I see behind-the-scenes shenanigans. Has production turned on Kate? And perhaps the weary Lee? I can see production pointing the Toxic Jerks at Kate and her being furious about it. And the lengthy shot of her lips was very unflattering. It seemed as if Lee's failure to charge in and handle the situation in Kate's defense, instead of leaving in search of a cocktail, is what caused Kate to finally cave in to her emotions. (Not to mention fatigue and alcohol) As others have posted, Kate's getting a taste of her own nasty medicine. Courtney was reminiscent of old Hollywood in her elegant black maillot and headband. Tanner is just another boring sloppy drunk. Simone chucked her self-respect overboard.

I loved Nancy's shredded top for something different than everyone else. Same with the parrot/peacock print, although the only thing "street" about that look was when the society matron walks two steps to her limo. Brandon's reviews are the most meaningful. Laughed at Swatch trotting out of the way. The right contestant won.

I think this version of the series is pretty awful. Horrible hosts (who the hell is the uncomfortable football guy and how did he wander onto a baking show?). Blinding white Chiclet teeth. Bad wig. A couple of unskilled bakers. Fake winter. Paul H. going through the motions and cheapening the handshake. Very fast interactions and edits - cheaper production (see football guy). Every. single. time. My gawd. And the quivering humble brother (from my town). Stop with the manic crossing.

I've always thought that Gage played Jeff. He had a long-range plan for financial stability, using Jeff as a springboard. I've expected him to sue for full and sole custody and child support. Assuming what we saw on the show was real, I do believe he is the better parent by a mile. The true test of Jeff's attachment to Monroe will be if he keeps "losing" to Gage, and if his professional life suffers. Will he continue to parent Monroe, and without using her to get back at Gage or as an emotional punching bag for his own neuroses? I hope so, because for now she is attached to him. Somewhere in Hollywood Ryan and Gage probably had a no-holds-barred dinner where they exchanged Jeff-horror-stories.

Cowardly Ashton, always waiting to see which way the misogynist wind is blowing, jumped in as soon as the bro turds were alone. Combined with Simone's stalker, who was allowed to harass her, this show is developing a foul stench. The women need hazard pay. Kate handled Kevin like a champ. He didn't know how to respond to her mature, rational discussion. Where the hell was Captain Lee? Does Kate storm off the boat because he has turned into Bravo's chump?

Whether one believes in monarchies or not, Elizabeth has been a steadfast hard worker for her entire adult life. I'm more interested in how she ruled, more of the challenges she faced, more of her personal life than the snippets we've seen.

The actor playing Brendan is doing a fantastic job. His character is so believable, although I will say that most high school jocks take a little longer to become enlightened (in my experience).
