I feel bad that I don't like her because she's been bullied but she really doesn't come across well. I find her passive aggressive. I dunno.... Is it just us??? I'm not a huge fan of the fan dessert girls either! I'm behind (as always) but I have to say it was super weird seeing Tommy sedate last week. I'm so used to him being cluelessly chirpy!

I vaguely remember a "difficult" contestant named Claudette but I don't recall her being anything like the happy person in this episode. She's like a completely different person!!!

I haven't even seen this episode! Just logging on to make sure that my fab four (Evelyn, Damarr, Buddha and Nick) are still safe! They are thank goodness!!!

He wasn't great! Aside from the white chocolate disaster he was pretty much cannon fodder to be eliminated at some stage. He didn't grow or anything like the younguns such as Brendan (hehe still so happy for him that he bought a house) or Jess grew during the competition. I remember John as being the "due to be eliminated any day now" type of chef. They brought him back purely for the white chocolate drama imo.

I squealed when the theme music played in EP 1!!! I thought it would be a brand new reboot (and in some ways it is). I didn't realize they could get JACK back!!!!! Hubby and I feel like we've been through a whole lifetime with Jack so it was like "Arghhhh OMG they have Jack!!!!!!!!!" We've only just finished Ep3 but I'm giddy everytime I turn it on. It was staple in our lives a when we discovered it more than a decade ago! We followed the new seasons (new for back then) and managed to watch most of the early seasons. I love it! I've loved and left shows but I stayed with the Mothership! It always delivered for me. It wasn't perfect but it delivered.

I looooove this show so much!!! What are the chances of getting another season?

"Two vegans in love" Bahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 Love it!!!!! I love the Mothership. It's been a long time since I watched the Mothership but this feels like it to me, maybe a bit older and grumpier (some of the lines in the episode made me think they were written by a "Get off my lawn" aged person, really cracked me up)but still do humourous and solid overall. I really like the jury selection discussion and their ongoing strategy discussions.

Hehe I am going to watch the Immunity challenge then! I like Michael and I like Billie! Actually I don't mind Julie. I think she is quite matter of fact and humourous. I feel like the editing is trying to sell her and that's annoying because I really like Julie when I don't notice that they are trying to sell her!

@SnazzyDaisy I finished the relay episode and now I know what you're talking about regarding Andy being a jerk. He is not the most articulate judge. His appeal for me lies in the fact that he is endearing (or was before that ep). He was quite an a$$hole yelling out that taco thing! I am almost catching up to you guys! Hopefully by next week I will be on schedule!

Is it worth watching? I find that with this show I just need to get used to it! The first week the editing annoyed me but now it's like I've learnt to tune out all the sappy stuff. I like Andy but to me it's so weird that he's judging Billy. I find him endearing as a judge but some of the favorites are so much better than him imo!!! I'm up to the waffle episode. That waffle does not look appealing at all!!! Give me that fluffy sponge cake by the fan contestant any day!!!

I'm really enjoying the show! Glad to see it back without many Covid restrictions. Life almost feels normal again!!!

Done! Thank for being so practical and posting the link. I get riled up and have had my fair share of "wuzzrobbed" moments but rarely am I riled up enough to contact a network about something. The lunacy of this season has pushed me over the edge 😒

This comment really resonates with me! This is the core of it for me. There are bad, over the top shows with appropriately crazy casting that I enjoy but this one just makes me feel bad for the very competent, non dramatic bakers. It's uncomfortable so I can't even hate watch it.

I love love love this show. These bakers are so so so talented! I really like the host too! I thought he was a little off at first but he really grew on me. He's wacky, good fun and more importantly not mean spirited. I'm terrible at spotting the money bags, cash register cakes.

I like Kelsey! And Brooke! I think they're super talented (Brooke in particular is very gifted at cooking I think). But I am watching another show where I think a certain person is completely and utterly unbearable so we all have people who bug us I guess😅

Why did they that woman her own show??? She's a twit! She's just absolutely unbearable. Why are they trying to make her happen? Are we just in the minority? Does she have a huge following that food network is trying to capitalize on and no one else thinks she's awful??? Someone please explain it to me!!!!!! I have in the past complained about a few people like Katie Lee (who I will take over Molly ANY day) but Molly constantly looking like she's going to pee in her pants, complete with random mean girl bitchy moments is unbearable. WHY???? WHY????
