  1. She wasn't throwing her own party at first. Her sister, who was in charge, cancelled at the last minute and left Jocelyn less than a day to organise it. I guess going to her friends on the day they were due to come to her party didn't seem like an option, hence finding someone she assumed would be able to throw a party together in next to no time. David politely avoiding all her not so subtle hints was a thing of beauty. The guest actors in this episode - Klair and the head of MADLY - were both so great at giving us their entire characters in so few scenes. Brava! Every time Mutt is mentioned I'm momentarily confused that he was ever in the show and even more surprised that Jocelyn and Rolly are his parents. I wonder if he'll return for a visit when his baby brother is born or he'll go the way of Chuck Cunningham?
  2. Well, that was confusing. It's too early in the season to have a bunch of lookalike queens playing characters in a fast paced sketch. Was that Monique or Monet? Or Mayhem? Cracker or Aquaria? Dusty or that muscly one? I'm getting better at distinguishing them all in the workroom but I gave up during the 'musical'. Eureka is annoying but I give her props for answering Ru's "How's your leg?" with "No complaints". Oh, one more thing: what's a Halsey?
  3. I'm guessing the winner's portrait in the Hall of Fame will be titled Shangela [OfBenDeLaCreme].
  4. Heh, Donathon had never even seen a black guy until last week.
  5. Rachel's ex being Patrick was such a great reveal; I did not see that coming. ["Who is she? I glanced down at my plate for two seconds"] I love this show.
  6. According to her interview in Vulture dot com DeLa said she chose Morgan so she'd have a chance to showcase her talents as she'd only had one episode to do that, while Aja had had four. Sweet, savvy and generous.
  7. So what 'Game of Thrones' storyline will Shangela liken Dela's actions to next week? I don't watch GoT so she's already lost me with that whole analogy, but I may not even tune in to hear it - the air has gone out of the season for me now Dela's departed. I fast forwarded through the drama at the beginning of the episode and was surprised at how long I had to keep holding the button down.
  8. I suspect she's been shoving people into lockers since middle school. If Donathon really is the only gay in his village, I wonder if we'll get an uncomfortable virgin storyline like last season's Jessica [who was also from Kentucky!] Speaking of the gays - as an old show queen every time I hear "reverse the curse" I hear Bernadette's Peters' voice: "You wish to have the curse reversed? I'll need a certain potion first".
  9. Renaming the motel to include Stevie's [partial] surname was a nice touch, but Johnny just told her "whatever decisions we make, we make together". I'd really like more Stevie/Alexis scenes; especially when Alexis is overconfidently pushing ahead with a plan. The return of Ray for the photoshoot was inspired. Nitpick: it seemed strange that Stevie and Alexis weren't there for the Open Mic - it's not like Schitt's Creek has many competing options on a school night.
  10. Neely O'Hara got cut because "The only hit that comes out of a Helen Lawson show is Helen Lawson, and that's ME, baby!"
  11. I wish the top two had been DeLa and Kristen Chenoweth. Shangela probably got there for her fantastic throwaway diss of Chi Chi's M[a]ya: "Spelling bee winner".
  12. Milk interviewing everybody's new favourite gay Olympian Adam Rippon. On ice!
  13. Jeffrey Bower Chapman is a snack. Kudos to Chi Chi for taking advantage and chowing down. Thorgy did Michael Jackson; it was not great.
  14. Trevor the violinist guessed as well, figuring Kafka was "pretty dark". Same here. Totally meh on all the other teams. I'll be going with The Amazing Race Canada when that returns, though.
  15. On his instagram Chris said they were "just buds".
  16. “Earnest words of encouragement” If I didn’t already love Team Well Strung for superficial reasons, Trevor’s dry delivery would have won me over. Thank goodness they’re still in the race. Now get them somewhere hot so Chris can take his shirt off.
  17. I agree Team WellStrung are invisible and I'm looking out for them! Dis-appointed [shout-out to TAR1's Karyn] it was a NEL; I wouldn't miss any of the three teams that were last to arrive.
  18. The only thing better would have been if Team Hot Violinists has been pianists.
  19. Damn, I hope Devon and Ashley hooked up at Ponderosa. I loved how everyone else referred to Devon as "a kid" [but in a complimentary way].
  20. I'll miss Jimmy and Mickey's dysfunction. What happened to the Colonel? It's been a couple of episodes since Tippy left him with Mickey and company, and he hasn't been seen since.
  21. Oh no, they must be planning an all male alliance! Said no-one, ever. What's up with that?
  22. This why they shouldn't go to the All-Stars well too often; it starts to dry up if you don't let enough seasons pass in the meantime. [Project Runway is a case in point] I'm looking forwarding to seeing Chi Chi with a little cash to back her up, and Ben DeLaCreme will always be welcome if she has another classic Snatch Game character in her. The others? Meh Where's that adorable dark horse Joslyn Fox?
  23. Cole couldn’t even stop himself from blabbing his guilt when Jessica paused between sentences. Poor Jessica; shoulda aligned with Dr Mike, who did a helluva job faking his ignorance in front of Ben and Lauren, but alas he does not have the chiselled abs of the built like/dumb as a rock Cole. Can’t say I blame her.
  24. There are so many reasons to be happy that Patrick got the boot but, for me, the most pressing was that he was finally out of the sun. That boy was getting redder by the second. To be honest, I haven't paid their faces a lot of attention but, body wise, Cole.
