  1. Maria Menounos once said the reason she didn't dream of having a wedding like so many women do is because she gets to doll up like a princess all the time for her job. I'm surprised Liz Taylor still got so much joy out of being a bride since she got to dress up even more glamorously as an Old Hollywood movie star.
  2. I was very team Candiace last season. My initial impression was that she is adorable, and I also like Chris. I know she wasn't an angel then either, but I didn't think she deserved to be attacked by Monique whatsoever. I thought the way she was constantly shamed for her mother helping support her financially was wrong. I totally understood why she was also hurt by Karen and Ashley. I was really disappointed in her this episode though. I'm not someone who thinks motherhood or pregnancy make a woman untouchable. If you are engaging in mess, expect messiness back, and I've been honest that I could do with less Ashley breastfeeding and pumping scenes. I know some of it is just reality of a baby mom, but she seems attention seeking with it. Generally speaking, Ashley's never been my favorite Housewife. I think she can be mean and insensitive too, and her husband creeps me out. Some of the other women may have partners who are "cheater, cheater pumpkin eaters," but he's the only one who is predatory. I agree with the posters that there should be way more concern about Ashley being with Michael Darby than say Robyn with Juan, which Ashley was oh so concerned about. That said, I thought it was cruel of Candiace to body shame not just any woman, but a woman who literally just had a baby, and the way she kept talking about Ashley's breast milk with this disgust was bizarre. It's like she wanted to shame her for lactating or something. I wonder if she gets grossed out by cow milk? Women's bodies change when they have babies Candiace. Hips expand. Stretch marks happen. Even the tiniest women like you sometimes explode, and women's bodies were also designed to feed babies. I'm not a mother, but like most adults, know all of this. She is so immature. I know Candiace isn't the first nor last Housewife to mock another Housewife's appearance, but she is the only one who seems to make a point to do it.
  3. I could see that with Robyn and Juan. Robyn is a physically pretty woman, but you're right, she isn't the most feminine. That makes me sad for Wendy. It would be a dealbreaker for me to be with a man who followed a bunch of scantily clad models with crazy proportions. Not cute, not respectful. Leave that stuff for young single guys, not a grown man with a wife kids.
  4. Gizelle and Karen have had somewhat of a frenemy relationship for the seasons leading up to this one. Wasn't Karen one of the ladies who wanted to bring Sherman's ex around to film and talked about how gorgeous she was? My friends would never pull that crap. And then Gizelle talked about how Ray wanted to lick Erika Liles everywhere. That was a very cruel thing to say too. I'm not sure how their friendship got so ugly in the first place. I don't know if there is any truth to this hot box and Sing Sing stuff. Gizelle didn't have a strong reaction so that leads me to believe perhaps not. She could also be a better actress than some of the professional actress Housewives. But either way, that is taking it to a new low imo, and I am a Karen fan. I thought she was above stuff like that. I didn't know Monique had anything to do with it.
  5. I didn't rewatch the scene myself, but I also heard it seemed like Sutton tried to find a pause to interrupt a few times before she did.
  6. I'm also not opposed to giving Boz another season. I don't love her constantly siding with Dorit and getting on to the other women, but in her defense she isn't aggressive or cruel the way say Diana or Carlton were. I was relived when neither one of them got a second season. What I don't understand is that Boz is this intelligent, successful business woman, but she doesn't seem to be playing the Housewives game very well. Wouldn't she think she needs at least one more ally other than Dorit? If she's just along for the ride and doesn't care for the others, I get it. But if she wants to stay on the show, she will need more friends to film with. I think so. I wonder if one reason Boz is taking to Dorit is because Dorit is such a talker and will pour her heart out to a new coworker. Kyle has been friendly to Boz but kept it light. I don't think one attitude is better than the other. Their personalities are just different.
  7. I died. Gizelle can be hilarious.
  8. Yeah Wendy is either nonstop four degrees or nonstop here are my double Ds. Dr. Wendy and fans of the show have thought perhaps Gizelle's fashion choices are a result of lack of effort because of her beauty, "pretty girl syndrome." When I think of a pretty girl not having to try, I don't think of bold choices or expensive designer pieces. I don't know if Gizelle is a lover of fashion or not, but she does seem to try. If she truly didn't try and just wore very simple clothes, she'd look way better than she does in stuff like above. Her face is a work of art.
  9. I think it's because while Garcelle can be shady, she isn't cruel or a mean girl. The same can't be said for some of the others. Yeah, I think Dorit is a beautiful woman who can be charming, but she has the worst sense of humor of all of them. I obviously enjoy Garcelle and Sutton, and they both regularly make me laugh. Kyle does the funniest impressions. Even Erika can give a funny talking head. Dorit's idea of joking is that weirdness with the purse and calling Camille the c word. Heck, even taking it back several seasons, Dorit also claimed to be joking when she gifted Erika underwear as a a joke and said "we've all seen your pretty little puss now." Why are her "jokes" always mean? I'm binging Potomac right now, and I think one reason I enjoy it so much is because the women on it can be so funny.
  10. There have been a lot of husbands/partners on Bravo I do not care for. But two of the pickers I'm most perplexed by are Cynthia's and RHOP Gizelle's. They are two of the most stunningly beautiful women I've ever seen, so it's especially puzzling why they waste their time with the men that they do, especially Cynthia, who seems beautiful on the inside as well.
  11. So true, it's that entitled attitude again-they see themselves as above normal jobs. I know fashion is Dorit's passion, and ideally, that would be how she'd make a living. I wish we could all do what we love every day. But it's a very, very difficult industry to succeed in. Dorit is a beautiful woman, looks incredible for any age but especially nearly 50, and she can dress really cute when she chills on the designer logos. There are other things she could do with al that other than Housewives or snagging a rich guy. I think if Dorit doesn't want to work in an office or retail or something like that, she could probably expand her influencing career. I could see her doing well on YouTube. She could share her skin care secrets. What does she do to stay looking so fabulous? She could do makeup tutorials. She could do fashion videos-hauls, makeovers, etc. She could do cute videos with her kids. She's apparently a wonderful cook, she could show her favorite recipes. She could dish Housewives tea. I could go on and on.
  12. Reminds me a bit of Lala and Ariana.
  13. Yeah, like I said in my other post, I get the whole "my own home" thing to a point, but not only was Dorit incredibly rude as the host, all the cast and the audience know Sutton only went to Dorit's house because that is basically her office for that day of work! It's a little icky to keep repeating my home, my home, how dare she. I get that Dorit is trying harder than ever to keep her job, but it just seems so unnecessary to go in THAT hot at Sutton. Sutton's worst crime is being insensitive towards Dorit, but it's always been Dorit who's been the aggressor imo. People sometimes don't get why Sutton and Garcelle don't always buy what Dorit is selling and can come across as cold towards her problems, but if you've watched previous seasons, it all makes sense. Dorit has always had an aggressive side. She just never came across too terrible because the behavior of other cast members was often worse (Rinna, Erika, Diana, sometimes Teddi or Kyle). I'm also glad others agree about the purse. We've all had or at least seen playful exchanges of wanting one another's belongings, but Dorit wasn't coming from a playful place. It was so awkward and bizarre. Agree. PK can be funny, and the Kemsley children are adorable. But I just never thought aww when I watched PK and Dorit. I have always enjoyed Kyle's wife and mother scenes. She and Mauricio did build a great life together, seemed to genuinely love each other, and both appear to be hands-on parents. Despite her unusual Hollywood upbringing, Kyle's family always appeared the most normal to me-not married to a way older dude, children were not sent to boarding school or had any scandals, just a typical family that happened to be in Beverly Hills. Yes! I've thought this about both Dorit and Erika. I don't know if it's because they're beautiful women, but they seem to think they're owed the world for existing. Other people's time matters, and you have no right to live like a princess when you or your husband owe other people money.
  14. Genuine slip-ups can be funny, but I generally don't love dumb blonde style of humor. Kathy can have a good delivery sometimes, but other times she tries too hard imo.
  15. I know online dating is something almost everyone does these days, but I still can't picture a stunningly beautiful woman like Gizelle on anything but maybe Raya. Agreed. I'm not a fan of Jamal and think Gizelle could do so much better. But like you said, he is the father of Gizelle's young daughters and did nothing to Monique, nor is he a Housewife. I thought it was wrong to share his personal texts. Agree. It's bizarre for someone to get offended by being told their baby looks like their partner. Michael's behavior makes him creepy, and I get that he's not a young stud people would picture Ashley with. But he's really not this ugly guy with bad features. Baby Dean may not look like Ashley (yet anyway), but he is adorable. Exactly! That's why I thought it was ridiculous for Ashley to constantly poke Candiace about her mama's house over and over again when a creepy old man bankrolled her life. I also think it's icky when women like Monique look down upon women who "can't keep a man" or who haven't had kids. Way to alienate a lot of Bravo fans. A lot of viewers who watch Housewives are not housewives.
  16. Seriously, what a punk. I also think Juan is too nice to call out Michael's creepiness. Ashley is not my favorite, but I thought this too. Michael does help support Ashley's mother (or did), but Ashley's lifestyle isn't anything like what you'd expect for her to be with someone old enough to be her dad. I would expect a pretty young woman like her to either be with an attractive man around her age (someone like a Juan) or a filthy rich guy who spoils her.
  17. That's a good point. I remember Dorit had multiple housekeepers at one time.
  18. Whatever Erika. I don't remember Garcelle barely knowing Sutton and blindly defending her and lecturing other women over stuff she knew nothing about. There is a difference between a loyal friend like Garcelle and what Boz is doing. It's totally fine if the two have hit it off, but come on.
  19. Feels weird to agree with Kyle but agree Boz has no right to scold all the women when she just got there and doesn't know what happened.
  20. Agree with you about Kyle. And 100% about Dorit too. No Dorit, one typically shouldn't name call someone in their own home. BUT isn't it also a no-no to ignore someone for like 40 minutes when they arrive as a guest in your home then give them attitude and snide comments when you do finally speak to them? Didn't all of that occur before the b word?
  21. People rag on Kyle's style a lot, but she never dresses atrociously or cartoonishly. She looks perfectly cute on tonight's episode, and I will take Kyle's old Mrs. Roper dresses over the OTT looks of Boz or Bronwyn on Salt Lake.
  22. MTE! Dorit's mouth is worse than Sutton's.
  23. I don't think Dorit was kidding about the bag.
  24. I gave her a beverage! Robyn is usually one of the kinder ladies on the show. I was disappointed with how insensitive she was about disliking Karen's pictures. I thought it was mean and would have been hurt if I were Karen. I know it's not PC to say anything remotely critical of a mom breastfeeding, so glad I'm not alone with my thoughts on Ashley here. I know of all the benefits and would definitely breastfeed if I had a baby. Most moms are very discreet, and you wouldn't even know they're nursing. HOWEVER, I think respect goes both ways. Just like I don't think nursing moms should be harassed, I don't like what I call the "in-your-face" breastfeeders. Ashley is an attention seeker, so of course she'd be one of those moms. If Dr. Wendy can manage to nurse and pump in private, there is no reason for Ashley's boobs to be out in endless scenes. As much as I enjoy seeing babies, I also didn't think it was appropriate for Baby Dean to be at the meet-up at Karen's for Monique to share her side. Stevie Wonder could have seen that was no place to bring a baby. I also agree with the comments that Ashley is not exactly the most innocent, wholesome woman, and that's one reason she sticks around no matter what Michael does. Lots of money or not, most nice women would leave because they'd feel creeped out and disrespected by the butt grabbing, cheating, etc. I will never get how someone as gorgeous as Gizelle would go back to a man who cheated on her left and right and has kids with countless women. Her father doesn't approve. Her kids don't approve. These are the people who love her the most and truly want her to be happy. Listen to them Gizelle! I am a big Karen fan but hate what she said about Ray. If a man spoke about his wife's body with disgust, I'd find it cruel too. I think those comments were blurted out when drunk, but still.
