  1. I didn't even know that about Adrienne's chef, lol. I thought the accusation about selling stories about Adrienne was quashed because the tabloid came out and confirmed that LVP wasn't their source. I didn't realize that the issue may have been 'sorted' through other means like the actual culprit may have been discovered. I can't say I know much about this so I would I have to google it to comment further. I agree about Kyle not being a horrible person...no more horrible that the large majority of women that end up on the RH franchise. She has her good qualities as well and I do agree that there is insecurity when it comes to her relationship with LVP that triggers her...same with her relationship with Kim. I've said for a long time now that her relationship with both women is unhealthy because it never stays in a positive space for long periods of time.
  2. Scott had already calmed down considerably by the time he and Kourtney had their last attempt at making their relationship work. He gave up a lot of his partying ways, he kind of refocused his attention after losing both his parents just months apart. Scott has been making positive strides for a long time but I think the reason it didn't work with Kourtney is because she couldn't get over the person he used to be and became controlling to an extent. He'd have a drink, he 'd have a late night with friends or go to a club and while he wasn't coming home belligerently drunk, or laying in bed all day and ignoring the kids because he was hungover, for Kourtney, it was seeing him engage in those familiar activities that made her paranoid and assumed that it was a gateway for things to spiral out of control like it would in the past. The show also focused on Scott's past ways as related to addiction but it seems that it was more out of him being young, cocky and stupid. If Scott ends up with anyone other than Kourtney, they should be thankful because she took the lumps for a decade trying to figure shit out with Scott and in the end, it helped produce a better version of himself that another woman can appreciate.
  3. Okay, I can agree that based on facts, punitive may be the more appropriate word. I used the term vindictive with an open mind that a lack of evidence with respect to the various accusations lobbed at LVP doesn't mean that the accusations aren't true. If the accusations about the Mauricio tabloids and encouraging Rinna to talk about the Manchausen rumour she heard on screen are true, those are two examples that I would certainly call out as vindictive if it's true.
  4. I 100% agree about that. LVP showed leniency because of an existing relationship. She admitted to breaking protocol for her friends - a protocol that is put in place by shelters in the best interests of the animals. This entire thing makes no one look good.
  5. Having watched every season of this show, I can safely say that I've spotted the behaviours in Kyle since season 1. When it comes to vindictiveness, she's not that much different than LVP.
  6. Agree to disagree then. Kyle has a tendency to pull of bullish tactics so perhaps I'm more inclined to see her behaviour in much the same light.
  7. Kyle was most definitely a bully when confronting LVP. Bullying can be threats, intimidation or coercion. Kyle confronted LVP with information, trying to coerce her to admit to something that LVP was adamantly denying and she used the strength in numbers to intimidate a confession out of LVP - 'we all believe this, so just own up to it'. Seems to literally fit the definition of a bullying tactic. However, I do agree that Dorit's discussion with LVP was not bullying, and also throwing it out there, that despite Teddi confronting LVP in front of the group, I don't think her approach was bullying either. I still maintain that I do believe that at the very least, LVP had knowledge of Blizzard and Teddi's shenanigans and lied about knowing anything to avoid being accused of being the mastermind but it happened anyway. The passive and flippant way she dealt with Teddi not believing her denials to me came across like someone not wanting to push the issue and risk exposing themselves. Her reaction to the Radar Online story makes me think that she didn't actually do that. And she has focused her attention on the women accusing her of leaking the story because of the two accusations, that's the one that isn't true so if she keeps pushing that and adamantly denying it, she is not risking exposing anything by doing so. Of course this is just my theory but years of observing LVP, when she's flippant and flustered, my instincts tell me that is her tell for when she's lying or withholding information.
  8. Dorit also acknowledged that she hadn't thoroughly reviewed the contract. So what does it mean to me that Dorit can't recall signing a contract? Absolutely nothing. Dorit did take a dog though so either way, I see LVP's silence as her measuring the situation because either way, the question is putting the onus on her to answer for her decisions as the owner of the Centre. Friend or not, Dorit took a dog home so if Dorit wasn't made to sign a contract, that's irresponsible on VPD's part. On the flipside, if there was a contract, there's no way Dorit complied with the stipulations in the contract and so friend or not, the penalty should have applied, ESPECIALLY in light of the fact that the dog ended up at a different shelter, therefore, turns out that Dorit's assurances in that phone call were bullshit. As for the approval - unless the contract stipulated that the Centre had to be notified within x amount of days of giving the pet away to someone else, Dorit violated the contract and could still be legally liable to pay the penalty. And all that said, in no sense of the word was there an "approval". An approval requires prior consent. Giving the dog away and then telling LVP about is not seeking permission or approval, it is simply an act of notifying. LVP could either accept the information provided by Dorit as being the truth and that the dog was in a good home or she could raise hell and demand the dog be returned. She chose to accept the work Dorit had done to find the dog a new home and left it alone up until the point where the dog ended up in another person's shelter.
  9. LVP stated there was a contract with the fines stipulated in the contract. Dorit admitted that she did not thoroughly read the contract. What is your basis for questioning whether a contract for the adoption existed? And the fine is totally unrelated to whether she dumped the dog or not. I don't know the specifics of Vanderpump Dogs contract, but most who have a penalty stipulated in their contract either require written permission by the Centre if the new owner wants to give away or sell the animal to another person OR they would have a strict return policy to the Centre itself. Either way, Dorit violated a legally binding contract and the only 'probably' of why she wasn't fined was solely to do with the discretion of the owner of the Centre and that's it. If it was some random shelter and Dorit had no ties to the owner, it's likely that the penalty would have been applied no matter what story she gave AFTER THE FACT of giving the dog away.
  10. So much of this. The group support on the issue does seem contrived because there is a lack of evidence to support their claims so it doesn't make sense why the lot of them are banding together when the issue only involved 2 of the 5 women who are being very vocal about it. It seems they're wholly relying on their numbers to establish what the truth is in the face of no evidence available. You can have no proof of something and still articulate what you feel is the truth without misrepresenting your opinion as facts. That is where these ladies always lose, time and time again. They argue the wrong point. I think a person loses credibility when they speak matter-of-factly about things they have no real proof of. Speaking in your feelings and acknowledging they are simply your feelings carries far more weight than trying to pass your feelings off as an equivalent to facts.
  11. Olsen Twins are a different breed. They maximized their fame when younger, made smart investments, saved money and built businesses that don't even rely on their names or faces to make money. They don't even use social media to promote themselves. The Kardashian business model IS their name and faces, not their products. They couldn't pull off what the Olsen Twins have pulled off and they wouldn't want to because the Kardashians want the fame and money more than the success while the Olsen Twins are motivated by the opposite. Even without the show, the Kardashians have built up such a huge online following that they will still make money, however, the show feeds their vanity, and while people have caught on to their manipulations to keep themselves relevant, the show does provide them the ability to control their narrative through the show.
  12. Wouldn't you question the intelligence of anyone that looked at Brielle at this moment and thought she was a good potential spouse? lol.
  13. PK was eating with chopsticks so they definitely had chopsticks available. I'm not judging her for it, I just thought it was hilarious that she was using a knife and fork and the camera panned an up close shot of her cutting into it, lol.
  14. In this universe. The range for millennials starts in the early 80s, most researchers pinpoint it to 1981 or 1982. Teddi was born in 1981 so by many studies done to date, her birth year would be included. Generalizing an entire generation of people isn't anything new. It seems like every generation has to take their lumps. The same way Gen X complain about Millennials, Millennials complain about Gen Z....and Baby Boomers complained about Gen X. If you're in at least your mid-twenties, there's a good chance you or someone you know has had the words 'kids today' slip out of their mouth, lol.
  15. Since when did it become a thing to suggest that loyalty in friendship is believing the worst of your friends and still wanting to be friends with them anyway? lol. I cannot wrap my head around Kyle and Dorit wanting to sort things out with LVP if they truly believe that she would do these kinds of things. I sure as fuck wouldn't want to be friends with anyone who I, in my heart, felt would manipulate me and our friendship for their own benefit and worse, be willing to throw me under the bus for any reason. I think Kyle is very genuine with her children and family but I also think that a very hands-on approach is a subconscious way to soothe her own anxiety over what her importance is in her family and in her relationships in general. I think she values feeling needed and so while she is nurturing her family, I wonder if she realizes that she probably gains more from it than they do. Ken saying Lisa never lies...oh come on. Not a single woman on this show can claim they never lie because they've all been caught on camera doing it at one point or another. What a stupid thing to say. Also, Lisa was eating sashimi with a knife and fork, LOL. I don't know the timeline of Ken, Lisa and PK's friendship but it was very obvious that PK felt the most invested in sorting things out.
  16. I still think it's the former. Sandoval is doing what has always been done. On any given season, there's an asshole that pisses off the majority of the group and gets iced out from certain events, but then you have the one 'friend' that doesn't hate that asshole and they end up being the middle man that opens the door for the asshole to film scenes with all the people that hate them. Jax has been the asshole for several seasons. Stassi has been the asshole for at least a couple of seasons. Scheana has been the 'asshole' but I put that in quotations because usually she's iced out because the others are acting like mean girls. Kristen has been the asshole. And they have all latched on to that one or two friends that were willing to film with them and get them into group events. It seems like it's the rest of the cast flipping the script on Sandoval and deciding to pull strings behind the scenes to get what they want and Sandoval doesn't understand why any of it is a big deal.
  17. Kristen has shed tears, has apologized repeatedly and has even attempted to sit down with LVP and broker a truce between the two of them. She has done more than Stassi and Jax have ever done in trying to mend fences with LVP. The only person that genuinely grovels is James. Based on your various posts, it seems you like to think of LVP has the devil incarnate or something but I'm inclined to think that not everything boils down to LVP being a horrible human being. I had googled the Kristen/LVP situation right after responding to the other poster and it seems that in older interviews, Kristen says that she and LVP's personalities always clashed so as I mentioned previously, it seems that Kristen's rope is so short because LVP doesn't have a personal affinity for her. LVP has mentioned on several different occasions having a soft spot for Stassi, Jax, and James for various reasons which would explain why she has 'forgiven' them yet still gives Kristen the cold shoulder even after all these years.
  18. Stassi was on WHHL talking about how grossed she was about 50's comments. That $1M was owed to him for the past 6 years...do you think it's any coincidence that he's started coming for collections after Randall's fiancee is seen on TV bragging about how she fucks and sucks for acting parts, cars and private jets? If you living that kind of life and spending that kind of cash, you better be doing so after you've repaid your money to me. And if Lala wants to continue talking about her relationship like that and making comments about even if she and Randall don't last, she'll still be flying in private jets and buying Gucci slides so why should anyone not think she's a gold digger? And just because she may appear to have genuine feelings for Randall doesn't mean she isn't a gold digger. His wealth is what got her in bed and until she lives with any kind of humility, I'm inclined to believe that his wealth is what keeps her there. Does she love him enough to stick around if he lost most of his money and name? The fact that he threatens their relationship by taking away her Gucci slides makes me think even he knows that his money is the power in the relationship and he's used it to remind Lala of her place.
  19. Reagan's issue with Brittany makes her sound like a dumbass. She was technically there before Brittany came on the scene but she expected that Brittany would mentor her so that the two of them could raise the ranks together within Uncommon James. She keeps saying that Brittany chose to be loyal to the company over their friendship. That makes it seem like Brittany can't do both...which, I mean, why not? Also, how did Brittany make a 'choice' if you never told her that wanted her to mentor you? Brittany never knew that was what Reagan had wanted and expected so she didn't choose anything over their friendship. Brittany had no idea that working hard and advancing her own career was ever putting their friendship in jeopardy. It doesn't seem like Brittany was stepping over Reagan in order to get ahead.
  20. I watched the special too and I thought it was cute. There was drama but nothing that seemed like it was trying too hard. I get her being upset about the offer on the Buckhead house. While she liked certain aspects of the home, she made it clear enough that it was a party home, not a family home. I get not wanting to move 9 months into your pregnancy or soon after your baby is born but I think a fair compromise is for both of them to look for a family home together that they can both agree on and once that's done, they both sell their homes. I did get a good laugh at her crying over needing the help because she can't do anything because she's too big and can barely walk up two stairs without getting winded...meanwhile she just saw her run up the damn stairs, big belly and all, lol. Dennis' mom looks like she's a meddler but I thought it was a good sign that he told his mom that she was overstepping her boundaries when speaking on his and Porsha's relationship. Her baby shower looked beautiful. Turned out much better than her gender reveal, lol.
  21. Have at it, lol.
  22. Kristen was a terrible employee (much like the rest of them except for Scheana). Kristen brought her personal issues into the workplace, would drink on the job and would behave belligerently (again, much like everyone else except for Scheana). Kristen got so pissed off one day (I think it was about Sandoval and Ariana) and when the manager or business partner tried to calm her down and get her to the leave the restaurant, Kristen told her to suck a d*** and then LVP eventually fired her over the incident. This was years ago and though Kristen has been apologetic, for whatever reason, LVP still seems to harbour a dislike for Kristen meanwhile she has forgiven and brought the likes of Stassi, Jax and James back into the folds of her good graces even though they were always fucking up. Maybe LVP never really had an affinity for Kristen the way she does the others, and so she doesn't give her the same leeway but if that's the case, then it's at the point where LVP should just own that rather than act like Kristen is exactly the same person she was years ago. Kristen is still crazy but she's not the same level of crazy she was years back.
  23. Why is it such a common misconception that white privilege suggests that white people don't suffer hardships? At the root of it, white privilege isn't intended to diminish the hardships that any white person may face, but to acknowledge that their hardships are not in any way related to the colour of their skin, unlike other races who deal with explicit and systematic racism. You don't need to be ashamed or apologetic for being white in order to acknowledge that.
  24. I thought Ariana was out of line for addressing LVP about the vacation comment. It wasn't her place to speak and she wasn't asked to. She didn't do it to defend her boyfriend, she did it to quench her own need to confront LVP because of her own 'values'. I thought the scene of her speaking with Sandoval, he was low key trying to get her to not speak to LVP about it (and truthfully, that should have been either Tom addressing it) but she brushed him off quickly because she was set on doing what she wanted. She make it seem like it was about defending her boyfriend but last episode she made it about herself - she said something to the effect that LVP made them sound like idiots and it made her look like an idiot by extension because she was dating Sandoval. So I'm not buying her supposed altruism. Scheana is such a mess...a hilarious mess. Her level of cringe is so high that it breaks the metre, lol. Some helpful love advice - don't try to manipulate people into loving and/or committing to you because when it blows up in your face, you only have yourself to blame. As horrible as James can be, it says a lot that I have to ask this question - what does he see in Racquel? She seems to be an emotional zombie when they're together. Maybe Stassi's mean girl antics were something developed from seeing her mother's behaviour.
  25. Ninja was just embarrassing. Even if they had lost the competition, the way she behaved was horrible and the berating way she spoke to Turbo despite him repeatedly telling her that he tried his best, it was just sad to watch. I don't think that Ninja felt guilt for how she made Turbo feel. I think she felt guilt because how she ended up looking after all the shit she said to him, turns out that he did do enough to earn both of them spots in the tribunal. Day's commentary was everything, lol. She's worth her spot on the show just for her confessionals. Ninja can cry all she wants. She brought that on herself. She's learning the hard way that acting like a shitty person can have consequences. There are tons of people who could have gone through that same experience and not acted like a fucking lunatic on someone. She isn't owed forgiveness. I honestly think Turbo sees accepting an apology as a positive sign for moving forward with someone but I think he's seen enough to not trust Ninja and therefore there is no moving forward with her. Instead of being fake, he's willing to risk making an enemy in the game because he's relying solely on his skills and competitiveness to win and not politicking. Dee should STFU and mind her business. It shouldn't have been okay for Ninja to scream and berate Turbo but she let that go on just fine. The moment he pushed back, she jumped in...though she didn't really want to get involved. Yeah, okay. Georgia is an unassuming competitor. Even though she's had a solid showing so far in this game, it still surprises me to see how well she competes in many of these challenges. If I recall correctly, Kyle isn't great at puzzles and he's physically banged up at this point so I don't think there's any situation he could walk into where he would be favoured to win. It seems like the writing is on the wall. Kyle is liking going in and if he does, I don't think it matters who his opponent is. I will be very surprised if he returns to the house.
