The Darkest Hour by ckksac, the story that starts with GA rescuing a kidnapped Felicity from captivitiy, has been updated. It's a great chapter. Felicity is getting better and definitely connecting the dots. I was positive everything would click for her by the end of the chapter. Moira is very true to her Season 1 self, and Oliver makes a complete adorable putz of himself.

Snicker. The one where he's her goofy prom date.

Either the one in my area doesn't have those or my friends didn't see them. Maybe thhat's an American practice, because I haven't really noticed that. This is very true and not something that appeals to me. It's not anything philosophical, I just get tired and bored with all the (often) harsh lights and music. One of my first goals if I ever get rich enough (so maybe in another life) is to hire a personal shopper who would get things to my place and then I'd be able to peruse them at leisure. I know there's the Internet, but I do want to see some things in real space and touch and feel others. If I'm talking about gripes it's that I find standard clothing numbers aren't that standard at all. I stay the same, yet my clothes run from small to large, with two or three extra small shirts thrown in, which is beyond ridiculous. I haven't been extra small a day in my life. Maybe if I stood with an NFL team. That is why I don't shop for clothes online.

Apropos of nothing, Pinterest really bothers me for letting you see an image for like 3 seconds and then demanding registration. It comes off as manipulative and I don't care for that. It's also the reason why I reject Ikea. It hasn't been open that long near me, a year or two, and all my friends rave about it. Apart from not really wanting the same stuff everyone else has and it appearing huge (I got fatigued leafing through their catalogue), the set up which leads you through every part of the store before leading you to the cash registers and exits is such a transparent move, that I find it offensive.

The writer has my full support on it being a lame storytelling device to use for only a few episodes. I even understand the point about not all disabled people wanting to be "cured" and I may see Felicity reacting like this if she were in the wheelchair for a few years and that became a defining part of her. Being as it's been a couple of months, this is a deviation for her and wanting to go back to what's normal for her comes as completely understandable to me.

And it didn't explain his thought process at all.

You should make your own fun. Somebody on Twitter commented the photos of Laurel and Samantha with, 'talk about a type'. And now I'm giggling as I imagine dumb Ollie being conditioned to interpret crossed arms as a mating call.

Maybe they hold keggers there on the team's nights off. Seriously, I'm almost positive Curtis will be there before the season ends. At this point, why shouldn't he? He's been actively and knowingly helping GA since 4x03. It certainly makes him more trustworthy than some.
-
Eh, I don't really care about that part all that much.
-
Thing is, this was actually true in the first two seasons. That's when the mood shifted to blood.

Not that I think Ollie was any judge of character (though he did realize what an ass Carter Bowen was, I'll give him that), but I doubt she'll turn evil.
-
The thing is, this isn't just Oliver's call. If there is one decision that required a team vote this entire season, it would be this one. And it should require agreement from every team member, not a majority vote. The presence of an unknown person puts them all at risk.

I am honestly not the tiniest bit worried that Felicity is going to be presented as the bad guy for getting upset, angry and/or hurt. If I was afraid of anything, it would be that she as a character will wave everything away. Oh, I understand you both perfectly. You've had it so hard these few months. Hey, it makes no sense to me when I take Felicity as she's been presented over the past three and a half years, but it would simply make her another victim to this plot. She wouldn't be the first.

I did. It's a stupid and overused line, I always notice it.

I don't really care about KC's thoughts here since I don't detect anything like that in her performance. And the fact that Oliver had sex with someone else 10 years ago does not bother me. The lie and Samantha apparently being trustworthy enough to get an invite into their top secret lair does. It's this that kills me. She sees all team members and knows their identities plus Lance's entanglement with them. That's where my mind boggles. What makes them think she won't give them away in a hot second the next time William goes missing. The "family" thing doesn't work either. Oliver never told Moira, she sussed it out herself. And it took him years to bring Thea down to the lair and tell her he was the Arrow. It would be really nice if Thea actually got into a snit over that, but I expect her to invite Samantha to a mani-pedi after William is rescued.

I'm not at all bothered by the fact that all three of them slept with Oliver. After all, Oliver was perfectly capable of working with Ray. If there was no lie there, both Laurel's and BM's entanglements with Oliver would have been years and worlds removed from Felicity.
-
I'm hoping Lance stays with them. You just know he's going to bond with Oliver now over the fact that they're both fathers. Never mind that Lance has been a total douche to Oliver undeservedly multiple times and this should be a reminder of what a shithead he was to Lance's own daughter.

I don't know why, but I'm convinced Connor won't have any connection to Oliver.Apparently, Felicity isn't wearing her ring in the scene wih Darhk. http://saidthebutterfly.tumblr.com/post/139645484888/um-guys-has-anyone-else-noticed-that-not-only-is It kills me that Samantha gets waredrobe changes in this episode. How long is she at the lair? Do she and Lance toss a coin for te top bunk?

Sara will be in her early 30s at that point in time. I really don't see how she would be able to have a grown up son then.SA's latest Facebook video has him on the loft set in his GA suit.

His decorating abilities weren't that bad. The crashed airplane didn't look nearly as bad as it could have.
-
Psst. Don't tell Oliver, but Damien's better at Battleship. And he taught me magic! Want to see me tighten that man's tie right around his neck?
-
During next week's likely teary family reunion I hope William tells all and sundry that he left with Darhk willingly. Why? He said he was your friend, Mom.
-
kismet, that's sort of mean, yet accurate. I applaud you.

Ha! I saw the retweets but it seemed like a less than wise life choice, so I didn't want to encourage him. The background makes me rethink that attitude. SA retweeting it is super funny.
