agree to move forward and keep bringing up Tammy. I know she's hurt but poor Cecil really looked ambushed when she went off on him. I'm glad Jackie kind of set her straight. Toya is exhausting. Being a diva about a closet and a wine room when you actually need space for a heating & air unit. You big dummy. And she can have several seats trying to make rules about who's coming on the trips. And I might be in the minority but I actually really like Contessa. Maybe because I'm so in awe of her accomplishments. Girl was downright ruthless bringing Toya 's BMI up at that luncheon! Whoooo, the reactions! I had to rewind that to watch Simone & Quad's faces. I hope Ayden is OK. Meningitis. That's some scary shit.
  19. This 1000 times. This loss is a bitter pill for me to swallow mainly because of the robbery that happened on the kickoff. Firstly, how does every official on the field miss the fumble?! OK. That's bad enough but after an extensive review that shows 4 GREEN JERSEYS covering the ball, they come back with , "No clear recovery?!" What the actual fuck??? Believe me, I know the Birds had their chances and Wentz and the offense played like shit for 3 quarters but I can't help but think that play was game - changing in the worst way for Philly. And Amari Cooper scored all those TDs on DBs that were either practice squad, injured or unemployed 2 weeks ago. Color me unimpressed.
  20. So I guess I wasn't paying close atention but it looked like a lot of the chefs made dishes that wouldn't warm up well in those pans the next day--they really should've taken that into consideration while they planned. Ima need Minnesota chef to wear a beard net. I was just picturing all kinds of beard hair landing in his grits. Ewww. I'm pulling for Natalie! So quiet and unassuming but she rocked the first challenge. And she's from Philly...go NAT! I am crushing on Eric from Ghana. That is one fine man.
  21. This? Is awesome. The bequeathing of Precious Moments is a serious matter. LOL
  22. THIS!!! The only thing I can come up with is they think she's well liked and a bunch of Goliaths would vote for her to get the million?? Other than that, I got nothing. She did win an Immunity but they're not showing her strategizing--she usually gets pulled into a plan after it's been formulated. And her explaining to Jeff why she's such a huge threat was weak, cringey and laughable all at once.
  23. Yeah, that got me too. I'm usually pretty stoic during the Loved Ones episode but every now and then, a tear wells up against my will. Nick and his dad got me this season. And I kind of miss the days when the Loved Ones competed with the Survivors. They need to bring that back.
  24. Angelina is SO emotional upon seeing her mom and the first thing she does is brag about her stupid rice negotiation? AGAIN?! What a maroon. Alison is still trying to convince everyone (and herself) that SHE's the biggest threat left in the game?! Oy...another maroon. Kara is a beast in these endurance challenges. They'd better not sleep on her. I don't think I've heard her name mentioned as a threat all season. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA @ Gabby. Bye, crybaby. Carl was adding some flavor to the man-candy at Ponderosa, wasn't he? He looked quite handsome at TC.
  25. As someone who has attended exactly one yoga class before returning to my senses, I can attest that the two activities are not completely unrelated.
