Yep. I am really tired of the benson show. They introduce a major new plot point in Rollins and Carisi and literally ignore it for half of the season. If Noah can be in the show for giving benson a personal life, Carisi can at least buy poor Rollins a coffee. I think I spied a baby bump on Rollins in the first few scenes with her. So there may be a decent Rollins/Carisi storyline coming. If she isn’t pregnant, the wardrobe people need to burn that green shirt.

Oh thank you! Giddish’s hair is horrible. It has been driving me crazy. I am catching up on her older seasons and the contrast is staggering. Her hair was so much nicer side parted and you know- brushed. She too busy shagging Carisi to brush it in the mornings?

# 2. I have been saying this since the revival has been announced. I completely agree. This way they can show a healthy relationship and get Carisi to the new show to bring SVU viewers over. Checks all boxes and allows for lazy writing and more Saint Olivia time. I also feel that Olivia / Mariska are being a bit overexposed. Maybe it is my algorithm in my computer but she is always coming in for the great scene and leaving the others to have the crumbs this season. She is featured in OC, was named woman of the year. And is teasing stabler/benson like crazy. I was watching the older episodes season 20ish and still felt that there was more of a workplace vibe and sitting around the table and working together. Doesn’t feel like it this season. Besides if you get Rollins and Carisi together, show me how they are doing. How are they handling their work differences? Are they just casual? Has the guy moved in? ( if so, that would have been a tense time in that household 😁). How is phoebe? Have they seen Kat lately? Is velasco a rat in the department? Have those conversations instead of some OC chat that isn’t warranted. Everything this season so far has seemed to be a fight against the powers that be (although McGrath showed humanity last episode).

I agree with this. I really enjoy Carisi. He grew on me but I knew the new crew except Amaro would be In the background. I am hoping now that the milestone is over they can get back to solving crimes. i think with amaro hardly even dwelling on Rollisi it is a safe bet that Rollins and Carisi are end game and are going to be on the background this season with the romance. Personally I wish there was a bit more of them together.

I fear this will be an Olivia love fest with a thin cast there just to bolster her career achievements. There usually is a B plot and I am trying to figure out if there will even be a B plot at all. All I can come up with is Carisi is jealous of Amaro coming back. That is the only kind of subplot I can think of that is quick, doesn’t detract from Olivia and won’t need any extra cast members since they seem to be out of them.

This is exactly what I am thinking. They will draw out the disclosure until law and order is ready for next season and Carisi will move over there to get viewers to watch. Of course there will be fallout because what is the point of waiting to disclose if it is t going to be a mess

I am not fond of the crossovers with OC. Stabler and his method of justice isn’t my gig. I like my crime of the week with the odd serial killer thrown in. I just started watching again last year and am piecing things together through season 17-19 now. I know of Rollins backstory but I am happy with her and Carisi together and liked their interaction in the elevator. Enough to tell us they are happy together. I am guessing the powers that be are going to be doing some weird foreshadowing with Olivia and Elliott and Rollisi. Like Rollins will come in with disclosure papers just after Olivia and Elliott have some tense meeting. And so on. I hope Rollisi are end game and there is no real drama with them. I have always liked the snippets of conversation the characters have on the way to the crime that are unrelated but give you a glimpse into their lives. The Liv/Fin lunch was pretty funny. I never watched the 2 hour OC. Can’t be bothered. Saw what I needed to piece together online. Thanks for those who update Twitter.

I am A fan of SVU now. Stopped watching it before stabler left and picked it up on and off in reruns the last year or two. I am enjoying it, but I prefer the monster of the week and a little romance as a distraction to a heavy episode. I love Rollisi and I really want it to work. They are good together and I hope they don’t ruin it by doing the on and off thing. I hate that when writers do that. I enjoyed the Rollisi scenes but didn’t find them really “spicy”. Carisi finally gets the girl he has been pining for and when she asks he has a passive “seems to be” shrug. Even when she asked about “tomorrow”. He didn’t even smile at her. If I can see them flirting and working - the hotel room quip was good. I hope it just becomes an accepted thing that they are married and have some personal/ professional disagreements. When I returned to watching SVU i saw the episode when Carisi was holding the baby when Rollins was watching that bachelorette type show. I had to go to the internet to figure out if they were together. That is what I want -subtle

While I loved the jokes, I felt the premise has been done too many times before. Main characters stuck in an elevator, someone giving birth in an unplanned place, father racing to get to the birth, all have been done before. But I feel that they really made the most out of the jokes and the situations within the story. Rosa was hilarious. I wished Amy had said she had been having contractions all day and just ignored them. Births typically take a long time, especially first time births. I know people come out of the woodwork stating they had their baby from start to finish in 3 hours (I know someone), but typically first births take longer.

I laughed so much at this episode. Holy and Rosa were killing it. I saw the pregnancy line at the end coming, but not Boyle’s line! Hilarious!

No kidding! I don’t think I looked at Amy’s face the entire episode. I was watching how they disguised the bump. Baby peraltiago soon!

Going back to the Enabling comments. Wouldn't it have been interesting to see the Therapists and nutritionist work with the enablers, and give them tools to resist Lisa? I'd like to see a story how the enablers can be empowered to stop the 600 lb person from running their lives. Teach them to walk away, leave her in bed and bring her an apple instead of a pizza (but duck and cover as they run out the bedroom door)
