  1. Happy for Carter. He's amazingly poised and professional for someone who just turned 15. His voice is absolutely beautiful. If it wasn't going to be him, I would have been happy with Jim or Desz. All 5 were so talented. Longgggg Finale, but good season, overall.
  2. I think this is why I'm watching, as well. I just wish most of the cast were not ... the cast.
  3. -Heather comes across as most likeable or relatable. But like anyone, aspects of her bug. -Meredith seems pretty normal -- too normal and level-headed for a show like this. But I like her (her son, not so much). -Whitney comes across as very sweet. But then she'll do or say something that makes my head spin. -Lisa seems like a Narcissist with a capital N. -Jen is abhorrent. Her "outrage" level goes from 1 to 10 to 100. No need. -Mary showed her true colors this episode and, I find her almost as bad as Jen. I keep watching and hoping for nuggets of humanity or genuine humor or interest ... but I'm disappointed so far.
  4. This was my dad's problem. He said the same thing. I thought the last episode was "well done", especially the last 10 minutes. But I echo my father in also being disappointed that it wound up being Hugh Grant, after all. This show seemed ripe for a few wowzer twists in the end that never materialized; waster red herrings. Having said all of that, I enjoyed the last 6 Sunday nights anyway.
  5. Ian vs. Carter for all the marbles. Incredible. Desz up there, too.
  6. I agree with all of this. I feel like there HAD to be more motive than some life insurance policies (when she was the breadwinner already) and the flirtation on the phone that ended months prior. You don't kill someone over that. And by all accounts, Jenea seemed like a completely normal, reasonable, sensible, kind human being to every single person who knew her (family, friends, colleagues -- this behavior would have come out of left field). There had to be more to their marriage that Dateline/investigators just didn't cover or couldn't uncover. Also interesting was her not having photos of Todd in her office. Something else was up that no one talked about. Odd. And yes, while I sadly think Jenea did it, there was A LOT of reasonable doubt (heck, it took the jury 8 days to convict). Crime scene coverage was lacking. The clean-up didn't feel right. Motive wasn't airtight. And also ....... why would Todd and Jenea leave the house that morning together in his car and she be wearing a hat and sunglasses so that they could ....... argue in a desert and she would kill him?!?!? That just sounds too bizarre to be real. And none of the daughters saw mom and dad leave that morning and see mom absent for 2+ hours??? I just don't know.
  7. Exactly. I'm actually sad that she likely did it. I really liked her the first hour and believed every word she said. There is still a small part of me that thinks it could have been someone else. But the damning thing for me was the delivery of contacts one month before the murder, and also her gait (with the flailing left arm). Aghh. Loved the episode until it became fairly obvious that it was Jenea. I feel for Todd's parents and his children. I do have questions about the investigation, though; as others have mentioned, above.
  8. I have felt for two episodes now that Franklin was the killer. He hates Jonathan. He might have known about the affair. He has some self-loathing. etc. But my co-worker is now thinking that Miguel is the killer. Why? Because he's the first person we see in the first episode. He's been acting oddly (yes, I now his mother just died). And we haven't seen much of him in the story as of yet. That just seems ... odd. I think Nicole Kidman is a fabulous actress. She's good, here. But I expect greatness and, instead, I'm seeing her just looking great (hair, outfits) and walking around a lot. I also think a lot of the talk around her face being frozen is tired. She had Botox way back in the day and lip injections. But I see plenty of wrinkles now, and her lips look thin like they did circa 2000-2001. I think she's been looking great and more natural for quite some time now.
  9. I actually liked this episode. I admired the Braunwyn/son/family dynamic for the first time. I liked Gina. I liked hearing Sophie's insight into her mom, Shannon. Can I ask? Since all I read here is how awful the show is, what is it about the first season (that everyone always raves about, or even subsequent seasons) that was so amazing that it makes the current season(s) pale so much in comparison?
  10. Yes, it was. I could tell by the lilt in her voice during certain parts; reminding me of her Moulin Rouge performance. Loving the show, so far. Nicole looks amazing with that hair. Love a good slowburn thriller/whodunit.
  11. I echo everyone who mentioned Tinsley slayyyyying Dorinda. My heart was actually racing for the entire time Tinsley was taking Dorinda down. And I think Dorinda was kind of neutered by it, ultimately -- she seemed quieter and resigned to being in the wrong for the rest of the episode.
  12. How I feel about the Denise/Brandi/Rest of the Group "storyline": Do I think Denise is being completely truthful about her dalliance with Brandi? No. There might be something to it. But I think Brandi is completely exaggerating the experience. Do I think Brandi is telling the truth about everything? No. But I think she mighty be telling the truth about some of bit. She's a shit-stirrer, but she also is a straight-shooter. Are the girls blowing this all out of proportion? Yes. If they were true friends, they would realize that whether or not Brandi is telling the truth, that salacious news like this could damage Denise and her family. They are not friends. And do I think Denise and Brandi were "friends"? No, I don't. I believe they got together a couple of times and enjoyed each pother's company and texted each other from time to time over the course of the year (whether it was friendly, business-related, or otherwise). But a long text thread does NOT make a friendship (of which they all keep saying "relationship"). I have text threads with many people that go on for a long time and I would not consider them friends, at all. The group needs to drop that whole idea. It's stupid, and reaching. Overall, the whole thing is ridiculous and, like PuppyGate last year, needs to be dropped.
  13. Ohhhhh, boy. I wonder if it will be spun/edited into being a successful opening.
  14. LIVED for the surprise opening of Camille opening the door to Kyle and the mutual looks of : well, looky what we've got here -- followed by Camille's "hiiiiii". LOL, I loved it. I don't know. Loathed Season 1 Camille. But ever since, I have found her amusing. She's try-hard, that's for sure. And she was batsh*t crazy last year. But I was happy for the lunacy. She really did bring some much-needed drama (and some truth-telling). Rinna can be awful. I know Camille is Camille. But Rinna's "assh*le" comment right off the bat was uncalled for. And I didn't care for Rinna's treatment of Denise at that earlier sit down, either. She just stinks.
  15. Jackie was great. They all were this week! But I honestly think that no matter how great she did, particularly in the lip synch, Jackie was the one who was going to go this week based on track record alone. Amazing Top 6, indeed, Ru.
  16. If Sherry Pie had not done what he did and were not who he is as a human being ....... what would our opinions be of him/if he was likeable/super talented/warranting a Finale slot, etc etc etc?
  17. I also think Gigi plays up her "weaknesses" when she actually doesn't have many.
  18. I was LOL-ing, for real. Bent over in my seat. Loved that moment.
  19. I think Braunwynn ... what a crazy name to type out ... has learned her lesson as far as getting info PRE-taping and then lying about it. She had no beef with these women before meeting them. She owned up to lying about it. She apologized and gave reason why she did it. She, and the rest, can move on now. She just better not lie again.
  20. I feel like: even though Camille is wishy washy and says some heinous things (especially towards Denise, unwarranted) ... she CLEARLY was struggling. She's had a rough year. She clearly was having a mental and emotional breakdown (where she legit felt ganged-up on). Some of what Camille said was bonkers, but some of it wasn't -- and the girls didn't acknowledge the truths she was saying, either. I think it was odd that only Rinna walked over to show any empathy to Camille whatsoever. Erika said a quick, quiet I'm sorry. Kyle could and should have walked over. She's known Camille the longest. They had a rough past and found a way all these years. And she could have said a quick: "Hey, we may not have seen eye to eye this year and I think you said some truly bad things for reasons I can't quite comprehend, but I do care about you and see that you're hurting, and hopefully we all can move on if we're ALL willing to own our parts". They all could have said something like that and everyone could have healed a bit and/or moved on. But I think Kyle was scared to show empathy to Camille because bulldog Teddi would've chastised her if she did. Camille was crying throughout this episode. She was crying during the Kyle/LVDP montage. I really think she cares for VDP and Kyle on a certain level and felt really bad about the dissolution of their friendship. Kyle should have been astute to see how that shook-up Camille. There were no such tears coming from Kyle's end to Camille when she was clearly having her own breakdown.
  21. How I see it (by season's end): Dorit started it ALL, played the victim, and never fixed it. The worst. Rinna and Teddi are the ultimate mean girls. No, maybe THEY'RE the worst. Erika had a good season by staying verrrrrry low-key. Kyle calls Camille wishy-washy, but she's the ultimate wish-wash -- being brainwashed by Rinna/Teddi mean girls and keeping mum (with wide eyes) throughout the season; except for her big moment in LVDP's kitchen. Camille. Well. I am glad she stirred things up. But I think her mom's cancer/beloved assistant dying/house burning down made her go a bit nutty in the end. I'll tell you one thing, she had every right to feel conflicted about LVDP (and NOT be totally against her like the rest). The girls just so wanted her to be on their side. Denise was fun in spurts. But her ultimately falling in line with the mean girls was dispiriting. LVDP will never not be shady. But I will miss her on this show. I just hope some of these friendships can be mended or some closure can be found by next season, because this was a brutal, BRUTAL watch. I prefer my BH wives having fun with each other, not taking each other down. I like a little drama, for sure. but this was way, way too much crap.
  22. Scattered thoughts: Erika was very mature in accepting Teddi's apology. And also, Teddi's apology felt sincere. Kyle's apology did not. And Erika's acceptance of it felt off, for her. I guess she really doesn't want to ruffle feathers with someone who she's never had a major issue with before. Camille losing her house is devastating. Yes, she's rich. Yes, she has other properties. Yes, her consignment store comments were eeeeeek. But when you lose your "home" and everything in it ... it is still devastating. Camille's garbage bag comment at Kitsons made me literally LOL on my couch. The pile-up on Camille at dinner was as shit-show as I expected. Rinna is the worst. Teddi is the worst. Kyle sits there thinking everything, yet saying nothing because she's always scared of repercussions. While I don't think Camille should have aired all that dirty laundry out on Dorit like that ... I don't blame her for losing her cool, a bit. I agree with what some poster write before that: Camille probably gave that interview about LVP weeks before it came-out in People magazine. It wasn't like she was full-on LVP's side. And, guess what, she's allowed to feel conflicted about LVP/Puppygate/the other women. None of this is a black-&-white matter. Lots of grays (feelings) in there. I was not a fan of Season One Camille. I've kind of loved her ever since as the "friend" who pops in and out and is friendly with all the women {maybe NOT so genuine, however}. But while I didn't like Season One Camille, and while she's returned to many of those ways this season {Producer-instigated or not) ... I'm LOVING Season One Camille this time around because she IS targeted by all these mean girls and, they deserve every bit of tongue lashing that they're getting from Camille. I sit on my couch with a giddy grin on every time they're all flummoxed by whatever comes out of Camille's mouth. One last thing, so many people keep saying that "Camille is gunning for that diamond". It has been reported many times over the years that BRAVO wants Camille back full-time, but that she does not want it. She's been content to be the "friend" for at least 4-5 seasons now. And last I heard, she still does not want the burden of FULL-TIME status. I imagine she might change her mind if she were paid significantly more. But after the season she just had {again, where I'm sure the producers asked her to step it up a bit in the absence of LVP}, I don't know that she'd want to come back, at all. I certainly hope she does.
  23. This. Kyle is one of my faves, but she's really going down in my estimation as the season goes on (her and Teddi irk me, her attitude towards Camile irks me, her stance against LVP irks me). Erika can irk me to no end too, but I actually understand her lately, and particularly on this episode. I get migraines, so I know how debilitating they can be. These women are always complaining of some malady and it SIDELINES them. So how can they not see that Erika - who isn't some great gregarious person anyway - was suffering from a migraine, yet STILL joined them on the wine tasting excursion (there's no way in Hell I'd go)? I think was really BIG of her. And what does Kyle & Teddi do? They crap on Erika ... AGAIN ... everything from re-hashing the Rinna-playing-Erika-at-Farahween non-debacle to the now "we don't think you like us" bit. Come onnnnnnnn. I know they were drunk of their butts but ... seriously??????? I can't BELIEVE I'm saying this, but I actually side with Erika, Rinna and Dorit this episode (something I NEVER thought I'd ever hear myself say) in saying that yes ... Kyle & Teddi were being bullies. Erika has made certain efforts to be more of a girl's girl. She'll never reach the levels of the other women. But she is, in no way, as closed-off as she once was. And yes, it seems like since LVP and Camille were not there, it was time to rag on anyone else. That was you, Erika. Not nice, girls.
