Can someone pretty please help me and explain a few things about writing fanfic? 1. Is a Beta someone who checks your work? 2. If so how do I find one? 3. Can I just create an account on Archive of Our Own and post? Is been like a zillion years since I've ventured down the fanfic road and so much had changed. I've got one chapter and a whole story outline but not sure where to start! Thank you in advance for your help!

Ok so I went a little nuts when the forum went down because I couldn't get spoilers from you guys so I watched everything from Broken Hearts to this episode (albeit at top speed). I don't have a problem with the whole O/L thing because I've watched many Korean tragedies in my time. To to me it felt like Oliver never loved her enough. Just like she never loved Tommy enough. She was just never that person for him and so he bailed again after the flashback kiss. I also thought it was an interesting contrast to the Broken Hearts episode where at the end Felicity left him and he said something like "oh but you can still marry me" and then telling her she can't be sure that he won't turn over a new leaf. He was wheeling and dealing with her and was desperate for her to marry him. He was essentially trying to chase Felicity into marriage like Laurel was chasing him at every opportunity. Whilst it was totally sh@tty of them to kiss and plan the future one week after Tommy's death, I think it's very consistent with what Laurel had wanted her whole life and ties in with her telling Oliver he was the love of her life. He was. It's not rational but you can't help who you love. Just like he could never really love her back that way but Felicity is the love of his life.

Speaking of ages what is the age difference between Felicity and Oliver meant to be? I know the actors have a 10 year difference but I can't work out the OF age difference.

I didn't watch the movies! It was all about the books for me and it all made sense in my head. And the fanfiction! The fanfic was awesome!

I remember when Order of the Phoenix was released hubby (then boyfriend) read it after me and made notes about all shippy things related to Harry and Hermione so we could discuss the ship. Lol 13 years later he watches season 3 of Arrow and tells me he would have run off with Ray if he were Felicity!!! Avid Ray shipper that one! Thought Ray was wonderful! Romance is dead!!!!!

Completely random but can I ask if any of you shipped Harry Potter back in the day? I was a mad crazy Harry/Hermione shipper and that ended very badly for me. Olicity is my first ship since my Harry Potter trauma!

Maybe they can end up on Lian Yu getting it on in a cave? Sorry my shippy heart has been traumatised this season (and I haven't even watched all the episodes) so I need something to cheer me up!

Why is EBR never at those comic con things?

I am hoarding episodes of season 4 and watching it when the finale ends. Although I read spoilers every week. Going to have a meltdown if O and F don't end up together! I had the luxury of binge watching the first 3 seasons knowing they were driving off into the sunset. I have never shipped a couple so much and I grew up watching tragic asian series so shipping is in my blood!
