  1. lol same! I hope she addresses it in a future episode. 100% that was one of my favorite Braunwyn scenes.
  2. Yes, that would have been perfect. Agree, I see both sides of the debate. It could have been harmless texting, but I can see talking to a friend about it. Like, hey Sean texted me this. Does it sound a little too familiar/friendly to you? I don't like to jump to negative conclusions about people based on a few sentence and a wink, but so many of us women have experienced men who start out just a little too friendly where we dismiss it, and suddenly they're hitting on you. However, I personally would never do this on camera because I wouldn't want to spread rumors over nothing. I'd hate for awkward texts of mine to be made public if I meant zero harm. I would never speak to my friend's father like that, but as much as I didn't love the language, I agree that I thought she was just trying to be playful and he enjoyed the attention he got from this much younger pretty woman. My favorite thing about Kelly is how she is with Jolie. I also noticed she makes a point to be warm to these women's parents. She was very friendly when she met Parry.
  3. I wish Jeana lasted on the show longer. I find her more interesting than Vicki and Tamra. I believe Shannon about not saying Gina's house was sad. She has never been cruel about anyone.
  4. I thought it was refreshing! I feel the same when they say they were Housewives fans. So many cast members throughout the years act like they're so above the show and the other women. Thank you! I get if you'e naturally more reserved and shy some alcohol can get you to loosen up a bit, but I don't enjoy the company of drunk people nor ever had interest in drinking at all.
  5. I'm so grateful for the new job I'll begin soon.
  6. Yes! I've seen those women. Some of them act like they're persecuted because they're happy being stay-at-home moms and blame feminism. I know there are extremists in every movement and there are always jerks, but come on. I see nothing wrong with enjoying homemaking and wanting to stay home with your kids. But let's not romanticize all things traditional, pretend that lifestyle is practical for everyone in this economy, nor put down women who have careers they're passionate about or put down stay-at-home dads. There is this pretty girl on YouTube who literally admitted to sneaking in some of her dangerous views after giving a cookie recipe or whatever. I think these influencers can be very dangerous because they can initially come across as stuff parents would rather their kids watch over Kardashians and whatnot, but their looks can be deceiving.
  7. Saying "I want to be a wife" instead of "I want to be married." I don't mind saying you want to be a wife now and then, but when it's always said rather than wanting to be married, it sounds like you're more interested in a title than the actual marriage to me.
  8. I personally find body shaming more icky than age shaming. I can see teasing about someone's age, but not body. I could see how both are hurtful though. I used to have a friend only 3-4 years younger than men who'd CONSTANTLY tease me about being old. It got old. I don't think she meant it to be mean. She normally gave me compliments, called me beautiful, etc. But sometimes it got to me being made out to be the grandma of the group even if I knew our age gap was small. My sister is also a few years younger than me, and so our some of my other friends. I think part of what makes the body comments more hurtful is the fact we all know we only get older in time. The older I get, the more I try to avoid even joking about anyone being old. So many of us, especially women, feel old way before we ever are. I think there is a difference between Emily's jokes and the way Kelly will grab a woman's hair and say it looks like shit or they need to get on hormones. Emily doesn't have that vicious side. The meanest thing she's done imo is pushing Shane to reveal whether or not he passed the bar in front of everyone. I thought the only woman who saw menstruating as a flex was Brandi Glanville. I didn't realize there were other women/Housewives like that, so silly.
  9. Yes, it's like she's a split personality. She can be sweet, likable, charming, and then watch out. Yes, I remember that too. I really liked that scene and seeing her with Jolie in general. I do think Kelly seems like a great mom. Jolie is a lovely girl.
  10. I'm not sure I know of any woman as proud of her breasts as Tamra. I know Terri is a surgeon who works on breasts, but I was still floored Vicki showed her breasts to her friend's husband. To me that was more inappropriate than anything Braunwyn did. These people are all so weird.
  11. I like Emily a lot, but I thought that was messed up too. I totally understood why Shane wasn't having it.
  12. I've seen many posts on the forum about Kelly being one of the nicest on the show, that she just needs therapy. There have been a lot of episodes I've found her likable, but I've often scratched my head over all the positive posts about her. My opinion about her is somewhere between the Kelly fans and yours. No, I don't think she's merely a sweet, misunderstood sweetheart. She can be quite nasty. Maybe my Jersey memory is rusty, but Danielle gave me very bad vibes. She seemed like she could be much more hurtful than a bad temper and immature "you're ugly" insults. I didn't blame Kelly for being upset over the rumors spread about her. They were extremely damaging ones. I still wish she'd lay off all the pig insults. Vicki isn't my favorite, but I thought it was cruel when Slade went after her looks, and it's cruel when Kelly does it too, even if it's retaliatory. Kelly also has a pattern of going after looks-pig, ugly, hair on the chin, fat-shaming, etc. Kelly is outwardly beautiful and maybe never had an awkward stage so she doesn't get how hurtful comments on one's appearance can be. No, it's not as damaging as the drugs or train, but she could defend herself better.
  13. The culture there is a lot more conservative than California, so it makes sense there are less Housewives like Tamra, Braunwyn, Erika, Brandi G, etc.
  14. I tried to get into Vanderpump Rules when it was brand-new and couldn't. Then when I'd try watching it again, it was Lala that turned me off from it. I didn't even watch much, but I saw vulgar things come out of her mouth, going topless knowing it made others uncomfortable, fat-shaming, being aggressive, etc. She came across as very Girls Gone Wild meets mean girl. She even made the Housewives look classy. I don't care what goes in other people's bedrooms to slut shame for that, but can we all agree Lala should be shamed for her behavior? I don't think people would make what's considered "slut shaming" jokes about Katie because she doesn't brag about "eating cookies and giving bjs" to get stuff. The stuff Lala says is trashy. I don't care if my friend has many casual sex partners, so long as she is safe. I would care if my friend spoke like Lala. I'm still in the early seasons of my binge, so perhaps my opinion of Lala will change when I see more, but I think I like the original cast better.
  15. Yes! Eddie was so professional. I can see clients feeling safe being vulnerable about their weights and body issues with him. Shannon's trainer was so insensitive. I would have never returned to him. I'm the opposite of Emily. I am also on the taller side, but my body structure just doesn't care extra weight well. I've told myself my body type is a blessing in disguise because it keeps me healthy. Emily carries everything so evenly. I'm sure most people just see a very beautiful, curvy tall woman, but I can understand how she feels being in OC and on RHOC next to tiny women like Tamra, not to mention her husband is little. Emily said she never had issues with her weight until she got cruel comments online. That leads me to believe for any flaws, it doesn't sound like Shane ever makes Emily feel bad for not being a size 2. It's got to hurt a lot more when coming from your partner. I think that's part of why Shannon's weight gain was so devastating-David fat-shamed her.
  16. Love the title of the thread! I'm watching Kenya's first season. Her mother abandoning her is heartbreaking. I thought she was rough with how she spoke to the girl at the modeling audition. I agree that swimsuit bottoms should cover more, but still. Portia should have gotten Kenya's title right, but I am not sure if most people know the difference between Miss America and Miss USA. She sure is friendly with Apollo. I get the drooling, I do. Apollo is one of the most handsome husbands in the franchise, but the flirting is too much imo.
  17. Eddie seems like such a nice guy. I've wondered if he is either with Tamra because she is more normal in reality or it's an opposites attract situation.
  18. lol! Lydia said herself she made a funny looking man. Her brother however is CUTE! 😍
  19. I'm relieved Kelly will be fired. I'm binging and on season 14. She can be very likable but when he is angry, she is MEAN. I'm on season 14 right now, and it's glow-up Shannon. She lost a lot of weight and had a nonsurgical face lift. She looks fantastic and is fun.
  20. I'm in the middle of season 14 and like Emily so far. She's one of the classier Housewives who've been on RHOC in recent times. Her life is interesting. She seems to actually care about her friends. She knew about Gina's husband having an affair but didn't gossip about it. She is a breath of fresh air so far. I do find her husband amusing.
  21. So, already liking Braunwyn less. The episode I just watched, she got her breast out at the dinner table, and no it wasn't to nurse one of her dozen kids, just to prove it was still lactating.
  22. 100% I'm not a mom but know all the benefits of breastfeeding. I'd personally even be discreet about that on camera, but I'd get a lactating breast at a dinner table if it were to feed a baby, not your coworker trying to get milk out. You know it's gotten crazy when even Tamra is in disbelief. Tamra is in wicked good shape, but would it kill her to keep some clothes on? I generally am of the belief to dress for your body, not your age. I think booty shorts are trashy if you're 20, and if you have banging legs at 60, why not wear a miniskirt? I wouldn't at all see a problem with any of them rocking a skimpy swimsuit. You work hard at Cut Fitness? Enjoy sharing the results! There is a way to do it that isn't trashy. But the whole Girls Gone Wild type shenanigans these women have really are more embarrassing when they're of a particular age and have kids and even grandchildren who will hear about this, maybe see it themselves. I think that may have been why Gina was uncomfortable Tamra or Braunwynn going topless. It's one thing when it's truly just the girls. It's another with a camera crew that surely includes men and knowing this will be on television!
  23. I wondered if I spoke too soon when @Baltimore Betty gave me an LOL. Does she get as bad as Kelly and Vicki?
  24. I was more critical of her several years ago. I know Lisa's humor can be mean at times, but my gosh, the other BH ladies can jut be so nasty. Lisa is like a saint in comparison to someone like Erika. Lisa initially reminded me a bit of Paris Hilton with all the pink and cute puppies. The fact she's so over the top does make her good TV. I like to see people having fun, and with her, we do get a lot of fun and not just poor little rich girl, which there is a lot of on Bravo.
  25. Seriously, how long are they going to tease Ron showing up?
