I don’t know how it is in the US, but in Canada, parole officers are designated as peace officers. Community parole officers meet regularly with their clients; at the office, at the parolee’s home and work, and even sometimes at a coffee shop (after a residence and workplace check have been done). So the show actually got something right. For once.

I think this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually really enjoy Kelly. I think she’s funny and sarcastic, and personally I thoroughly enjoyed the story she and Mark told about Lola walking in on them lol. I love their dynamic; I wouldn’t be sad if Mark was her permanent cohost.

That doesn’t make sense to me. By next spring, she will be finishing her first year; so in spring 2023, she will be finishing her last year. Year 1: fall 2019-spring 2020 year 2: 2020-2021 year 3: 2021-2022 year 4: 2022-2023
