Loving Gregory as a judge. He's insightful, sincere and I adore him just as much as I did when he was on Top Chef. Bring him on permanently Chopped!!!!!!!! I like Alex too so it was lovely having 2/3 judges that I enjoy. And Sara!!!!!!!!! I was thrilled to see her! It's going to be hard to go back to normal Chopped after this!

I'm puzzled by the look Aiden gave Seema. I'm sure it's just an odd acting choice and won't mean anything in the plot but...... That was a very odd acting choice!!!!! I watch a lot of soppy Chinese series and that's the classic look they have with the male lead first lays eyes on the beautiful female lead. It was so bizzare.

Perhaps they spent all their money on weed.

I like this show! I only started watching it for Alex but I really like it now. I feel like the level of judging has gone up from the first season. I looooooove Alex! She's deadpan and kind of snarky but under all that she's kind to the contestants and gives them solid advice so they don't fail. She's the complete opposite of Joe on MC who is just salivating for people to fail.

I'm probably the only one here but I didn't think Sunny did anything offensive in this episode. It's TV so they expect some shenanigans but I thought she was absolutely fine. I've seen her in loud mode on Beat Bobby Flay and she was nowhere near it here. I like this season. It's probably one of the shows I enjoy more right now, if I compare it against all the other cooking shows that are airing.

What is wrong with these people!!!!??? They're just so odd and do things that don't make sense. I get that it's TV but it's so bizarre. They're not very likeable either. I fell into the trap if having it on when I did housework and now I feel like I need to sit through the last two eps. Probably not helping that I'm watching the Americans at the same time and that makes way more sense than this show! Spies and all!

Completely and utterly agree. Really enjoyed the show but was let down by the result.

hehe I loved the beginning when Carrie swore that she was in costume otherwise why would she wear that outfit with the bows in her hair. I love the fashion on this show but Carrie totally wears random things like that! I really enjoyed this episode! Harry and Charlotte are hilarious and I loved the conversation where she tells him to leave or he'll never be a fun person again. I have had conversations like that with Hubby but in reverse. I feel sorry for Che. I feel like they flirted with Miranda and then suddenly found themselves in this.....situation with this discombobulated, needy lady and they don't quite know how to dig themselves out of it! Granted I did not watch S1 properly so maybe they chased Miranda and I missed it but I feel like they feel sorry for Miranda and wished they could just reset all this nonsense and not have to deal with her! Miranda is always in Che's face, being over the top, insecure and smothering. ETA why is Cynthia Nixon playing Miranda like she is two decades older than Carrie and Charlotte? Even Enid and Bitsy come off as being fairly consistent with their old selves whereas Miranda's speech and movements sometimes makes it look like she needs to be placed in a home.

Because I'm so freaking salty about Declan I went and checked the MasterChef AU Facebook page. I'd say the editing monkeys got this one wrong. Generally it's about a thousand likes for Declan related final 3 posts and a 500+ for posts related to the other two. I wonder if the judges were given a nudge by the producers or they just personally enjoyed the Brent sob story.

Thanks for posting @katisha Your comments and all the comments on this forum have been the highlight of this season. I'm out too now that Declan is out and yes like you I didn't realize how much I liked him until tonight!

Katisha I'm behind you guys but Brent has been insufferable in the last few episodes that I've watched!!! So I'm with you on the anyone but Brent train!!! One trick, arrogant pony that one! I will be decently happy if Declan wins though.

I enjoyed the episode (hehe just fast forwarded all the Miranda scenes) but found it infuriating that Carrie folded and gave the money to Enid. Why has she not grown out of this weird immature behaviour?

Are you sure about that Katisha because it would be 🤯 if inedible Rhiannon and Chaotic Cath both survived.

The time excuses kill me! They are given more time than anyone on any other show! As happy as I was to see Malissa go I agree that Rhiannon should have been eliminated! The whole baking powder thing was really shady because they didn't edit Malissa as doing poorly. It was very weird. That said Malissa seems to have no creativity or good recipes of her own. Well she's extremely limited. But she is very good at following instructions so does well following other people's recipes in pressure tests. Foolish girl should not have used her pin last week! She was doing absolutely fine. ETA: For much of this season, for me, it felt like Jock was still around. I was able to suspend reality and because he was so animated on screen it didn't feel like he is gone. I will miss him.

I used to think Sunny was a yelling banshee but she's fantastic on the Easter show and was a very thoughtful judge on military chopped. Depends on which Sunny appears here. Haha I love Anne. Anne absolutely devotes herself to her team. She is way too much but I like the sincerity.

Ok I'm going to confess and say it, Declan is my favourite!!!!! I actually like all the guys but Declan is soooooo endearing. I don't care if it's the editing, I'm a sucker for this edit!!! Actually it's really weird this season because I'm practically always raging at how incompetent Cath is and how badly Malissa cooks pasta but I still like them more than Larissa from way back when. They just seem like nicer people to me! Not that Larissa ever did anything bad, I just didn't like her!

Thank you @Snazzy Daisy On a different note I'm up to the episode where Brent is in elimination and the messing with him and the pin is nasty! I'm glad he stuck to his guns! I thought Declan played his pin well a few weeks back. There was no need to mess with Brent. His dish sounded pretty good and he wasn't foundering. ETA: What is to with Andy's suit??? It's a REALLY bad suit..... Very bubble looking which is just bizzare! I respect Declan's crazy jacket more than that suit 😂

Wooohoooo I cannot lose tomorrow!!! Of the three Rue is the least offensive but I am happy to lose any of those three!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The toy cakes were awesome!!! They all looked like plastic props! I love all three finalists so I'm a really happy camper here. All three seem to know what they're doing and I don't feel like anyone dodgy has limped into the final like the last two seasons of Spring Baking so I'm absolutely thrilled.

Ok this episode was worth it just for the pigeon purse!!!!! I almost died laughing during that scene. SJP's casual expression and the salesgirl's face was priceless as well. I really like Carrie this season. She and Charlotte still remind me of SATC but I felt like she was a more sensible version of Carrie here (I liked the end scene where they went their separate ways. I thought it was mature and sane) and I enjoyed that. I'm enjoying it so far. I just fast forward the bits I don't like, mainly Miranda the shrew, and the other random lady who is always miserable and screaming about something. Wexleys are charming and need more screentime!
