  1. You did just say that! I have to agree with you. Poor James.
  2. I see that James named Tuesday nights after his mother. What a POS she is - she doesn't talk about his feelings - only about what she gave him - great vacations, Ralph Lauren, his first steps were at Tiffany's. There doesn't seem to be anything redeemable about her - she's just a pit bull with no actual ability to look at her behaviour and how it affects others. James has lots of issues - but I feel for him when I see the family dynamics. It's a really good thing that he's going to therapy. His mother could use it too - she's vile.
  3. The problem with Meri is that no one can speak to her anywhere, anytime about anything without her being "guarded" and her "walls going up" - translation - Meri might not be able to get her own way. If you want to have a rational conversation about anything to do with Meri, it would practically ensure that Meri would be excluded. Especially since she is unable to see any point of view but her own.
  4. Mary acts like a two year old. "You don't have the money to give me right this minute and it's not okay!" Yea Mary, they need the money to actually live on. Apparently every other intra-family business has had everyone be equity partners and yet Mary is blindsided by the mention of this? The other four of them must have been conspiring against poor, poor Mary. Always the victim.
  5. How many times have we heard James say that he'll never drink again. Usually while being threatened with firing. With tears. I'm heartless because it makes me laugh.
  6. I'm hating the sudden need that Kate has to start a family with Rana. She's acting in such an immature fashion it's becoming a storyline that's impossible to watch.
  7. My understanding is that CBT can be effective for personality disorders such as BPD.
  8. OMG - I don't know how I did it, but I totally missed the scene of Leanne flailing around on the ground!!! And I've deleted the episode!! Anyone got a screen shot? That probably was the best part of the whole season!
  9. Teresa can't have it both ways. When it suits her, Melissa isn't blood and should...what? Fuck off and die? Then, other times Teresa thinks that Melissa should act as a daughter to her unpleasant father-in-law? And she's blaming Melissa for Joe not spending time with his father? It's not Melissa's call and Teresa is assuming that Melissa PREVENTS it. It also sounds like Joe does see his father, perhaps not enough to suit Teresa though. I think Melissa was in an untenable position at that breakfast - and Delores becoming involved was just ridiculous. Is Delores becoming the mouthpiece for Teresa now that Siggy is gone? Teresa's okay with Delores jumping in (on her behalf) but not Jackie (on Melissa's behalf)? If I hear "in an Italian family" one more time, I'm going to scream. On another note, why do the Gorga kids always seem like such assholes when they film any scene alone with Joe Gorga (who always seems like an asshole). Perhaps it's the apple/tree thing. Just watching the Melissa/Teresa conversation - I think Melissa explained her side well. Teresa says that Melissa doesn't get it -how things should be with her side of the family. Teresa wants things with the Gorga/Guidice families to be exactly as she thinks they should be and would like to dictate. She can't seem to accept that Joe and Melissa will do things their way and that their family is a blending of Melissa's and Joe's choices.
  10. I enjoy Jeff but see all his many faults. Jenni has her faults as well. Remember in 2012 (I think) when she accepted an offer from a customer of JLD to stay at her beach home. When the customer made the offer, Jeff declined, thinking that was an end to it, but Jenni accepted and she and her husband stayed there during her honeymoon and she kept it from Jeff. It was a slimy thing for her to do and it created a huge rift at the time. I think it's been convenient for her to blame her lack of success on her job with Jeff. Now who will she blame? Shades of "I could have been a contender!!!"
  11. I'm surprised that Jenni was surprised by Jeff's revelation that he needed actual full time employees. Her jaw actually dropped. After all, we all know that she is only there for the taping of the show and doesn't work there the rest of the year. It's kind of surprising that it's taken him so long to come to this realization. Their fight was horrible but I can see his side of things too - Jenni DID miss the point of what Lea was speaking about. In fact, the way he dealt with Jenni at the restaurant is the same way he dealt with Frankie and Megan - listened to them and then came up with an exit strategy. I think Jenni is gobsmacked that her time on the show is over (and not just Jeff Lewis Design) - of course, the show could be kaput too.
  12. Oh Emily - saying about her mother - "I'm so proud of you for making a complete 360". Christ, what a dummy.
  13. If Shannon didn't react in such an over the top way almost all the time, perhaps people wouldn't go after her so much. OTOH, Gina is shit stirring so hard in the three way conversation with Tamra, Shannon and Gina, I kind of don't blame Shannon for taking her to task. Perhaps Shannon could quit with all the hand movement though - it kind of does make her look like a loon. Gina tells Person A something and then turns around and denies it with Person B - all the time. All the while telling us how truthful she is.
  14. Emily doesn't really seem to grasp that her mother suffers from mental health issues. She didn't just lose the past year to be a bitch or to inconvenience Emily. I get that mental illness affects the entire family, (I really do), but she needs to cut her mother some slack. She could start by making her mother feel less judged when she's just arrived at the house.
  15. The relentlessly stupid Bunchy. And now, the relentlessly stupid Smitty.
  16. I'm wondering: if Joe Guidice wasn't in the slammer, would Nonno Gorga be living in the Guidice home? Teresa is a pretty dutiful daughter, but if there wasn't already a man sized vacancy in her household, would she have taken her father in?
  17. LeeAnn lets nothing go by without adding a nasty remark. Every single time. I don't understand why Stephanie and Kameron think she's just misunderstood. I think the others understand very clearly what LeeAnn is.
  18. I'm watching Nonno Gorga and am finding him to be a bit of a nightmare. I know his wife has died but he's wallowing in self pity. It's inappropriate to complain about his son to his daughter the way that he's done (although I'm sure Teresa likes being the golden girl) - she could actually be supportive of Joe Gorga to her dad - that has to have contributed to the rocky relationship between Teresa and Joe Gorga. I can't believe how demanding Gorga Senior is. I have adult children and can't imagine treating them that way.
  19. I'm really liking Kary's hair and clothes this episode - her outfit at the baking session was so lovely and appropriate.
  20. Kameron is masterful at stirring up shit and then sitting back as if she's done nothing but be a fabulous friend (because she told you she is). I've seen other people act that way - all they do is deflect: "you're yelling at me", "you're being very aggressive", "tell me exactly what I've said" (although when they are told they never accept what they've been told as possibly true) etc., etc. They will never address what the actual complaint is. And they always drive the other person absolutely bonkers with their ultra reasonable tone of voice. Unfortunately for D'Andra, it's like responding to a troll online - the troll is the only one having fun.
  21. I really, really liked that Travis took Bruin from Brandi when they were at the jewelry store - I don't think too many men who are husbands of housewives would have done that, or looked like they got such a kick out of the baby. I also liked the camaraderie between Brandi and Travis - it's lovely that when he met Stephanie, she told him that that was the girl he was going to end up marrying. Brandi really seemed to enjoy helping him choose something fabulous for her friend - not a glimmer of anything other than pleasure. Something totally unique in the Reality TV world.
  22. Ohhh, I get it now. Kameron is hypersensitive about everything that happens to her (whether it actually happened or not), but no one else is allowed to be sensitive (D'Andra). And then the flounce. Such a dramatic bitch. This is also another instance where I don't understand that Kameron has aligned herself with Leanne (all those shots of Kameron nodding her head with those pursed lips in agreement with whatever Leanne is saying) but Brandi must be kept at a distance 'cause she's so dangerous? In the previews for next week - Stephanie, I really like you, but come on, you don't know where Copenhagen is?
  23. Leanne, you're such a classy woman. I don't get how she is supposedly so acceptable to the charity world but Brandi isn't?
