  1. Am I thinking of somebody else or wasn't Sarah gay on her Real World season?
  2. What is it with the clocks?! Clocks and some type of words or letters on the wall somewhere. I finally saw the episode the other night where the couple go to Chip and Joanna's house and they absolutely hate it. It was so funny to see the look on Joanna's face, she's so used to everyone gushing about her house that she didn't know how to react. I didn't blame the couple at all for hating her house. I hate the "distressed" look, I don't understand taking something new and scuffing it up to make it look old. If something is naturally that way it's different but to purposely make something look old is beyond me.
  3. I'm terrible but those clips made me want to watch Being Bobby Brown again.
  4. I teared up as well. I liked his wife, she seems really good for him. I don't know why but I've always had a soft spot for Bobby. He's definitely had his struggles but I think he has a big heart and wants to do the right thing. When he talked about having those two days back my heart just broke for him.
  5. You all are so much stronger than me. I have tried to watch the veterinary shows but I just can not do it. I like some of the vets I see in commercials so I have tried the shows but I can't watch. Even if I know the animal will be OK in the end, I just can't watch an animal in distress of any kind. There are a lot of shows on Animal Planet that I have to stay away from because I know I will just end up crying. I like the guy in the commercial for Vet Life but I didn't even try to watch. If I read that it's not too bad in terms of sick or injured animals I may give it a try.
  6. Kim and her lawyer are the reason the final episode never aired? She's so damn pathetic. I don't watch the Housewives shows too often, are they really considering asking Kim back to the Beverly Hills show? That just seems like a bad idea to me, I mean I love a good train wreck but Kim is just too much for me. She's too much of a mess to even make a good train wreck. I think the train would hit reverse and back the hell away from her.
  7. It's so interesting to me how people interpret things so differently. This show seems more fake to me than any of the other popular home renovation shows. The fakery over the "surprise, unexpected" repairs that need to be made, problems that would have shown up in the inspection. Then the fakery over how much those surprise repairs would cost. Then there are the fake things they do. Like the pet mouse that Christina pretended was a wild mouse that was infesting the house. Then the wall outside that came "unexpectedly" crashing down and they had to run out to make sure everybody was OK. They definitely are not actors and it shows. That's not even mentioning when they pretend to tile and do actual work. Neither of them can hold the tools properly or at the right angle when they pretend to tile. I think the fake shock over the unexpected repairs and the cost makes them look incompetent. First, they should have caught those things during inspection and by now, they should know what that kind of this is going to cost. That said, it may not sound like it I do actually enjoy the show and the few times I've seen Taylor speak I thought she was adorable. I'm not a kid person at all, the only kid i like is my niece, but Taylor is pretty cute.
  8. I noticed the dog doesn't have a yard also, after they turned down other houses because there was no yard for the dog. I worried about the dog on that deck. I wonder what the drop was over that railing. I kept imagining the dog or a drink person tumbling right over that short rail. All I can think of when I see those doors and windows they chose was flies getting in the house. I have screens on my windows because I can't stand flies in my house.
  9. I'm watching it right now. I love the Nature series, as long as nothing dies I can watch it on a loop. Have you seen the episode about urban raccoons? That was one of the best animal shows I've seen. They are so smart. Roxy from Pit Bulls and Parolees is my favorite story from that show. Seeing that dog transform right before our eyes once she saw here mama was something special. I agree good tears. I read that Roxy has cancer.
  10. Scout Finch, I ask the same questions. I've gotten to the point where I just can't watch most of the animal shows anymore because I get too emotional. It seems like so many of the animal shows have to show animals being hurt or dying. I'll be sitting and watching a beautiful deer on a show, next thing I know something is chasing and killing it. I can't take it anymore. All of my pets with the exception of 1 cat are all rescues and most were abused in their pasts. I've seen the horror first hand, I can't watch it on TV anymore. I made the HUGE mistake of reading Marley and Me, I came across the movie on TV one night and couldn't change the channel fast enough, no way in hell was I going to watch it. The only show I know for sure will have happy stories and happy endings is Too Cute but I don't think there have been any new episodes of that show for a long time. I've never seen Lucky Dog, I'll have to look for it.
  11. What the hell is up with Jenelle's eyebrows in that picture with Matt? She went from sperm brows to...that. I think the sperm looked better.
  12. Is that the one with the tame white pet rat that they pretended was a wild rat invading the house? I rolled my eyes so hard at that one that it took a month for them to roll back. The rat was pristine white which a wild rat would not be and when they pulled back the garbage to reveal the rat, it just sat there like a domestic pet rat would. The show is interesting without that fake stuff. I don't understand why they keep putting that stuff in. It makes them look stupid because they're terrible actors.
  13. The guy on that Flip or Flop show is always in sandals at the construction site. I hate open toed shoes on a man anyway (ewwwwwwwww) but on a job site it's ridiculous.
  14. I can't stand that fish tank building show. The tank building process and the fish selection and stuff would be interesting but that show has so much ridiculous set up fake nonsense that it's just unwatchable for me. The guys are obnoxious and are the worst actors I've seen on reality TV. I'm also tired of the tree house guy, he's obnoxious as hell too. What I've never understood is Animal Planet's logo. Why is the N upside down?
  15. I'm making chicken cacciatore tonight with the best, freshest chicken I've ever had. I'm an animal lover so it's hard for me to see these guys alive one day and in my pan the next but I think it's important to know and understand the process. I know and have seen how the chickens are raised and how they are killed and cleaned. I even helped clean the chicken I'm cooking tonight. I'll make extra and freeze a batch. It's hard to cook for one so if possible I usually make enough to freeze some too. And let me tell you, I've never had such great chicken in my life. Now I just need to find somebody here with some pork and with the garden I have planned I'll never have to go into the city again.
  16. Carnie will run around like a crazy person talking about how stressed out she is and how much she has to do while doing nothing. Isn't that what she does on all of these shows? I don't know what I was thinking but I really thought that Vince Neal had already been on this show.
  17. It's terrible that vet costs are so high that people can't afford to have their pets taken care of. That makes me so sad. I know very few vets that will take payment plans. The vet I use now will but only if they're established patients, I guess she's been taken advantage of in the past. I have been lucky so far, with all of the pets that I've had over the years I've managed to avoid any major illnesses or injuries (knocking on all of the wood I can find). I've basically just had to deal with regular vet visits and spaying/neutering. Jenkins, I'm so sorry that you had to make that decision, I can't imagine. I'm sure it wasn't a decision you made lightly and it must have been so hard. So sorry. Has anyone ever had pet insurance? My friend had it for a year and hated it. She said it was very hard to find a vet who would accept it and the way it worked was she paid the bills and the insurance place was supposed to reimburse her. She went through absolute hell trying to get them to pay for anything. She rode out her year long contract and dropped it. I was wondering if anybody may have had better luck than she did.
  18. What do you call a criminal who talks down to people as he's going down the stairs?.... A condescending con descending.
  19. Me too!! I usually come here before the episode ends to read the comments. I read that one and decided I didn't want to be spolied and I too am SOOOOOOOO glad I waited. Again I have to say Holy Shit!!
  20. Holy shit!!! I gasped and yelled ao loud at the end that the cat flew off my lap and the dogs scattered. HunterHunted, I never thought anything could top Lexi Featherston dying on Sex and the City, but I think this was even better. I love this show!
  21. Good luck Jenkins! We don't have a lot of natural disasters here in Oregon but in case of fire etc, I have my plans in place for my animals. I'm sure if anything were to actually happen those plans would go out the window as I panicked but the plans are there. One of my neighbors here owns 3 retired cadaver dogs and she's given me a lot of tips in case of emergency.
  22. Raw chicken bones are fine for dogs. They're actually good for them but raw only. I keep a bag of frozen chicken parts in my freezer and give them to my dogs, they love them and they're vet approved. I hate defending her but in this case, if the bones were raw it was OK.
  23. Chelsea and Karl are the only ones who have the same pets season after season. The rest seem to think pets are disposable.
  24. From the article: Weird: Richie also asked Abraham if she considered herself a sociopath. She does not known what that means so Nik asks if she is self absorbed. 'No, I'm not self absorbed. I think, now I do acting and I'm doing films and stuff and people say I'm so selfless and that's why I'm so good at acting and they can't even believe it,' she said" What the fuck?! I can't believe the ridiculous crap that comes out of that girl's mouth.
  25. The venison was great! I just gave it a marinade with some soy sauce and a little garlic and onion. I grilled it on the charcoal grill and it came out really good. I'll definitely be buying some from him in the future. I've already been back and bought some more jerky. Thank you for the tips.
