Typical Moffet :-) I feel shame that I read Mark's tweet and The Redheaded League didn't even occur to me. I need to spend more time reading Sherlock Holmes.

Benedict Cumberbatch: Not Your Father's Sherlock
M. Darcy replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sherlock [V]
That is true - he is still filming. BC's Vanity Fair picture: http://www.vanityfair.com/vf-hollywood/2015/02/hollywood-portfolio-brits-2015?mbid=social_twitter That link also includes videos about the Brits storming Hollywood which include BC. -
Only 10 months until we find out wtf is going on. Though, interesting question - I wonder when the US will see this.

The Clay Hunt Bill passed the Senate at 12:01 p.m! Rachel had the time exactly right. The final vote was 99-0! (One Senator didn't vote). FYI, if I had any say (and its probably good I don't) I would have called the bill Fuck You Tom Coburn Bill. -

I'm not a fan of Michael Steele but I think last night proved my theory that he was the last sane man in the Republican Party. -

I'm assuming he was also at the Oscar nominees lunch but did have time yet to search through all the faces to find him. -

He's on the cover of the Vanity Fair Hollywood issue! http://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/brit-bunch-eddie-redmayne-benedict-cumberbatch-and-felicity-jones-grace-the-annual-hollywood-vanity-fair-cover-10020425.html -
I can't believe two teachers didn't know Reagan was the 40th President. I thought it was easy because people are always referring to the Bushes as 41 and 43. I was also surprised that none of them knew Milton.

WETA UK is showing this and I've been watching it since I never saw the original.

It could be that she never admitted to herself and while she talks to Stacey about it she will come to terms with it? Just a thought. I just can't imagine that what happened with Linda is the first time Dean totally misread what was going on. Seriously, Linda treated him like one of the family so in his mind that meant she wanted to sleep with him? WTF? I wonder if anyone in the Square will remember how Linda started behaving back in September and realize that the rape is what happened and will believe her. And, just shut up Denise. I hope she is the killer because she is just so hateful lately.
-
Or maybe it was another example of Dean raping someone.

I read on twitter that Lord Percy Percy himself Tim McInnerny is going to be in the episode.

Yeah, it seemed to me that Rose (to me Jean Marsh is always Rose no matter what other character she is playing) would have liked to have stayed around just to continue to be cruel to her daughter. It seemed to be the finance's idea and she probably couldn't figure out how to explain why it was such a bad idea.

And the BAFTA's have announced that BC will be attending. I'm so happy Stephen Fry is hosting again. -

I happen to be watching Midsomer yesterday and it was the episode with Sophie. And a heads up - the BAFTAs are a week from today. -

That was amazing to watch - the funniest episode ever. -
FYI, an interesting fact about Josiah Wedgwood is that Charles Darwin was his grandson. And he was a prominent abolitionist.

Small world - I just read this same question somewhere else yesterday! It was a discussion about how Tolkien spelled dwarfs as opposed to how Terry Pratchett does.

I have never heard about the jail/no bail movement. Its great/sad how much I learn about the civil rights movement from Rachel. Sad in that I feel I should somehow know these things but glad I'm learning about it finally. Connected as part of the movement - in Washington, DC we do have the lunch counter from the Woolworth's in North Carolina at the Smithsonian http://americanhistory.si.edu/brown/history/6-legacy/freedom-struggle-2.html. They were going to tear it down and luckily someone thought to save the seats. -
I knew it but I wouldn't be sure if I could actually pronounce it correctly. I didn't understand the FJ at all - I thought it just had to be for an actor who won best actor while the picture also won best picture. Somehow I missed the part where it happened twice.

The first of the Back to Ours: Shane and Jessie talking about Kat and Alfie while watching clips (including when David Walliams married them!) http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p02gv35v/eastenders-back-to-ours-1-shane-richie-jessie-wallace. I cannot wait to see when its Pat and Peggy.

I doubt it will happen but it would be awesome if they replayed the Seinfeld in Oz sketch.
