  1. What a ridiculous cliffhanger. The FBI may think Joan's a person of interest, but having to surrender herself? If she had beaten him to death her hands would show it (if a bat or an iron rod was used instead, the autopsy will tell). Also, Joan was staying at her parents home, there could be witnesses (maybe not her mom with her health problems), she was injured so her father could be there, siblings visiting her. Also the fact of how a tiny woman with 2 broken ribs managed to drag the dead body of a much bigger man and dump him elsewhere. Not to mention, somehow finding him way before the FBI and NYPD could. They could argue she hired someone to do it (more clever and faster than the feds and cops), but... when? how? What evidence of any of these scenarios could the FBI have while still processing the body at the scene? Why not consider the relatives of any of the other victims he actually managed to kill? Wouldn't they have stronger motives? Joan wasn´t even obsessed with the guy, or involved like Sherlock was. Unless of course, there is someone form the FBI manipulating things to frame Joan...
  2. Well, I think this is the end of Kendall. The accident is destroying him emotionally (not that he will ever atone for it in the open), but even if and when he gets over it, I don't think he'll be able to stand up to his father ever again. Not so much out of fear of this being revealed but out of shame. He was soo close. Connor is reaching new levels of "WTF is wrong with this guy". He wants to be president?? He's living in a cloud. I still don´t quite understand the nature of Tom and Shiv´s relationship. I don´t think he just wants to marry an heiress. There's a scent of desperation from him to have Shiv admire him and love him. Or need him, like it seems she once did. All of Logan´s kids are weird, with weird relationships.
  3. Joan should start looking for good sitters. She may not have a 9-5 job, but she does get called at crimes scenes at wee hours and pulls a lot of all nighters. Also LOL at making the brownstone baby proof; that place is hardly adult proof. :D
  4. He's the reason I started watching the show. He doesn´t always get to display it, but Macfadyen's got great comedic timing.
  5. Best episode yet. Loved Lady Caroline's supreme bitch, then again you can't go wrong with Harriet Walter. And Greg needs to lay off the weed a bit, it's making him slow; it was obvious Tom understood, he just did not want to hear. At first I thought Greg was going to be a dark horse, specially after he went to Gerri behind Tom´s back when he wanted to babble about the cruise files. But I guess they did bond with all those nights out in town. Ah well, there´s no shortage of back stabbing in the family, so there´s time still. Roman and Connor are sooo screwed up, you kinda feel like Willa and Tabitha could do better.
  6. I kinda like when there´s some terrible DIY job done by the owner that has to be redone, or finish a basement they started like, YEARS ago and left it hanging. Sometimes they hilariously (and inexplicably) defend a feature in the house that clearly has to go and fight Jonathan about it: "but I LOVE this". Dude, you´re moving out, just paint the damn fireplace.
  7. Well, yeah. I guess that´s what works for her. Per Logan's words he won´t compete with her, nor betray her. I think he has a point.
  8. I think those are meant to be scars, and that he's been hiding them from his children all along because when the corporate therapist suggests they all go for a swim, Connor ans Shiv explain their dad can´t swim, doesn´t trust water. Their demeanor seemed honest, not like they were covering up for him but rather stating a fact they have been told their wholes lives. A lie made up by Logan in order to avoid being seen shirtless by his children. We actually see him swimming in the end. And I guess we finally know what´s so great about Tom. For Shiv anyway. All of Logan's children´s relationships are sad.
  9. I got nostalgic while hearing that song about the Harlan war. Raylan Givens wouldn´t have put up with any of theses assholes' crap.
  10. What exactly is so great about Tom anyway? I was waiting for Shiv to answer. And enough with the ortolan. The only time it didn't look cheesy was on Hannibal.
  11. Marcia could have explained from the beginning how Logan was not at his best after taking the medicine, and tell them to come back later, rather than refusing to let the kids see him, and only half explaining after Shib went past her. Also, for her to find out someone's been sniffing around her past means there is people out there that know to get back at her when questions are being asked. She is making herself look more shady. Also, Shib could have afforded to get this done by more professional, careful people than what appears to be an ex-lover/colleague, like, that's what lawyers are for and she must have pretty expensive ones. This family is not new to this world of billionaires, honey traps, schemes, corporate espionage, political leverage, etc, the kind of thing that makes you watch your back carefully. How could Connor be so naive about whether you can background check someone? Is Greg gonna be the one who figures out something's afoot with the equity money guy and Furness, except no one will pay attention to him 'cause he's an inarticulate awkward idiot? It is very fortunate that he was both at the coffee shop and then at the park to see both meetings, but I wonder if he even knows who those people are to make the connection. This show reminds me of Billions in that I can´t root for anyone, they are all assholes.
  12. Axe, you cannot be that desperate.
  13. Eddie, you didn´t hear any voices. You got cop eyes, that´s all. You hear the car description on the radio, you glance outside with what appears to be nonchalance, yet your brain is trained to pick up in details, and then your mind makes the connection. Fortunately for Jamie, pretty fast. And nice shot btw. All in all, I'm just glad the "will they/won't they" is put to rest. Also hoping like other posters, they skip right through the wedding and begin next season already hitched.
  14. Seriously, Connerty is more like Chuck than he realizes. He was so obsessed and ardent about getting his boss, he inadvertently made a couple of long time enemies work together to save their asses. He better watch himself if he doesn´t want to end up being what he despises.
  15. Did I just hear Wendy say "who's gonna be our patsy"? Fuck everybody.
  16. Gaby and her hatred of private paramedics is ridiculous. When the driver asked them not to ruin the door, the patient wasn´t seizing, and once he did, the driver said nothing against. And it happened right away, they didn´t waste any seconds doing what the driver wanted that could've compromised the patient. Gaby mouthing off like they were going to let the patient die rather than ruin the ambulance was out of place. And it has nothing to do with going private. She would still be the same trouble maker she is now. Although they would have probably fire her by now. Last we saw Renee, she was working in international finance law, now she´s handling pro bono cases for the CFD against an oil refinary. Does that make sense? I´m honestly asking cause I´ve no idea what the first thing is. Well, it´s benn 5 years, she could´ve had a career change I guess. Although I don´t recall Kelly having that "smartest and most knowledgeable" reputation back in season 1. Try harder, Renee.
  17. Stella has been working at 51 for almost 2 years, I can´t believe Kelly's Vegas wedding was never brought up, not even once.
  18. Apparently, Connerty can´t handle the full monty. Wags would totally exploit that.
  19. I really liked this episode. Specially the launch scene. You see their faces all light up for a moment, and then the explosion happens. It reminded me of the Challenger. They all were shocked, but of course it took Dollar Bill, what, 2 seconds to think money? I like the guy what damn. Every time I think Chuck's an ass, there's his father being even more disgusting. Of course he's proud of his son when he's fucked him good. I'll give this to Chuck: he knows that's fucked up and will never be that way with his own son. Also, I was under the impression Wendy knew Chuck knew about her affair. An episode without Lara is a good episode.
  20. This was ALL SO STUPID. ALL OF IT. The FBI storming into the firehouse, without it being cleared by higher authorities. The FBI agents. The FBI screening visitors. All of the agents somehow forgetting to look at the building to watch Cruz and the kid who broke a window. A CFD chief, captain and lieutenant present during the FBI agents' meeting (and lecturing them about how to do an operation?). I guess no federals ever cleared a building before looking for a suspect before in the history of ever, until Casey presents them with a plan: "People see firefighters coming, they lower their guard". WELL NOT ANYMORE THEY WONT. And Cordova, still hung up on a woman he had a fling with for a couple of weeks OVER A DECADE AGO. The only thing that made sense was Kelly's mom telling Stella how both her and Benny did a number on Kelly.
  21. This would be a great time for Stella to pack up her bags and move out, 'cause no way you wanna be in the middle of your roommate/lover's estranged parents' hook up. Also, she might want to suggest Kelly to throw out that mattress and get new sheets, ew. I still don't think Casey HAD to know about a fling his wife had a DECADE AGO, even though he wasn´t upset about the fling per se, but Gaby had every right to keep that to herself. Also, having the private paramedics show up with a patient all jeweled up and expensive looking clothes after ditching the GSW victims was a bit on the nose.
  22. Damn, that time jump went right over Chernobyl. Ever since that episode where the centre tells P & E them that the propeller blueprints they had stolen were fakes, killing a bunch of russian sailors, and how murderous Elizabeth was, only to hear Oleg and Arkady over at the Rezidentura talk about how their navy was to blame for putting the propeller in a sub twice as big as the one it was designed for after only testing it for a few weeks rather than the 5 months it was required, I was hoping to see Chernobyl go down in front of their eyes, and hear what lies Claudia would feed them, and what kind of mental gymnastics they would perform in order to buy it.
  23. Well, I imagine while the kids were growing up, P & E biggest concern must have been looking like a completely boring regular american family. Specially in front of the kids, so they don´t go babbling to classmates or teachers about how their parents do weird things like wear wigs or pick locks or speak Russian. No, i think this 2° generation biggest asset is being born and raised american. And I do get the value about Paige learning some basic spying shit, but it´s risky. Lets say there´s trouble some day, she gets arrested or something. She may get away with explaining a fake ID, or sitting in a car for hours, but that would be a smudge. Stupid an insignificant but still, an unnecessary risk for an operative that could get into places where none of the others can´t. A career in the military, or a college degree and later on the CIA or the FBI, is where they should want her. It´s what she can do that her mother never could. My money is on Renee spying on Stan alright but not for the russians, but for the Americans. The government decided to keep tabs on an agent that got real chummy with russians rather than put him in jail or fire him for the close calls he´s had. Renee would be like an american Elizabeth.
  24. "Do I look like a fucking Charlie to you?" Chuck could've come out so much worse.
