Did you get the feeling that Sara wanted more with Oliver or more in general?
-
But the arrow doesn't look like it is in his arm, just in the general vicinity of it. That's what I'm having a problem with. I'm starting to fanwank that Oliver is chosing these shirts to send Felicity subliminal messages. Look at my dad shirt. Doesn't it spell reliability, someone who you'd spend the rest of your life with and hand eleventy brilliant gorgeus kids with? Again?

I like to think Oliver would be a gentleman and give her the first go at Malcolm. Cheer her on from the sidelines.
-
That theory doesn't work for me because of Felicity's reaction. I have a hard time believing Felicity would be apologetic towards Malcolm ever. Like if she "accidentally" poked his kidney with one of Oliver's arrows, I think she'd be, Sorry, not sorry.

Do they have the habit of putting unfinished material in the promos? And this one is Australian. Why would they get unfinished material? I think it's just low quality that's making it hard to discern. Then again, I believe there are still people who believe Oliver called Felicity "hun" in the season premiere, while I never heard anything but "huh". I took a closer look at some promos and Lord Almighty, Malcolm brings LOA henchmen to the lair with him. Danger, danger, Will Robinson. Also, why does Oliver look to be in pain here? I don't see VS actually hurting him there in any way. Is that his favorite arrow or did VS kick him in the groin and the camera didn't catch it?

Aside from the honey issue, they still have time to fight Ghosts on the crossover? Are we even sure that Team Flash gets there by this point? All I see are Oliver and Thea in that super quick cut. The fact that they're fighting on Argus property makes me irrationally pumped. Maybe because of last year's crossover.

I'm listening to it again and it doesn't really sound like honey to me. More, Felicity, unable... fight when you’re doing that in my ear.
-
Oh, if it's honey, it's got to be Oliver. I don't think either Barry or Ray are dumb enough to call her that. Although, I'm kind of against Oliver using terms of endearment, becuause I feel like her name is the biggest term of endearment for him. Still, probably better than Felicity over the coms.

What does the voice (Barry?) answer, Felicity, not able to...?

Thanks for the rec, thegirlsleuth. It's really good and I appreciate the balance. There's both issues and happiness, but it never veers into either dreary or schmoopy. The Roy chapter is the best chapter. I'm convinced that Roy and Felicity used to have movie nights as is (maybe they still do it long distance and they comment via phone), but it's the Queens that got me there, their baseball geek out and the Queen Munchie Mix. Those things sound so believable and compliant with the characters. Plus, there's Thea so happy for Oliver being happy.

Well, they could have them handling garden variety criminals. Or have those fled SC along with the general populace? Is no one knocking over liquor stores anymore? Aside from Sara on a rampage, all we've had are Ghosts and Anarky and Double Down, who were both Darhk's hires. I'm ready for things to be shaken up a bit. Or to have a scene with regular crooks and drug dealers holed up in a - wait for it - warehouse, bitching about these damn Ghosts getting everywhere before they do. Actually, no. There must still be some thugs out there, Sara ended up attacking them before being re-souled.

Two things surprise me in this account. They were talking about Barry in the summer before S2 even though he only appeared in episode 8? Wow. I mean I loved 2x08 and 2x09 and Barry in them, and it makes sense due to the spin-off but somehow it still surprised me. The other thing is announcing Caity Lotz as an unidentified character. That one just makes me laugh. Like, who the hell else would she be? Unless they were maybe considering a Shado - Mei situation. Sara's lost twin. Or maybe snatching her doppelganger ancestor on one of the trips back in time.
-
The results are 86% in her favor.

Present time - real time?

Yeesh! You need to purge your Twitter feed. Honestly, the things you state you would be okay with are in keeping with the show itself and the one about the bay and CPR is the one I think will happen. Although personally I'd prefer a kidnapping since Felicity would play an active role in getting free, much like she did when Cooper kidnapped her and Donna.

I'm with way2interested on this. The speculation gets very dark at times and is then taken for granted. I'm willing to bet here and now that 50% of that list doesn't happen. Could it be that people are just tired of waiting for Oliver to kick ass again? I know I am. I don't want Felicity hurt, but I do want him mowing through six baddies without stopping to draw breath.

Fair enough. Although I don't see the kid really being part of the show, maybe just a casual mention and then he's trotted out when someone wants to threaten Oliver. Which is actually my beef with the storline if he turns up to be Oliver's. He's not going to be used as part of the narrative at all. Why even introduce him then at all?
-
I honestly still think chances are good it isn't his kid at all. But if it is, I don't see it as having a negative effect on Oliver and Felicity as a couple. For one, I am firmly on the side that there is no way he will keep this secret from her. Over the past two episodes we had him going to Dig when Felicity was freaking out, and going to Felicity to talk over DD's offer. This is not a man who keeps things bottled up anymore. And since I'm working from this viewpoint, I believe Felicity knows of the kid when she accepts Oliver's proposal. Implying that she's OK with that fact. From where I'm sitting, there's no reason she wouldn't be. The fling predates them by not only years but a lifetime of experiences. Would she have passed up on Oliver if this came to be known before they got together, say in last year's crossover? I really don't think so.
-
I may be overconfident but I'm convinced that all the fretting about the kid and how Oliver and Felicity deal with him and the mom is going to end up like 'Felicity throwing Dig under the bus' last week. A mountain out of a molehill.
-
At least they get to re-use their Lazarus Pit chamber set?
-
It's not really important at all, it's just something I noticed at a point in season 1 and can't unnotice it.
-
I noticed because there's a dearth of brown eyed people on this show. It's Diggle and Lance. And that's it.
-
It's Barry's jacket that Felicity is wearing in one of the stills.
