Gary Numan. (Ocasek - I still play the Cars music)
-
Is nothing sacred? 'Cars' used for a Walmart commercial.

Too much weight?
-
Jeez. What a story. Where do these people (the abusers) come from?
-
Those hands are huge. OK, now here's the trip to the grocery and all the stares and the comments about the stares. We get it.
-
OK, she can't have knee replacement, I assume, because of the weight & anesthesia, etc., but why can't she have the shots? My 88 yr old mother gets those 2x a year and is fine.

How y'all doing?

OMGoodness, Heather. Buddy is a bum. A guy who still needs to work on his recovery (he's not a bum because he's in recovery, but just because he's a bum). You'd think she lost out to marrying Prince Harry. Girlfriend needs to find her big girl panties and get over it.

Why isn't Babs at the hospital physical therapy or at least have a trained PT evaluate what she can do at the gym? Unless Ms Scantily clad has a degree, I wouldn't want her messing with my elderly, stroke-ridden : ) mother.
-
Buddy's new GF has a kid??? What is wrong with these women? And again, none of them think about the effect on a kid of having men in and out of the house - and the number of kids who are abused or killed by mom's boy friend.
-
Lord, Heather, please get a life. I can't believe she is crying over that mouth breather. That said, it is mean to keep bringing his name up to her and to show her discomfort on camera. Now Twit is a physical therapist and neurologist. Maybe Babs needs to rest. Why would you want to 'trick' your mother into coming to the gym? She such a terrible daughter.

Go, Steven! And yeah, if none of your children attend your wedding, something is very wrong. I used to see a guy whose grown children wouldn't have anything to do with him. It made me uncomfortable and I stopped seeing him. I wonder if they showed up at his funeral.

Who the heck is Chantal?

Princess toast is back! I need a keto version.

I've seen that on the thread. I must have missed the original usage. Where is it from and what does it mean?

As much as I would enjoy living with my son again, I know he has to have his own place. He's serious with someone and if they get married, I know they need their time as a couple. I would never demand to live with them. I dig that it may be hard for Colt & Debbie, but they both have to tough it up for a bit and let the newlyweds be alone for awhile.

Jeez. I can't imagine talking to my child like that, or having another adult talk to my child like that. I have grown child; older than most of the people on that couch. He's still my child and I'd have to cut somebody who thought they would get between me and my child. Yes, it's difficult bringing in a new person, but that relationship has to include the adult child. You don't just throw them to the curb because you want some new ..... What - "These are the hard lessons that life teaches." Huh? That your father throws you aside for the new wife? Wow. How awful.

My understanding is that the contestants on Masterchef also have lessons. I don't have an issue with that. My personal experience with algebra tells me that lessons alone do not an expert make.

OMGoodness. I read the first line and skipped down to the response. I put 2 + 2 together and thought you were talking about taping down your boobs and were calling them your 'cats.' Jeez... : )
-
When I went to new student orientation at Michigan (early 1970's), there were signs around campus advertising a meeting for 'radical lesbians.' My mother was with me and commented, "I understand lesbians. But why do they have to be radical?" : )
-
Well, a nice group of people who you can root for. I don't like it. : ) Seriously, I wish them all well.
-
Jeez, Cat, you're gonna make me get teary-eyed and I don't like that.
-
Hmm... could be. It's been many years. It wouldn't surprise me if it was only in Georgetown.

I feel this way about people who search for parents (usually fathers) who left them (think of the Maury show or similar). They LEFT YOU. They didn't send a check, they didn't send a birthday card, they didn't pay for college. They left and didn't look back. You need to do the same.

I dunno. I've been at big public univs in the Midwest and west coast. Socks and sandals everywhere.
