  1. We might be living the worst Stef and Lena season. This is now a show written for Noah, David and Maia.
  2. I need someone to explain me the logic of this show. It seems like when you are wrong, you're actually right. Like When Mariana cheated on Mat and then was all like "I don't care you're mad at me cause I cheated on you, I don't care you have the right to be angry with me, but you know what ? I forgave myself, and that's all matter". Or that time when Brandon was yelling at his moms about how they would keep bringing "stray kids" in their house without asking for his permission, and even if that was a mean thing to say, still, Stef had to appologized for the poor boy. Now Callie is saying that AJ has to feel bad for what he did while the girl let Aaron kiss her when she still was seeing AJ. I'm so tired of Callie playing the victim. It was nice seeing AJ, that's the only thing I liked in that episode. I can't appreciate an episode without Stef and Lena's scenes.
  3. I think that you are focusing on the wrong things. I know about unrealistic shows (I watch The Fosters...) but in The Bold Type this is not that annoying and can't keep me from following it. The show is getting so much love in the media and from the critics. There must be a reason. It's not the show of the year but it's definitely one of the best Freeform has done well lately.
  4. That's why they always say that she could be a lawyer. She knows how to convince people, so I didn't get why she didn't just ask. When she wanted to be Isabella's godmother her moms didn't want her to get baptized at first. And then they listened to her and changed their mind. Besides if Brandon is the golden boy, Mariana's like the queen in that house. She does whatever she wants. Nope. She always think that everything is fine. I don't know why she suddenly seems so concerned about Jesus. I love Stef and Lena but they are incredible sometimes. I miss Aj . I understand he's no longer Callie's boyfriend but I thought they could show us a little something of his life with Mike. They do deserve a mention. To let us know that they're at least still alive....
  5. I would say that Stef's first real cruch was when she was 13. She had a crush on her best friend who dressed like Madonna (as reffered in 2x18 when Stef was wondering if Jude had a cruch on Connor). Tess is a friend from highschool. The mistery behind her relationship with Stef makes this more complicated than what it seems. Stef has never said she had a cruch on Tess. She said that what was going on was innocent. That doesn't mean they didn't like each other that way... That means they didn't know what was going on between them to actually be able to put a word on it.
  6. And the priest was in Padre episode (1x15) and Stef talked about Tess again. This storyline is such a big deal.
  7. That's why I loved the moment when Stef came back home to Lena. It's like after you travelled around the world you come back home to the people you love, here her wife. It was a little thing, but I loved it. I love them. And I don't get why the writers would do that. They are gay themselves but to me it feels now like it's not Ok to keep the bio parents outside your kids life. After all it's not like Stef and Lena want Gabe around (Or the other ones). And it kills me to see Gabe and Ana hanging out in their house while they are not there. It seems to me that Jesus has a problem with Lena in particular. The thing with Gabe is also that Jesus responds more to him than to his parents. Callie has always been on Stef and Lena's side when it came to Robert. Ana is there since day one but I've never felt what I feel about Gabe with her. That's what I don't like with Gabe. It's like what Stef was saying in the camping episode when she was complaining about being the mom the kids were afraid of. Lena was the cool mom, the easy mom. Gabe is not a parent he is just going to be cool with Jesus (I'm not comparing Lena and him, Lena doesn't like conflicts as she had said) but Gabe doesn't know what to do. He will just do whatever Jesus wants. I don't want to see Jesus yelling at Lena, anymore. As you say we could have get a Lena/Jesus storyline, Stef and Lena could have handled this together. I know they have other kids with problems but I remember when Frankie died the kids asked what they could do to help... same when Stef got cancer. Now Jesus is sick and Callie should know better her moms can't deal with her drama because her brother needs them. Callie creates her drama. But without Gabe what happened to Jesus would never have happened. Just like without Ana Stef would never have got shot. (I should be happy, actually the show shows that bio parents are trouble...)
  8. I'm so mad at the writers right now. I was talking with some people on monday telling them how much I love this show and the reasons why I love it. Do I have to take back all I said now ? Because the show I was talking about doesn't look like the premiere I just saw. I was prepared to hate this episode. Hopefully I just disliked it, because you know... Stef talking some sense to Callie, Jude defending HIS sister... But I don't understand the message the writers are sending to the viewers. Especially to gay moms. Jennifer Lopez recently told (again) the reasons why she agreed to produce The Fosters. The most important reason is that her aunt didn't have the chance to grow up with a show like The Fosters. A show that represented people like her. She was a lesbian and she always felt alone. Today we have (at least I do) the chance to see two lesbian moms raising their kids on TV. At first that was what it was about. Now the message the writers are sending is "even if you are two moms and you love your kids you'll still have to need the kid's bio dad at some point because you are not enough" I mean right ? Stef is so busy looking for Callie and Lena can't manage Jesus because he wants his daddy to be there. And guess what Gabe said "Jesus needs me". And sure, Lena is going to be the bad guy because she wants to parent her son. Stef used to be the bad guy and Lena the one who the kids came to. They could just keep this between Stef and Lena. But no, you need to be 999 women and at least one man to raise 5 kids. I can't take it.
  9. I thought about that. These kids do have an uncle. So instead of Mike or another man, I would have seen someone from the family. But since Nathan is not Lena's favourite person I guess that couldn't be possible. He didn't even seem to care about the kids anyway. At least Mike was there to make breakfast... I hope that won't happen. I just wish they could stop with the drama and just let this family be. No, it wasn't. And I know he was trying to help. I think it's just something the writers didn't think of. Lena has always do nothing but try to help Brandon too. But well, it was years ago when they didn't get along. As I like both actors, I can't really tell. I just prefer how Jesus was portrayed by Jake. That doesn't mean I don't like Noah and what he's been doing. That scene in the first episode of season four where Jesus run to grab Mariana after they found her is one of the best thing I've seen in the show. But as you say "Jake and Noah did portray Jesus differently". That's why I see the new Jesus as a whole new character. When I watch old episodes and see Jake, I just miss him. Maybe he didn't have a lot to do with Stef and Lena, but he always defended them and his family. The new Jesus may have more to do with the family and have more interesting storylines but my concerns are just about Stef and Lena and how it looks like he cares more about Gabe than them. I think the old was fine with his moms. He would have never looked for his bio father (I blame this on Nick... ) The old Jesus is the one who said how he felt about Stef and Lena more than once. In the pilot he told Callie "they prefer the term people but yes they are gay". In episode 4 season one still, he noticed how Mariana was selfish because she didn't want to dance with Stef and Lena after all they did for that quinceanera. Jesus didn't also want to see Ana unlike Mariana that time their bio mom wrote that letter Stef was keeping. And in that family dinner with the Rivera where Franck was talking about that catholic camp, Jesus told them that nothing someone could ever say would change the way he feels about his family. So even if Noah has more family-centric storylines (and with Stef and Lena) I have never heard such things from his mouth. There were some BTS with Maia and Jake so I guess that's why we didn't see them that much. Maybe it was the same thing with the other actors. Or maybe the show just didn't care as you say.
  10. First You see it as a Jake/Noah matter and as what Jake/Noah are able to do as actors. You assume Noah is able to do more than what Jake could ever done. But the way I see it, it's not about the actors. It's about "Jesus". Who is Jesus ? Or who was Jesus ? Jesus was a dumb guy, who cared about his body and was all about girls and sport. That's Jesus and his personnality. That's how he was written. Was he written like that because the actor wasn't able to do more ? Then was Callie written "not sexy" because Maia couldn't act "sexy like Cierra " ? I agree with you guys that the new Jesus has interesting storylines. And I'm glad about that. I wish Jake had interesting storylines too. And as much as I love Noah, I've always prefered the Jesus Jake T Austin was portraying. He was funny as the dumb guy of the family. Everyone was always making fun of him at the kitchen table. He cared about his look and would never have wore the clothes the new Jesus wears. It's one thing to change the actor but it's another thing to change the character personnality. Noah could have kept Jesus personnality and still have interesting storylines since he's such a good actor. It's one thing to find it more interesting that Jesus cares about more than just girls and wrestling but that's how he was. We can like it or not. Second I seriously don't understand your point of view here. I guess we won't agree but that's okay. When you talk about Mike as the guy who could have been Jesus male role model and even wish he could have interacted with the other kids. I find this an incredible thing to say. I love Mike and I liked that scene when he was playing basketball with Jesus but don't you think it was overstepping for him to come with that wrestling idea ? We are talking about a guy who was an absolute jerk towards Lena in the first episodes. He didn't want her to have to decide what to do with Brandon about punishing him or not. And what you say is like saying that two women can't raise kids without some man somewhere if they have boys. And that's actually what I feel about the show with all these bio dads right now. Gabe is just the limit. And that video promo was just too much for me. That's why I love Donald. He came, he said "I'm not a parent" and we never saw him again... (But I guess he will come back one day when Jude needs a male role model).
  11. I'm not saying it's okay for Mariana and Callie to have their biological families around (the show claims that DNA doesn't make a family but still we have to deal with all those bio "parents") I just dont remember any important moment of Mariana and Callie's life where Ana or Robert had to be there when it actually was Stef and Lena place to be. Stef has always been in Callie's important life moments. Same thing with Mariana and Lena. Jesus is going through a lot and it's his parents place to be there for him. Not Gabe. And it's not really about Jake or Noah. Its about the character himself. I did say Jesus cared a lot about girls. But he also was protective over his moms. He cared about Stef and Lena, more than you think (Having scenes with them or not doesnt mean he didn't) He never cared about Ana until he saw how she was living. Jesus is not like Mariana. He never cared that much about his bio family. He just wanted to be there for his sister. This is what I'm saying. The old Jesus never cared about such things.
  12. I'm not really interested in seeing Gabe with Jesus. And he doesn't need his "biological family". I love how the show is all about "DNA doesn't make a family" and then we have to hear about "biological families". That's one of the reasons I don't like this Jesus. The writers always have been interested in showing him with Gabe and not with the Adams-Foster. Especially Stef and Lena. The real Jesus used to only care about girls, his body and his moms. If he has to interact with people, I wish it would be The Fosters. And I don't think Lena is too busy to care about his son. She tried, he rejected her.
  13. Her name is Nina. And I like their friendship too. It's precious. The worst thing is I don't even know if the 3 of them want that baby. It seems to me that Jack is the only one to want it. Izzy only agrees to keep the relationship and Emma wants a baby because Jack wants a family.
  14. I wish they could do a spin-off of Black Sails about them doing their thing.
  15. Brandon tells Stef about Juilliard in 4x13 but she only reacts in 4x14 by removing the doors. Does he tell her at the end of 4x13 or what ? Stef cracks me up! Taking away the doors ? Really ? I can't wait to see that!
  16. Stef didn't really tell Mariana that Callie was in Juvie because of her. She never said that, she just answered her question and by answering it I don't think she meant it was Mari's fault. What made me laugh was Stef saying that Callie didn't know that even as a passenger it's a crime to leave a scene accident. The question is : does Callie know a thing about anything ?
  17. that's why I wouldn't mind an Alex and J'onn spin-off.
  18. I will not buy that Alex is gay. She had such a great chemistry with Maxwell during the whole freaking season one. I liked the tension between them and that in the same time nothing ever happened. That was done so naturally. And now she's supposed to be gay ? Bisexual but not gay. I like her and Maggie together as a team, but they clearly are rushing this into a relationship. I bet the next step is having them making out. And I don't like the fact that Alex is all about Maggie now. Alex was so more than that, please! I miss Alex et J'onn so much same as Kara and her. Too bad Lena had to interrupt them. I know Kara/Lena is not for real and that Kara is never going to be involve in a gay relationship as the main character, but this could have been more interesting than forced Maggie and Alex relashionship. And LOL about Alex's life being perfect except for the dating part... are they kidding me ? If it wasn't for J'onn she wouldn't be the woman she is today. The girl could have turned pretty bad. What is wrong with them forgetting about the whole season one ? Just like Kara used to be all about James and in 2 minutes in the first episode of season 2 she dumped him lol. Which is good for everyone but I'm just talking about consistency whether you like him or not.
  19. I think that Callie's Cold Case storyline is going too far.
  20. They didn't really get into. I really enjoy this show. I hope it's not going to be cancelled like The Family.
  21. Oh it's finally time for Stef and Lena to get rid of their kids and tell them to go live with their birth parents! I can't wait for the next episode when they tell them that! Jude will go with Donald since he hates Callie who is going to live with Robert. Jesus and Mariana will be part of Mike and Ana brady bunch. And Stef and Lena will buy a little house near the beach so they finally can have sex! Can't wait! Seriously can really Stef enters every "court" like that ? Just because she's a cop or she has something to do with the case ? I remember her last entrance to save Ty. Same thing. Can just someone come and start talking in a trial ? And why on earth wouldn't Mariana tell her moms about Nick ? They can help... Well I was hoping that Lena would be harsher to Brandon. He didn't seem to understand. I'm just praying so hard he doesn't get into Julliard. I forget the show is all about his eternal success.
  22. isn't it funny they took Gavin picture in real life to put it on the show. Am I the only one who noticed it ? It's actually the one he is with Hayden when they still were friends. I don't know but it looks unprofessional to me lol. Can they do that ? There is the original pic. Correct me if I'm wrong. even the background is the same on the social media.
  23. I thought they were going to talk about it. I also wonder what's her problem with that alarm system. I was so scandalized they called her "Foster" more than "Foster whore" lol. That wasn't nice anyway.
  24. Brandon being Brandon and Stef being Stef, that couldn't end well. Brandon had a point though. About the restraining order. They should have talked about how he felt about Callie zillion years ago and discuss about it and put it on the table. We could have escaped this Brallie nonsense. Anyway I can't wait for him to come back in tears to his mommies. I secretely hope this is happening.
  25. Just saw the episode. And I'm like "I wasn't ready". I can't believe Poussey's actually dead. I wasn't ready for anything that happened in this season.
