here's a question i have been meaning to ask, who are some tragic or sympathetic perps you can remember in the show? you don't have to agree, approve, condone or support what they did, just ones you felt bad for a few come to mind for me the slave boy in chattel who was enslaved, then made to kill two people and now may never be freed donnie from slave who's mother sold him as a slave basically to a drug dealer and called him a pain in the ass the king dog from who let the dogs out, nora's line says it best, abused, tortured and now destroyed

liked it too, remember the svu episode with the plane pilot who was raped and barba went after the company? the mothership already did an episode like that and in a much better way i do wonder if adam was right about it being overturned on appeal and i personally wonder if civil court would be a more appropriate way for the woman to deal with it though, the lady could instead claim sexual harassment and sue them to the stone age then use the money to start her own firm

anyone else find the adas looked too similar at times? like claire, abbie, jamie and alex at times can get confusing to remember who is who say what you will about serena but at least she looked different I wonder if there was a reason for that casting or production wise, i recall one time when i was a more causal viewer and started watching i thought claire was alive again but it was abbie not claire

the episode was homesick
-
i believe it was jack
-
it wasn't a crossover, don't remember the detectives sorry
-
anyone remember what episode this is some priest is with some teen boys and then anita comes in and asks, excuse me sir are you a lawyer? the priest then says no and she tells him to leave the room i also think the case involved a rape and was before svu

well i see your point about jj and izzy , but i have some bad disabilities myself and i was just never interested in dating, even as a young child i just preferred to be alone and not hang out with people romantically or otherwise, i was always kinda a loner tbh so maybe that's why i disliked the romance plots aside from it being overused

reposting this from my reddit it's a real shame that speechless got canceled but to be honest, i'm not surprised at all, season 3 and the later part of season 2 had way too much focus on dating and romance which made the quality of the show go downhill Like for instance basically every plot about ray with one exception (him and jimmy not bonding over repairs) in those seasons was about him trying to find a girl or date or something annoying and boring with romance next we had jj trying to find someone to date and that taking up important screentime like i know they are teenagers but there's was way too much focus on dating/romance like it's ok to be single, i myself am single and am fine with it, have been for years, i prefer frankly to be alone I would have liked to have seen more family plots or non romance plots, like ray liked astronomy or science things, it would have be cool to explore that more jj didn't really have much interests and that could have been interesting to cover, him trying out new things for hobbies dylan at least had sports as a hobby and notably she only ever dated one person briefly and didn't focus on it anyway just want to share my thoughts on the overuse of dating and how it killed the show imo

meh on this, i was half excepting with rob interrupting court and the judge warning him and he confronting olivia and fin being there, that something would happen like he goes off the deep end and a court officer or fin is forced to kill him, (extra points if fin kills him typical fin style) then peter felt burnt out or got a different offer and decided to leave the job as a result
-
sad it got canceled but not surprised, the last season and second part of season 2 was a real step down in quality in several ways

maybe philip will write a tell all, then he'd be the hero we all want
-
he might have climbed on her just to taunt her and scare her with the whole will he rape you or won't he
-
in her VERY slight defense, she thought her father was raping her sister and found out the other guy was a pedophille and was mislead into killing her father who was Innocent all in a very short time period, that's bond to make most people unhinged

with the questions about sam not appearing for dear ben, maybe sam didn't want to be part of the mess that is current svu
-
maybe he lied about that too and they are still alive
-
this episode will be woe because we have to put up with a rollins plot :P
-
sorta confused, what do you mean you would have rallied?

one of the better episodes this season but still mixed on it I'm afraid i have to be on jack's side, when nicky dropped the grenade there was more then enough time for him to grab it and throw it into the lake rather then just yell at the kid in a language he doesn't understand, also he could have just grabbed the kid as well when jumping Kate was kind of pushy and rude when she said they weren't leaving TBH i find it really hypocritical of rebecca being upset at jack, like she's the one who kept william from randall all those years, so really she should get over herself i found the nicky secret really anticlimatic, i thought that nicky was going to be horribly scarred or disfigured in an accident and he was too ashamed to see jack or anyone again, i recall in an old ann landers book that happened with this one couple in ww2, also i thought maybe alternatively nicky was gay or bi and jack found out and was homophobic and disowned him which would have been dark but considering it was the 70's understandable but still unacceptable

eh ok episode was amused when kate's speech didn't work, also that was stupid of both of them, toby for not labeling the box clearly and kate for selling it and telling him he had to sell his stuff no surprise with the randall plot but i thought at the end when he got the call that the consuelman was going to be dead from a drunk driving accident, also i agreed with randall's manager, if he was stupid enough to drive drunk and bribe people to cover it up rather then face the consequences like an adult then he deserves to have his campaign ruined Was expecting randall to give on of those speechs to the bakery and then of course they would bake him a pie right away kevin and zoe plot was ok

i can't get the video in my country, can you tell me what happens?
-
indeed, tbh i get why people say the show has become sjw but i find this highly questionable. tbh they seem to just choose some plot or idea that will make mariska look best that week without doing proper or at least a small amount of research.
-
more poor research then anything, and forgetting a very basic thing i learned as a small child, if in doubt about someone who is very different, just treat them like a human being i.e. an equal
-
svu has never been good with lgbt people or plots, they do really poor or offensive plots, my advice as someone who is lgbt? don'y include them in the show if you can't do a decent plot. FOr me I would rather not be included in the show if they aren't going to do lgbt plots right.

what a bizarre confusing episode the episode cut out partway before the second last commercial so i missed part of the show, did they reveal what happened to vince, if he was still alive or dead? With the mom i was surprised no one mentioned the possibility that with her poor health she choked or ashipaxed herself, i've seen where people have literally suffocated on their own vomit and died someone needs to turn on a light in that house, was surprised no one had fallen down a flight of stairs or something
