  1. I think she's getting a lot of those cosmetic procedures for free. Or else she has a sugar daddy who's paying for them. My BFF was a stripper and escort for years and she never had to buy a thing. Her biggest client bought her a new truck, furniture, clothes...he even paid for a group of friends to stay at the Venetian for a week. She only had to see him once or twice a month when he came to town.
  2. Brittany: I need more exposure...Hey! I can pretend to be in love with someone and get on that TLC show. Better make it that "Other Way" series or else I might have trouble explaining why he's not moving here...I'll pick someone from a country there's no way I'm going to fit into and of a religion that I don't want to convert to. This will give us a built-in excuse for not getting married, while still allowing me to get some television exposure and a free trip!
  3. She may have used that term in a hypothetical sense and not in a legal one. When my grandmother died they referred to Dad's girlfriend as his "wife". Angela already has the grids calling him "papa."
  4. I think that's the first time "rational" and "show" have ever appeared in the same sentence. 😉
  5. He has real anger issues and lashes out at anyone who questions him. His friends, the PI, Ed, viewers... I replied:
  6. I remember trying to find myself...Of course, I didn't find myself giving birth in Ethiopia with some guy I didn't know, but I DID spend a week in Vegas with my girlfriend, which is basically the same thing. 😉
  7. And what he's doing himself on social media makes him look far worse than what TLC did to him. He commented more than a dozen times on that post and each comment was worse than the one before. Example: Random person: I looked up the IMBRA law and it doesn't seem to apply to this situation. David: Do you even know how to spell it? You must live a poor, miserable life. Yeah, dude. You're doing this to yourself.
  8. I think she pretty much looks her age but acts younger.
  9. After David made some childish remarks to some people I told him that my middleschool-aged son was more mature and that his (David's) behavior is appalling. I told him that while the show may misrepresent some things, what he's doing on SM is all him. David commented back to me:
  10. So I guess this season Arielle and Biniyam will be playing the parts of Sasha and Emily.
  11. He was drunk as a skunk Instagram live last night.
  12. The more people question his insane comments, the more unhinged he becomes. I hope when I'm in my 60s I'm not going to be sitting around fighting with the haters on Instagram.
  13. Y'all had me Googling bidet adapters and THIS is the first thing that popped up. I was relieved to see that it sprayed water, because when I first saw it... I'm seriously starting to think that some of the women on this offshoot are intentionally picking men who have little to no chance of immigrating to the US. That way they can get their 15 minutes but won't have to invest in a real relationship.
  14. That's the first question on the show's application: do you have a secret you're keeping from your partner?
  15. Especially since she has a family history of cancer.
  16. That doesn't keep people from thinking they can.
  17. You would think, but I don't really know about any of that. My area is still trying to recover from the great crash of '29.
  18. The way he talks about Ukrainians and the Ukraine borders on...something. It's not quite racist, but I'd be offended if I were them just the same. It IS a relatively poor country by European standards, but it's no 3rd world country. According to him everyone is super poor and can't afford clothes, food, entertainment, or internet. Odessa and Kiev are large, bustling cities on par with any other midsize European city, but he acts like they all live in tents in the Outback. It's bizarre, but I think it helps explain why he's targeted those women: he has some kind of weird Save a 'Ho thing going on. He likes playing rich American to the poor, wee lasses of the former Eastern Bloc.
  19. I'll try to screen shoot. He's basically making up lies to cover his lies. Here's the link.
  20. David's over on Frauded by TV's Instagram account fighting with everyone. He is off his rocker and it's glorious.
  21. Threatening and lecturing Aseulu is not going to magically make things better. In fact, it might make things worse. He doesn't seem to respond well to conflict. I think her family needs to change their communication style with him. Mentorship, positive reinforcement, would probably for. I get it, he's a grown man, but his cognitive skills don't seem to be comparable to many people he's around.
  22. That's the idea, but none of these couples seemed to realize how difficult that would be. None of them seemed to do any research on what it might be like living in that country. I lived in the UK for several years. Even though our cultures are very similar, and we share a language, I found it difficult at times. I couldn't imagine if I were facing integration into a religion I don't follow. I missed home. And, like Brittany says in previews, there were times when I felt like I had a single person who loved and cared for me there.
  23. Someone on Reddit who actually speaks Korean said that Jihoon didn't say he didn't have a job, he said he didn't have a career. That's a big difference. One means he lied outright, the other means he didn't. They need to invest in some new translators.
