  1. Cameron is a way better person than I am. And, Joss? Reminder: You got with Dex before you broke up with Cam, not after. Show's really gonna insist Joss isn't a cheater, isn't it?
  2. I could get behind the idea of a urinal if it was in its own private water closet, but right next to another toilet? No. Agree that the right team won, though. Adding square footage while upgrading existing space trumps just upgrading existing space. And they did it beautifully. Not sure why Mr. Baumler thought just adding a door to access the balcony space already there was such a smart idea in comparison. The Baumlers just seem like they're shortcutting it, just making things look pretty without putting much thought or creativity into it. They've even cut off the magnificent views twice. I dunno, maybe they think they're all that and a bag of chips, compared to the other teams, and don't have to put in the effort, but it's like they're playing to lose. Which means they'll probably win.
  3. Seriously. How can you be friends with someone you can't trust? Just because you have history? Nope. You're allowed to be mad for awhile, Cam. That might even be healthier than squashing your feelings for Joss's. Yet another storyline with no real stakes. I would really like to know what goes on behind the scenes on this show that requires Carly, and now Joss, suffer no consequences and, indeed, we're told are good people, no matter what they do or who they hurt. Also, seriously, Show, Dr. Obrecht couldn't even tell Carly "No, thank you." when she offered to show her to the door? Because the Dr. Obrecht I know would've at least given her a withering look, since she couldn't do what she really wanted, which is to shove Carly's head through the door, y'know, so as not to upset Willow. I hope this Three's Company thing going on at Sonny's isn't about making Dex Spencer's new best friend, now that Cam's going away. Stop trying to make fetch happen, Show.
  4. I don't think the married blonde lady contestant liked being judged. There were things I liked about each and things I disliked, but, overall, I think the right team won. I liked the aesthetic - Really liked their island. - and they seemed to add the most functionality to the area. The others just seemed to make their spaces pretty, but also a little muddled. The married blonde lady judge amused me when she criticized the one team for designing for a very specific buyer (someone single), then turned right around and complimented another team for designing for a different specific buyer (families). Your bias is showing, ma'am. Hated the wine racks. Talk about specificity. Also, they distracted from the view, which is the star of those dining rooms, and are a totally useless feature for those of us who don't drink. Much like the chandelier the guy judge would get rid of right away, I'd have to get rid of those racks.
  5. I'm still holding out hope he's the Canadian fisherman's. And, yes, seriously, dudes. Esme is an accomplished liar and conwoman. Why just automatically believe her on this one? Yesterday, when Liesl was talking with Willow and Michael, I was struck again with their absolute lack of compassion for a woman who lost her children as babies, then again when Nelle "died" (In quotes, because, suuuuure, Show, we believe ya.) and Willow refused to have anything to do with her as adults. Not to mention she's banned from the grandkids. Willow lost a child. She knows what that pain is. Right or wrong about whether or not Nina should have a place in her life, not feeling anything for Nina and the number of times she's had that loss makes you a truly horrible person. Lookin' at you, Carlys. And, seriously, Willow, whatever Nina has done to your family (which is small potatoes compared to the murderer you're encouraging Michael to reconcile with), recognize you're doing far worse in denying Nina the right to even have a family.
  6. Another instance of the editing sucking. It is really noticeably, ever more consistently bad these days. That is where I thought it'd be going, too, especially after Molly made a point to remind us she is "non-traditional" the other day. Good glory, this show doesn't need another kid. It doesn't need another pregnancy storyline so soon. And it really doesn't need another rote "don't we all just love and want babies" storyline. Alas, I'm afraid we're about to get all of the above. Count me amongst those mystified at Spencer being allowed to take the baby. (More bad editing, Show, or you're just that lazy to not bother with the legal proceedings that would be involved in that scenario?) And for Spencer to have naming rights? (Seriously, Show, he hasn't adopted this kid yet, has he?) Regardless of how he or anyone feels about Esme, it's beyond petty to not let her name her own kid. Also, Diane? Didn't Spencer already hire you to help him get the kid? Did you jump ship to take on someone else as your client in this situation? Sure. Nothing unethical about that. Oy. I guess I missed the lesson on friendship where it's required to tell your friends everything going on in your life. Good to know Alexis and Joss didn't miss it.
  7. But they're going to have roses and orchids! Alas, somehow the Carlys would find a way to blame Nina for that, too. Am I right that these nimrods have still not told Wiley that Willow is sick, never mind that they believe she only has a few weeks to live (till they got the regrettable news that Liesl is a match)? Of course, now they'll pat themselves on the back for keeping the truth from him. It really is a Carly world, isn't it?
  8. Of course, we all knew Nikolas would be missing, and kudos to those who suspected Mason would be involved. But, Austin. Dude. You're a doctor. You handled Nikolas's body. Don't be calling out Ava on the realness of his deadness when you were there, too. The editing on this show has been bad lately, and there were a couple bad cuts today, to my mind. Not going directly from Ava to Austin when Dante left. Not getting to hear Nina give Michael the news. (Maybe the editors are Carlys, too.) Instead, we get the endless entree of Bonding with Chicken Piccata. Show, Dex is not happening.
  9. Benson reading to Bradley Whitford's character at the end took me back to the episode where Munch went to the hospital at the end to read to the comatose little girl. That was a great Munch episode. Given the timing, I'm sure it was a coincidence, but it made this a really appropriate episode to honor Richard Belzer.
  10. The hypocrisy of Joss complaining about hypocrisy... The irony, it burns.
  11. If I had to pick a favorite episode, that would be it. It was fun and funny, involved everyone in one plot, and I love that it shook up the normal character dynamics. I wish they'd done more of that in later seasons.
  12. Aw, I have a fondness for that scene. That was one of the first eps I watched when the show hit syndication. After watching more eps, Bernadette plummeted to the bottom of my ranking of the characters, so now that fondness is really more just nostalgic for helping introduce me to the show. I'd have a hard time picking a favorite scene, but a couple I really love are Raj's Bollywood fantasy (for the sheer absurdity and Raj-ness of it all) and the one where Penny gives Sheldon the napkin signed by Leonard Nimoy.
  13. Thanks @Asp Burgerand @jsbt. She's the only one I didn't recognize. Still can't tell it's her, really, but I'm glad she's there. Maybe I need my glasses updated. Really wish LW was off to the side more. The way it's framed, it looks like she and GF are sharing the center, and, no, Show. Carly is not the matriarch of the show, not even close. That's Laura, no contest.
  14. Totally stumped on who the woman on the ladder is.
  15. Did I really hear Joss kind of dismiss what Britt did, saving her worthless life, in favor of giving the whole credit to Dex? 'Cause I kinda think I did. Girl, you would've been fish bait if Britt hadn't smacked the Hook with her bag, then fought her off while you were supposed to run. We lost Britt for this mini-Carly. Britt > Joss.
  16. Plus, there's that whole "Carly, and those Carly approved, never lose" thing. But, hey, we can be dreamers! I'm still hoping Monica goes all in on a wrongful death suit against Sonny for AJ's murder, or, at least, you know, not invite him over to the house for social gatherings.
  17. Oh, Joss. I don't think it's the growing apart thing Cam's having trouble with. It's that whole lying and cheating thing, remember that? You keep fooling yourself, girl. You are your mother's daughter, after all, so nothing's on you, right?
  18. And, also, how is this "all going to be over soon," Carly? The statute of limitations on insider trading is a number of years, I would guess.
  19. You forgot Chase pretty quick, Willow. And, no, Brook Lyn, Willow's no saint. Ugh, it drives me crazy how the hatred the Carlys have for Nina has become so normalized that not only does everyone else accept it but believes it's the truth of who Nina is. No, Drew, it wasn't just up to Willow to decide what to do with the information that Nina is her mother. Nina had both of her daughters taken from her not just once, but twice, and that's unutterably cruel. Carly's hurt feelings don't equal or negate that, Drew. I hate these people and this show for not bringing any crap down on Carly's head. They don't even know how to Soap anymore.
  20. If nothing else, the Hook making a concerted effort to come after Joss again lends credence to the theory, as far as they know, that she's targeting Trina's circle, something Trina, Cam, and Spencer - and the police - should all be made aware of for their own safety, but, yeah, protecting Dex is more important. That's something Trina, Cam, and Spencer should really know. It's easy to be a good friend when times are great, Joss, but proof's in the pudding when they're not and you've failed. Girl really is a selfish, self-centered piece of work.
  21. Good glory. So I guess that means she was actually cheating on Dex, since she was still officially Cameron's girlfriend. Either way, girl's a cheating cheater who cheats.
  22. The fallout from the "big" Carly/Nina/Willow reveal certainly has been, so I expect no less from the Hook reveal. Prove me wrong, Show. I dare ya!
  23. Same. What I wanted most from this reveal was all that Carly deserves raining down on her head from every quarter. Now, other than Nina, it looks like that muted, interrupted reaction from Sonny is all we're gonna get. Please prove me wrong, Show. Now I'm worried, if they do a baby switch thing, it'll be Nina who does it so she can continue to be The!Evul and, most likely, Carly the ultimate heroine when she inevitably reveals the truth. Prove me wrong, Show! Does Willow know that Carly kept the truth to herself yet? Ah, I can see that. But I do think one man being involved with three sisters is worthy of its own emoji. 😉
  24. Aw, of course, thank you, but I was thinking of the emojis you hit to respond to a person's post, rather than actually replying. I usually go with Sad to reflect the ick factor, but sometimes it's just not good enough. Michael, I don't know what it says about Nina that Willow, that most generous and open-hearted person, thinks Nina is the absolute worst humanity has to offer yet Carly and Sonny are as naught, but I know what is says about Willow. At this point, I think Esme would be the more stable mother.
