  1. My question is, Saul knows that somehow the Russians have infiltrated so he had the offices swept for bugs and nothing panned out there. So wouldn't he try to figure out exactly how they had access without bugs? Allison had been pitting Dar and Saul against each other. Think about it, two guys who've had a shaky, long term "friendship" where some level of distrust exists. It's always been implied that they were more frienemies than besties. So it does stand to reason that Allison knew just which buttons to push with both of them to bring out their claws against each other. She's that proverbial devil on the shoulder. I guess Homeland writers figure you need one annoying character per season, so Laura is it this season. Her annoying focus on publishing the docs without some level of thinking pits her as more reckless than anyone else IMHO. She had no grasp on the largest picture of who gets hurt in all of this.
  2. During seemed two-faced. I guess this episode finally showed this clearly. So, how many episodes before Carrie figured out that Allison is the reason "someone" wants to kill her? Saul is really off his game right now. He's not even seeing the trail of bread crumbs Addison is leaving. She could probably say, "it was me, Saul" and he would be confused.
  3. I'm sad that this is the end already.
  4. They really changed the format during Season 2. I can't decide whether I like it or not. It does feel a lot like Homeland but with so many of the original S1 characters missing.
  5. What I didn't understand was Patterson has in previous weeks, chastised her BF for looking at their pics of the tats because they are "classified". However, this week, we learn that the BF "practically lives there" and she has now plastered the walls with ALL of the secret pics. So, what changed between last week and this one? The case of the week didn't really keep my attention as I fell asleep during the original airing.
  6. Can someone explain if the actor that plays Dash has to stand on a box in his scenes with Meagan to make him look so much taller than her? Based on their "actual" heights, he shouldn't tower over her as some scenes makes it appear.
  7. I read that this episode was completely conceived out of necessity since they needed to cut back on the amount of CGI work and editing needed to pump out one episode. That said, it was cool to see the three of them working together. It would be nice to understand why there are essentially TWO very different worlds - DC with all of the tech along AND places like Fiddler's Neck (tv's answer to organic Amish country for the hipsters). Also, for them to explore why the pre-cogs went in completely different directions while breaking up the band.
  8. You know, I'm wondering if NBC thought it was a bit of a turkey all along and intentionally put it in a DEADLY time slot. Between Thursday night football and ABC's 3-hour Shandaland block AND local news for the old folks - who's left to watch? I'm enjoying the show but knew not to get too attached because was going to get trounced in the ratings predictably.
  9. Another thumbs up for Diane's fabulous suit (although I must take points off for it being a 3/4 length jacket, I can't stand those things!). I dislike that Eli's been (or in the process of being) reduced to a twirling mustache looking for another dastardly deed in the form of how to make Ruth's life miserable. PLEEEASE make this character assassination stop before it really becomes painful. He doesn't have to win everything but good lord, please stop having him slink into this level just to get back at Peter thru Ruth. The sophomoric hijinks with the Assisted Suicide stuff was just silly. (Although, I LOL'd over his remark to Mama Florrick, "I've never seen you show so much cleavage" - pans back to her wearing a blouse with barely a sliver of skin shown far far above a "cleavage".) Dunno how I feel about Alicia and Lucca (who's pretty obviously Kalinda 2.0) joining forces for what will probably be the 900th iteration of a Florrick law firm. JDM is pretty much playing the same character he's ever played on tv...some form of the sexy man with equal parts of sweetness and badass. Or, basically as the love interest of a major character. I liked him on Extant. Not sure, why they choose to have Alicia act surprised at his backstory when it was relayed in court. Or does that point to the fact that she's a bit of a crappy lawyer who forgot to do a thorough background check into the person you want to hire? I like Eyebrows of Justice, I really do - but I don't like watching them on both L&O:SVU and TGW episodes airing in the same week. Cannings antics are played for comic relief which I enjoy. He really should take his act to a local dinner theater during his down time. I LOVED how Diane never missed a beat with her cross while simultaneously opening his medication AND asking how many he wanted. Kinda like a multi-tasking mom. LOL
  10. I didn't know that Matthew Goode (Finn) was also playing a recurring role on Downton Abbey in S6.
  11. I would definitely second the nomination for Rollins mother....who willfully ignored evidence that her daughter, Kim was up to no good AND in trouble. Crazy lady indeed. I would also consider the mother of Humphrey Becker (from 'Scavenger'), who had an obsession with Humphrey Bogart which resulted in her cruel version of mental and emotional abuse heaped on her son who turned into a serial killer. Even with the police she couldn't help but continue to compare her son's failing to the "greatness" of Humphrey Bogart. It was slyly revealed that she would leave her son at home alone to go watch his movies...but she locked him in a closet to keep him safe, just to be sure and all. Ann Meara played this role perfectly.
  12. She wasn't legally drunk, BUT, she had alcohol in her system. The network has been looking for a reason to get rid of her. They could invoke the so-called morals clause in her contract and dump her.Cece realized this when the network overplayed their hand and tried to pay her off too early in the process. Why exactly was SNC quick to offer a payoff if they didn't see some level of culpability in this?. They certainly weren't doing it to help MJ as Cece correctly pointed out.
  13. I didn't see MJ as being mean to David. She was a woman who was finally done with him and his passive aggressive reactions. They consistently hurt each other, broke up and made up in vicious cycle for years simply because neither was willing to let go completely. With the betrayal, MJ finally felt done and took the steps she hadn't been able to take before. He played a large part of the wedge between MJ and Lisa. If you listen closely to his exchange with MJ, he was quick to say "It's not your fault" with little to no acknowledgement of his role in this mess. Yes, I get that he was hurting, but he was wrong to squarely put this on MJ. I'm glad this was a strong episode that addressed tough issues such as depression, mental illness, suicide and toxic relationships. Lisa was beautiful, accomplished and tortured. There are so many women like her and I'm glad it was addressed in a realistic way, not for laughs or with a quick 5 minute wrap up.
  14. Did the weird boob lady also have work on her face at the the time of taping?. Her face was misshapen and by the end of the episode she looked like a completely different person. My guess was she had cheekbones and maybe a face lift.
  15. If Amanda still has a job by the end of this season, I think I'm going to tap out. This episode underscored the reasons why Amanda needs to fired. Her vices are bad enough but this is not the first time her sister has involved her in behavior that's fireable. Pls let them wrap this storyline up quickly.
