  1. I loved it. Good old wacky, but with enough skepticism to make you wonder. Skinner's line at the end was hilarious. I thought the Dr. Wuzzle bookd were based on dr Suess but maybe it was a Berenstein bears/Dr. Suess mash up. (Hey, it's the Mengle effect in action! )
  2. Yeah,,. there is going to be a ton of x rated fan fiction written after that scene!
  3. Hubba Hubba! I was terrified at the dopplegangers staring. Tapped into my biggest fear of waking up to find someone staring at me. But the end, the ending made my sixteen year old fan girl self squeal. I felt like I was back in my parents house watching it on sunday night. I didn't watch episode 1 and barely understood episode 2 so I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
  4. Any Canadians get a glimpse of the coffee logo on the counter behind Leonard and Amy when doing the ice Experiment? I swear it was a Tim Hortons Logo. Anyone, or do I just need a bigger TV?
  5. Did anyone catch the poster over the fireplace in the sorority house? I'm pretty sure it was a replica of the one hanging in Monica and Rachel's apartment in "Friends"
  6. I'm so sad. I didn't even make it through the episode. I got bored and went and did something else. I loved Katy's role on Mike and Molly, loved the Dad when he was on the Drew Carey Show, but the plots are boring. My thoughts are Katy needs a bit of an edge? I'm sad. Maybe something better will come along for them.
  7. Yeah, no topic up is a bad sign. I really wanted to like it and I'll keep watching it as long as there's nothing else to do. But one day I'll miss it and it will be forgotten quickly. not must see TV at all. I love Katy Mixon and was hoping for more. I can't put my finger on what is missing.
  8. Lots of interesting reading here, folks! I never even flinched at Caputo not saying Poussay's name at the press conference because it was a privacy issue. Next of kin must give permission etc. For someone who likes to go through proper channels, It seemed fitting. Did he say Bayley's name? I keep rooting for Caputo, thinking this time he will do the right thing. Call 911! But, I was watching and knew that Judy King had a phone, Tastey had access to a phone, so did Caputo and even Linda. I was wondering who was going to end up making the call. I was disappointed when MCC itself was able to make the call on their own volition. I also assumed that the guards took Kukudio to medical and said they found her in a stairwell or something. With a dead body in the garden, I figured nobody really had time to follow up. Also, if the FBI were all over the garden (Didn't look like much had been touched. If they are going to look for the body parts, I figured the garden would have been destroyed) Were they still waiting for the FBI 2 days later, when Poussay was killed? I figured the FBI would have gotten wind that there was a fresh body in the cafeteria and done something. I keep reminding myself that this is fiction and some things need not be explained away. My guess for the beginning of next season is Daya looks away from humps, he lunges and another inmate gets shot. I do agree that there are a few too many inmates that we are trying to follow. I'd like to see more of Aleida trying to make it work outside of prison, or at least someone. I really hope that maybe things go a bit better next season. The guards and their power trip is getting tough. I felt, along with Vee in season 2, that the writers drag things out, just a hair longer than you are comfortable with. Then they resolve it, just when you think you are stuck with the villain.
  9. I guess my hopes for watching Greg and Morgan cross over to Cyber are dead. I could barely watch the show, but always hoped to see my old buddies from the original CSI make an appearance. Well, on to find a new show to watch...
  10. Right, and then the boys would all be safe and it would be guaranteed on of the other 5 would have gone home. Maybe the super idol talk blinded them to that fact? Good point.
  11. Man, that was gooood. I was so close to not watching this season of Survivor anymore. I figured it was going to be a predictible outcome with kyle and scot in the final 4. I can watch with glee now.
  12. Wednesdays are the highlight of my week. I turned on Survivor a few minutes in-right to Scot pouring water on the fire. I ended up turning it. It bothered me too much to watch it. I ended up flipping channels between Survivor and and old CSI rerun that I was able to stomach better. I don't understand why everyone gets so scared of the super Idol. Maybe I have it wrong. If they are scared of the Idol being played, they vote for one of their own? This leaves the super idol in play. Scenario two, the others split the votes and the idiots use the super idol causing one of the others to be voted out. It is the same ending, isn't it? I guess everyone is more concerned with keeping their own name from being written down? Great immunity challenge though. That was exciting to watch. I have to admit the tribal council had me on the edge of my seat too. The guys were being so cocky, I was sure they were going to get what they had coming to them. I'm this close to not turning in any more, just reading the recaps and waiting till Scot and Jason are voted out.
  13. Alright, that was no "Cup" of jello she got. She asked for a cup, and I was thinking a cup you get as part of a 6 pack in the grocery store, not a tupperware container of Jello. I also see the pop on the floor beside the bed. Not good, not good at all.
  14. Why didn't Dre go with the lie that the vasectomy failed? It can happen. That would have made things go differently in sitcomland. (I guess that is why they didn't go with that lie or even mention it at all)
  15. I loved it. The breaking of the 4th wall was done well and the Police scene with Arnold recapping the series and its events and the guys saying how unbelievable it ways, was very funny in my book. I did miss Herb and thought the second time with Jake where they all looked at the camera was not necessary. But It seemed Jake lost his marble mouth for this last scene with him. He seemed quite happy.
  16. I have never seen the original so I've got a blank slate. I would watch it again since there's a gap of shows between The Big Bang Theory and something I can find at 9 pm. It was okay, but I did shut it off 10 min early to go shower to be ready for 2.5 men series finale (what can I say, curious to see how it ends). I guess I'm trying to see why the 2 have been friends for so long. They seem to have nothing in common, back in college Oscar was nice to Felix by saying "That guy's my ride/alright" but did they have anything in common. I guess I'd have liked to see why they were friends for so long. I'll give it more time to flesh out things and hopefully make Felix less stereotypically played gay but straight. but anything with Dave Foley in it is a win for me. I also like Lindsay Sloane (name may be wrong) but Big Red! I like her too.
  17. Paula was quite amazing at the very end of the episode. She had a totally "skinny lady" face. I was astounded at the difference. she looked great. Chuck, I"m a little worried about. When he was telling the story about how he met his wife, and they were sitting somewhere with matching t-shirts. He had a 591 ml regular coke sitting in front of him. Didn't someone on here say carbonation is to be avoided and Coke is probably the worst thing you can drink.
  18. I just caught this show for the first time tonight. i didn't mind it. But is it actually old? if so, are there any updates on the patients. I'd like to see tiffany's outcome.
  19. I've never watched Paula's show or clued in that this was her son for the first couple of episodes. He seems so bland though. I miss Jeff Foxworthy when he hosted the American Baking Competition last summer on network TV. He brought a lot more lightheartedness and fun into that show. That is what the host should be doing.
  20. I have mixed feelings about John being gone. I like someone to hate. But he took it very well. The same thing happened with Jeff Kent being kicked off. They seem to be less angry than I'd think. Perhaps it has something to do with their professional sports training. Sort of an It's only a game mentality. But man, he had an idol in his pocket. hehehehe. I like it when that happens. The vitriol the blue team expressed to John after the immunity challenge was a bit surprising to me.
  21. Oh good, I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of Bob N. I just found myself feeling sorry for him every time he stuttered and stuff. I never watched him in much before, so I think that is his schtick, but I don't like watching people who seem to be uncomfortable or stumbling over their words. but that cake falling on the floor, oh did I laugh!
  22. I believe it was 4 years Trevor had been there- since he was 18. My husband and I watched the episodes and were entertained. Julie certainly made herself look bad. The spinach was bad- and it had never happened before- she orders ALL the produce and meat and all that and I believe she would yell at them to use it anyway. If your restaurant is failing and you can't afford to throw out stuff, you have a problem. My favourite was the cross contaminated bread crumbs. I like how Kevin says, "Honestly, I'd never thought of that." It showed the lack of knowledge that EVERYONE in that kitchen had regarding food and running a restaurant. I thought that Steven server was going to step up and cook when he sent back that steak and said it needed a thin red line in it to be considered medium, or whatever. I'm betting not one person employed by that restaurant knew that. It always makes me wonder when I go to a restaurant that is local- what is really going on in the kitchen...
  23. Who dares to castigate the JJ? That is exactly what I want to know!
