  1. unless marc was actually mentally unstable (remember he said his father was a jerk) and killed himself in front of kate which caused guilt for kate
  2. i know, was suppose to be a joke, oh well i tried
  3. here's a good question i saw on reddit once, what is the worst things the main characters have done, not the perps or victims but the characters themselves imo the worst thing ever done was jack nullifying same sex marriage just to win a case, it's pretty hard to top denying a group of people rights just to win one case, i don't care if this comes off as sjw, he was completely wrong to do that and i agreed with serena,(i was always fairly indifferent to her btw), i'd argue it's the most evil thing any character in the entire franchise has ever done and yes that even includes chester lake on svu killing the cop another one is fontana shoving the one guys head in a toilet or logan threatening to kill the guy who shot max also there's lennie defending the woman in wages of love 😛 i once saw maybe on imdb or tv.com someone said the worst thing serena ever did was either being born or being alive, it amused me mildly but that's kinda too mean even if most people didn't like her
  4. eh, it's the same really, whether it's boring or annoying, the show quality goes down period regardless of which it is
  5. probably how the majority of people feel about stablers family and their antics
  6. from a thread on reddit, people were asking if svu were bullies or jerks to the dale stucky character, your personal feelings about the character aside, do you think they were unfair to him? also from tv tropes about the character Though he could be annoying and ultimately became a spree killer, Dale Stuckey did have moments when the abuse heaped on him seemed greatly disproportionate such as when he explained how a teen used spoofing to threaten another girl only for O'Halloran to dismiss it as Stuckey wasting their time or in his final appearance when Stabler physically assaulted him, Stuckey demanded that Cragen write Stabler up for it, and Cragen outright told him that Stuckey's completely valid complaint which would have gotten a real life detective fired or even brought up on charges wasn't worth the trouble. Stuckey who, despite his tendency to annoy everyone, at times seemed to be a bullying target for the entire SVU department. Quite a few fans were cheering for him when he attempted to torture and kill Stabler, especially since Stabler had physically assaulted him earlier in the episode.
  7. abbie also did the case in the episode harm, very well btw
  8. one thing you can take comfort in, new york is a dangerous city and being a cop in new york is pretty dangerous....
  9. here's a new topic and thought thread, who are some of the most evil victims in the show you can recall, not the perps but the victims themselves who were either killed or attacked or whatever?
  10. i doubt they will ever let olivia be seen in the wrong or as the bad person
  11. from tv tropes mentioning a number of legal issues with patient zero In "Patient Zero," a man is charged with killing his mistress's child (dosing them with stolen SARS virus that she survived). His wife testifies that she was with him at the time, but breaks down on the stand and changes her story a couple of times. Outside the courtroom, she admits that she was deliberately playing the jury, and the jury returns a not guilty verdict because they can't be sure what the truth is. McCoy and Southerlyn watch the husband and wife walk out of court hand-in-hand, and are apparently so bewildered by their defeat that they completely forget they have an iron-clad case for perjury against the wife. Not to mention completely ignoring the handful of felonies the husband committed in getting the SARS virus to begin with.
  12. sorry if this is in poor taste but since i got laid off because of the damn coronavirus and might be actually sick myself... anyone else remember the episodes flight and to a degree fluency and carrier which involved a possible outbreak of a disease what is happening irl now is a good example of what could have happened in flight, that company got off way too easy, i hope the mother did win her lawsuit or mccoy did what casey did in loophole and told the company that he would drop charges if they gave an acceptable settlement to the mother of the boy who was killed were there any other episodes that dealt with outbreaks or similar things?
  13. maybe kevin is aged because he has randall as a brother, i imagine having someone like that as a family member would age anyone , maybe that explains rebecca too
  14. very meh episode, didn't hate it but nothing was interesting about it you know if kat had to for whatever reason shoot and kill kim or the dad, that would have been the highlight of the episode or if they had died for whatever reason then the episode would have brought me and probably other viewers eternal relief from pain since we would never have to see kim or the dad again
  15. here's probably the most evil non murderer the parents from smoked in one way i would argue that what the parents did to the kid was more evil then what the pedophile himself did what do you think, was what the parents did more evil then what the perp did?
  16. interesting list but i was asking more for the single most evil perp out of every perp in the show
  17. here's a real thinker of a question, who is in your opinion, the single most evil perp or character in the entire show? can't really think of one most evil character but the perps in prince of darkness come close
  18. one thing that might have been better is if luna was guility of embezzlement but not rape and she was actually raped, so she still goes to prison or is given a massive fine and community service for embezzlement and the moral of the episode was even embezzlers deserve justice and her embezzlement doesn't mean she deserves to be raped and just because she was raped doesn't give her a free pass on her criminal behaviour maybe it might have been better
  19. what the hell kind of nightclub is that? are alcohol laws and entertainment laws much different in the uk then in the usa?
  20. while we are on the topic of con artists and scumbags, how about the guy in fluency who sold fake vaccines and caused several deaths as a result? the ending scene when he is sentenced to over 200 years is one of my favorite scenes, it's one of my favorite later season episodes
  21. well to be fair, the guy in carrier was a real monster, infecting people and making jokes about it and wanting to infect as many people as he could the woman in compassion was doctor who killed a career con artist, not that it makes it right or ok but i may have too much personal history to be objective, my father was friends with a doctor in college who worked with terminally ill people, the doctor himself went off the deep end from just a year of working with them and committed suicide, the job type is not an easy one, my dad said that his friend said if you work that type of job, prepare to literally feel your soul start to die when you are working with people that you most likely can't save, he didn't know that was really a thing and not just a saying
  22. here's a fun question i thought, ben, jack and cutter all had different styles of doing cases so here's a thought, how do you think they would have handled certain cases if they had them some cases at random cases from ben's time . asylum, born bad, prescription for death and american dream cases from jack's time, Darwinian, killerz, rage and flight cases from cutter's time. human flesh search engine, rumble, reality bites and rubber room
  23. i always hated that as well i always thought about making a sequel fanfic where it's revealed ryan survived but suffered bad permanent brain damage and had to go on permanent disability, we then see the trial of dale and he tries either an insanity defense or eed and tries to blame elliot and the svu crew for making him snap additionally we find out what happened to peter harrison
  24. repost from my reddit account what are some scenes or lines or parts in law & order episodes that are funny to you that shouldn't be? one example that stands out to me is the scene in doped where the one guy, stricken by grief and horror for causing an accident that killed several people jams a pen in his neck and starts hemorrhaging and lupo and Bernard start yelling and trying to save him, something about the way Bernard yells during the scene and kicks down the door makes it unintentionally funny to me despite it being a very bloody scene
  25. what are some of the most messed up episodes you can remember in the series? two come to mind, smoked and grief any other episodes you recall?
