I vaguely remember years ago a game with only one person around for FJ.

One thing I've noticed as how much faster they seem to be going (obviously since there are so much fewer episodes than the original series). Demelza showing up in episode one when it wasn't until episode 2 originally. Though, I thought it took longer before but I just checked - episode 2.

I'm watching it also. I really liked it (I'm watching the 70s version week by week also on PBS). I always love watching Aidan Turner and this has also reinforced that. opinion. Heh, I did mention in the 70s tread also it was funny to see how carefully they were all speaking (Jamaica Inn really scared them). And, of course, a cute doggie always adds to the enjoyment.

The newlyweds had a night out - at Buckingham Palace no less. Just hanging out with Princess Anne and Stephen Hawking (it was a reception for the Motor Neurone Disease Association). Poor Sarah. At least she has her aunt. Though, she was the one to introduce her to that cad. I think I totally forgot to mention my other favorite actor in this - Nicholas Le Prevost. I always enjoy when he pops in in something. Though, its true with most of the actors in Jewel - I've seen them probably in about five million other things since Jewel. Its probably more difficult to find something British without someone from Jewel. I just rewatched Bleak House and it has two actors from Jewel - Charles Dance and Warren Clarke.

There were reasons already - the fire, the fact that Alfie set it but her drunken awfulness has just been too much. She hit on Martin! Martin! Heh, ok, I did enjoy her pushing Sonia into the cake.

She is. Judy P must have had a blast playing her. But she seemed to have a moment when she realized what a crappy mother she is - she basically said that the only thing she does for Sarah is buy her napkins for her. Poor Sarah, she goes through an entire package every month!

Heh, I'm guessing everyone's auto correct in England types out Her Majesty automatically. The world needs more Aidan Turner riding around the countryside on horseback. Yeah, its more I'm anti Michelle Ryan than Zoe herself. At least the cute priest (minister/vicar?) was back for Pearl's christening (baptism??) . Man, I guess I should say at least the cute religious guy was back for Pearl's religious ceremony.

Heh, I read that first as George Washington and thought man that American Revolution never ended. I did notice how everyone was speaking very clearly - Jamaica Inn really scared them (if you don't know, when the BBC aired Jamaica Inn no one could understand what the actors were saying and the Beeb got a lot of complaints).

I hope this doesn't mean that Zoe is coming back. We finally got rid of Michelle Ryan in the states - hope she isn't returning.

The BBC started showing the 2015 version last night - it is going to be interesting watching both versions at once. I won't say anything else about the updated one until its shown in the States except to say they copied Grantchester - there is a cute dog.

MPT is still showing it Sunday nights - just at an earlier time. It was on 6 p.m. last night and 6:30 the week before. Last night they showed The Towers of Silence - episode 9. The spoons made a return last night. Man, Mildred really hated those spoons. Oh, I know - no matter what Barbie gave, she would have hated it.

The honeymoon is over and he's back to work! Yesterday, BC filmed a car commercial in London (and apparently caused quite a traffic jam because of it).

I had forgotten Barbie caught Mildred in the act so to speak. As good as everyone is, Peggy Ashcroft is stealing every scene she is in - especially this episode. Next week - what we have all been waiting for - Guy Perron!

How Alex introduced the subject of the hat was weird - like we would supposed to realize she was Jewish because of the hat. I'm Jewish and I just thought she liked hats.

WTF is wrong with people?! There are people that think the worst thing you can say about a political opponent is that he is Jewish?? And use is as a smear campaign? Are we that horrible a group of people? Sigh. The thing that is driving me crazy (besides the anti Semitism) is that some of these same people who would think this are the same ones worshiping Netanyahu. It would be nice if they could treat American Jews as well. I miss the Owl stories. So much less depressing. Though of course I am glad Rachel is talking about this - we can't ignore when this happens.
