  1. Kudos to Yanu for listing the hardships they had endured and being classy enough not to mention Bhanu! Loved how the other tribes were kind of happy for them.
  2. I guess Hannah knew that eliminating Marina would incur the wrath of the fans, but it's foolish to let her anywhere near a lip sync finale. Just hand her the crown. I'll be happy with any of the final four winning; they're all so endearing.
  3. Where are they finding these people? Bhanu who couldn't do anything right, Moriah who can't jump, Liz who's allergic to everything? Is this a make a wish season? Venus just simply handed it over this time; she's learned from experience.
  4. It's pronounced Randen. 😉
  5. This is all I could think of during Maya and Rohan's parking problem. Way too many emotional back stories for one episode. After last season's likeable cast this one seems like slim pickings.
  6. Previously on Survivor: Q can't abide quitters. [Record scratch] Wait, what? So the moral of this episode was if you whinge to god enough, a rival will be struck down??
  7. Carol asking why ghosts could walk through walls but not fall through furniture made me wonder if she's ever posted here. 👻
  8. She went on about it for so long I forgot that her team hadn't lost and fully expected her to be voted out at Tribal. It was on Survivor UK a couple of months ago.
  9. Season 2: fun premiere and a great mix of queens I'm familiar with and many I'm not. Tia Kofi has lost none of her narration skills. La Grande Dame is an absolute stunner and Mariana Summers is a force of nature. And I've long been a fan of Scarlet Envy. Correct two in the bottom and not surprised at the elimination. Settling in for an entertaining season.
  10. I loved the episode but I'm still bothered by the revelation that Dot [of all people!] didn't attend Witt's funeral or even thought to ask about his family details for an entire year. The fact that he had a cat named Lucky was just salt in the wound.
  11. The New Year's Treat lived up to its name. Great, fun cast. I'd like to see Kojey Radical on a regular season.
  12. Remind me never to listen to a band in Seattle. My ears will never recover. I'm also sad Joel and Garret were pipped at the post, but it was an enjoyable, yet nerve-wracking, finale.
  13. She is Mrs Bruce, so somebody must have hit on her at least once. Could Cousin Dashell conveniently rethink his proposal when he realises he'll have to support Aunts Agnes and Ada as well...and they're not even related by blood [or is that just Marion?]
  14. Rule number one: never turn down the gift of a beachside Fire Island house. Rule number two: find a lover who retains his perfect body over twenty years, no matter how much he abuses it.
  15. So nice to be going into the finale without having an "anyone but..." team there to add to the tension. The final three is such a lovely collection of male relationships: father/son, brother/brother, best friends. They speak so lovingly of each other which is a pleasant change from the usual macho crap in the world.
  16. She already had my sympathy for having to put up with Bruce. Although I did feel for Bruce tonight, thinking about him watching the beginning of the episode at home and witnessing how overexcited everyone was at his demise.
  17. That was a terribly low impact way to win so much money.
  18. If the final game is a feat of strength, watch out for Sam #16.
  19. Phil's gift box radar was a thing to behold, and I loved the theatrical way he accused the culprits.
  20. Awww, that moment when John, Garret and Todd started dancing together. Dammit, if only Rob & Corey didn’t tell Anna Leigh & Steve that a bus wasn’t a subway… I would love to be served in a restaurant [or anywhere] by John, who is a total dreamboat. I really thought Todd & Chelsea’s "amazing comeback" was going to come about by Anna Leigh berating Steve into a heart attack. This was the tensest leg in a long time.
  21. My favourite bit was the Dragon Master intoning "Your work here is done" then switching to his normal voice for "The exit is to the right..." I can never decide if I love Greg & John or Rob & Corey more.
  22. Morgan went to business school; Lena didn't know her left from her right [or her sixes from her nines].
  23. The gorgeousness of Slovenia was overwhelmed by the incessant whining of Anna Leigh and Steve. Rob and Corey's relationship is a thing of beauty.
