  1. I gave 10 votes to Caleb. I like his sense of humor and his voice.
  2. Can't stand the "Let's just do the damn thing" commercials. It's going to be a long season, filled with wine. (For me.) Luckily, I was just gifted one of those wine machines that keeps a bottle of wine fresh for a week. Unluckily, I need some wine to figure out how the machine works.
  3. Arie and Lauren looked really cute together on Jimmy Kimmel last night! She wore a really stunning dress. Maybe they can make a lot of money off an Instagram account and her fashion sense.
  4. I didn't think Arie remaining in the house trying to make sure Becca was okay was so bad. I myself would have fled when first instructed to leave, eager to find alcohol and get the hell out of Dodge.
  5. Yes! Becca agreed to be part of this shit storm. And is probably going to agree to more tomorrow night.
  6. It's just reality TV, and damn good reality TV! I wish I could watch other people break up in the privacy of their own homes. I am a flat-out, unapologetic wrong reasons viewer. And the now-sainted Becca will be fine. She will soon have 29 hot men after her, and make approximately $150,000 for her continuing lack of privacy in her dating life.
  7. I've online dated (a lot) and dating can be be brutal. One person likes another who likes yet another. It can be like a game of musical chairs. And you can be really into someone for a couple weeks and then suddenly change your mind, and he can do the same. Arie's change of heart seemed normal to me. I mean, how well did he know Becca? I like Lauren and Arie together and I hope those two crazy kids can make a go of it. Time for more wine! Can't wait for tomorrow night! Becca looked cheerful and over it. I'm assuming she's the next Bachelorette. I think she's boring, but I'll be watching. She can complain about her new trust issues and the men can pretend to sympathize. It's gonna be great!
  8. If you read the posts from this week's episode (if you have the time, this was really not meant to be a big deal), you can see that there are a few blonde mentions, which tended to be disparaging. (There were at least two specific thin or slender blonde references.) I changed my post that you quoted as I didn't mean to offend or bother anyone. I love these message boards and always enjoy even the snarkiest posts. I was merely sticking up for my peeps. :-) Peace and out.
  9. People were dissing Lauren's quite lovely, beautifully designed dress. I was merely presenting another, contrasting opinion. I love Nordstroms, and wish there was one near me.
  10. I really like Lauren's dress - it looks sexy and avante garde. I still remember the wild dress with the nipples half-showing that a French woman wore to my wedding. I thought her nipples added to the drunken festivities, so I was all for it. (My mother still brought up the open bar bill years later.) I think Becca's dress looks like she bought it at a local department store. The black and purple look goth-y to me. I apparently am in the thin blonde minority on these message boards and I'm Team Lauren all the way! Goooooo Blonde!
  11. I agree that the Tell All show seemed to be pushing both Raven Tia and Sienne, but I assume the producers think we will want Becca after seeing the heart-wrenching breakup. I can't wait!
  12. As I watched the taxidermy date, I kept wanting them to wash their hands. And then shower the dead rat-skin germs off of them. And then wash their hands again. I read an article in Cosmo years ago in which the advice columnist said that some men spark to a lot of women and some to a few. Arie's a sparker. She made it clear which you should choose.
  13. I remember that! She said she loved Olive Garden. The look on Andrew's face was also something I remember.
  14. Oh, my gosh, if I ever get a tattoo, now I know what I want! St Bibiana belongs somewhere on my body.
  15. Dean lost me when he said "Kristina lets her emotions get the best of her sometimes." He can get upset - and often seems to - but she can't. The editors are doing him no favors with this edit.
  16. Did Dean not know when this was filming that he might be considered for the Bachelor? It's almost like he's trying to appear unlikeable. Having said that, bring on D-Lo! I live in Florida but even to me these people seem sweaty. I ran out of wine and I think I need it to watch this show.
  17. I read in an article that Alex is 5'7". That's doesn't seem short to me, or at least short enough that the group on BIP would keep mentioning it. How shallow are these people, exactly? (Hypothetical question only. :-)) It's like middle school run wild.
  18. Clairwalks, I recognized the great Cabaret quote! :-)
  19. This was a shitstorm of people itching to become Instagram millionaires. I was trying to decide who was the most likely to benefit from being on this show. Dean already seems like he couldn't carry a full Bachelor show on his broad shoulders. He's a nervous giggler. Matt, Ben and Derek all look like the same guy to me, but with slightly altered features, like the Mr Potato Head toy that you can choose different ears and noses for. Taylor is so pretty and so tiring. She needs to switch professions and become a much hated middle school English teacher. I love, love, love the opening montage. Jack Stone - Super Hero! Run, Amanda, run! (And then put on some higher SPF sunscreen.)
  20. I glad to see that DeMario seemed his normal blithe self at the Tell All. (Though I agreed with Nikki Star about his shirt!) He might be fun to watch on DWTS, if the rumors are true. As an aside, they should put an amateur normal DWTS-watcher on DWTS! It would be a great twist.
  21. For the next Bachelor, how about Daniel (of Canada and Mussolini fame) from BIP? I'd watch that every night of the week.
  22. To me, I thought she carried it further than other contestants. It is a rare Bachelor/ette who tells more than 1 contestant that they are falling in love with them.
  23. I think Rachel wanted to look like a successful Bachelorette and that got in the way of her considering the men's feelings. Adam and Matt and Dean all thought they were legitimate contenders. And why was that? Because Rachel made them feel as if she was truly interested in them -- just like players do. And why did (non-player) Ben get raked over the coals for falling hard for two women? On the other hand, who cares? It's just a show, and all the men get mad mojo in their hometowns if they look good on the show. Women everywhere probably wonder what's behind Matt's quiet graciousness, and just what Diggy's shoe closet looks like.
  24. I am starting to view Bryan the same way. Nothing wrong with a good-natured extrovert to settle down with. Ego? I found it odd, too. I wonder if Bryan will feel the same way Lauren allegedly felt about Ben and Jojo. On the other hand, that's where his easy-goingness might come in handy.
