S09.E16: Meet Rinna Jayne
whydoievencare replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Exactly! I thought that too! Plus I wonder how they do mammogram for people with implants - I mean, exactly how much can they squeeze those things? -

Denise is so rabid about telling everyone about sexual stuff - I'm not sure why she feels the need to overshare about it. Aaron didn't seem pleased that she blabbed to the other HW on the camping trip about his Happy Ending. She's very pushy about it - I find it as unappealing as someone wanting to push their religious beliefs at me. -

Rinna's all about "owning" stuff - unless it's her. Then it's deny, deny, deny. She's really the classic mean girl. -
S09.E15: One Wedding And A Polygraph
whydoievencare replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I'm wondering...was there actually a properly done polygraph? Is the version we saw a re-enacted shortened version? They re-do stuff all the time don't they? -
S11.E12: Luann Land
whydoievencare replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Luann really never listens to what anyone else is saying - she only goes back to the talking points she wants to stick with and has real difficulty acknowledging the other person at all. I remember her being outside on the stairs with Jules (at the Berkshires maybe?) and Jules was upset about her dad being ill and I don't think Luann even responded before beginning to speak about herself. I think she may actually be the most self involved of all the housewives on any of the franchises. -

Why is there a stove in Luann's guest bedroom? Does she rent it out? -
S09.E14: The Show Must Go On

I kind of do. Please don't think less of me. Because otherwise, how would we know they are all having so.much.fun? -
The whole group, including Lisa, poke, poke, poke at James and then they clutch their pearls when he finally reacts.
-
OMG, Brittney has the absolute worst laugh.

I wonder if Hanna didn't feel that her mother was in charge when they moved back to that apartment after Richard died...so they were "little" together? A hard time for Dorinda, a hard time for her daughter. -

You may be right Tattleteeny, but how can I be snarky if I'm also trying to be reasonable???!!! -

We saw Erika taking one tiny bite of pumpkin pie filling with whipped cream - no crust (was that slo mo?), one bite of a cracker with canned cheese.... In one of Erika's earliest episodes - she met Tom for lunch at a restaurant and made some proclamation about always having dessert....and she had one bite (that we saw, anyway). Yep, she's just a regular gal. -
Lala was using it a an excuse to act like an unhinged, foul-mouthed bitch. That's what Lisa V was saying - that such behaviour couldn't just be excused away because of grief.
-
Lala was totally out of control - I wouldn't say the same about Lisa V at all.

S11.E09: Tears of a Clown
whydoievencare replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
You know, reading all the comments, some people are castigating Dale - who can be horrible from what we've seen. However, she had some very good advice for Tinsley at the start of the episode - that Tinsley should just move on from Scott and seems to be difficult for Tinsley to actually do. At the end of the performances at the Circus, Tinsley breaks down and comes at her mother because Tinsley felt her mother wasn't happy enough with Tinsley's performance and she needs her mother's approval, yada yada yada. I think Dale wasn't wrong to tell Tinsley to stop it - in that moment I felt Dale didn't mean specifically to stop being emotional - she meant for Tinsley to stop blaming her for everything that's wrong with Tinsley's life and Tinsley is 43 years old. How long can you blame your mother for everything that's wrong with your life FFS? Tinsley seems so brittle - and sometimes it seems as if she's playing a role - "I'm supposed to be having fun so I'll be FUN and be screaming with laughter". I know she's well-mannered, well educated, has a work ethic. There's a true discrepancy between where she thinks she should be vs where she is and it's sad to see - OTOH perhaps her expectations aren't very realistic. One thing: I REALLY wish everyone on that show would let her actually finish a sentence once in a while. -

Luanne doesn't think she's an alcoholic like other alcoholics - "she's a different kind of alcoholic". Sure. -
S09.E12: The Ultimate Ultimatum
whydoievencare replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
From the internet (so it must be true): Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 23 to 38 in 2019) is considered a Millennial, and anyone born from 1997 onward is part of a new generation. Teddi is 37. -

If someone accused me of something I didn't do and also required that I apologize for that action (that I didn't do) and that they would still love me and we could then move on, blah, blah blah.....I would cut them entirely from my life. And now Denise can go fuck herself too - Lisa V doesn't need to apologize for something she didn't do. These women are crazy. -

Dorit, just like Kyle, tells Lisa V - I still love you even though you gave that story to ROL. I hope Lisa V tells her to go fuck herself. I really like that Ken gets up and walks away. I hope they (Tod and Lisa) stick to their guns. Dorit is a master of trying to turn the tables in every situation. -
Scheana is literally a stage 5 clinger.
-
Scheana has the absolute worst voice - is it the vocal fry? Is it kind of monotone? I can't put my finger on what it is that I hate about it. I just know that I do.

S09.E11: Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

It seems to me that the only ones throwing around the term "best friends" are the Kemsleys and the Kennedys - not LVP and Ken. -

You may be correct, but we just saw PK say to Ken on the phone that Dorit did nothing wrong - how could Lisa V ignore everything that Dorit has done (and PK right along with her). Typical Kemsley - deny, deny, deny. -

In Erika's Talking Heads, her voice is just so affected. As is her whole persona. -

That classic scene from a past season when Lisa V leaves while having a "conversation" with Kyle and Yolanda - "conversation" means that you listen while we accuse you of shit. Isn't that what "conversation" means nowadays?
