I guess he just can't be bothered then.

Ivo didn't but I was thinking more along the lines of this Ivo being his family memeber - wife, child. However, it is more than likely that it was HIVE and the sound in the promo is just unclear. Anyone being connected on this show doesn't phase me anymore. What I want to know is when did Slade father this kid? I mean, from his age, maybe in the ARGUS prison at the island? So, per the sneak peeks and the producer's preview for LoT, the lair was attacked after Grant Slade outed Oliver as GA. Make it so that it was because he got his hands on the video.

I don't think it was, but has Darhk actually killed anyone dead by choking them since that hot Ghost? Maybe he was actually never strong enough to do it. Sure, his magic is strong enough to freak you the hell out and you'd probably be screwed if you had a bad heart, but there's just not enough there to get it done. This has been consistent with Felicity since she has been faced with any romantic relationship. Even last season, she gravitated towards Ray because she felt he included her. He wants a partner in his work and in his life!

You know what I've just realized? Felicity's pink raincoat is the same she wore in 3x09 when Oliver left to die and in 3x12 when she was done with him. Nicely done.

Maybe she visits The Flash and we can hear about what she's thinking and feeling then.

I know! He didn't even get to say hi to the kid this episode. No, hey, Oliver, it's so nice that you came to see me from William at the police station.
-
I noticed his names and almost cheered. There was a split second where I hoped he would off Poppy. But it's OK. I'm still holding onto the hope that Oliver's the one to do it. I loved this part! Maybe William even finds out about the uncashed check and decides to get what he has a right to by selling the video to media. Or he just joins the supervillain du jour to get back at Dad.

They were filming 4x17 on the third. I know SA didn't mention the hospital, but his tweet and a photo with CR on that set made it seem like a valid guess that he would be in the hospital.

In the end, I'm not surprised they didn't go all out. The writers played with their toy for a bit, got bored and then shoved it into a corner to collect dust.

There is a very good point I've seen raised on Tumblr and it's that Felicity is letting Oliver in and she's not feeling he's reciprocating. At the beginning of this episode she told him about wanting to be able to walk down the isle and you could tell she felt she was being silly, like in the grand scheme of things does it matter if she walks in time for their wedding or some time after? But she feels safe enough with Oliver to let him see what she perceives as weakness or silliness. Right now, it doesn't seem he feels he can allow himself the same liberty. On an unrelated note, what the hell was that animated line? I get it was referencing the animated series, but this is supposedly amidst a crisis where a child is missing and Oliver's all apple cheeked and smiley while cracking wise. Way to ratched up the tension. Is Darhk a novice kidnapper? There was not a single threat of what would happen to William if Oliver didn't play along. Renounce your candidacy! Or what? ...I'll take away his crayons! I think it was a reference to the animated series, not this episode.

That makes sense. But at what point do they transfer him to the hospital then? Maybe after everything in the lair crashes or it has been compromised AGAIN. I'm assuming this is what happens because Laurel is presumably using tha cry against someone.

Since Oliver's fighting for his life in the next episode, does anyone have any guesses on why CR was on the hospital set during the filming of 4x17? Do we have any other pics from that set? I'm trying to remember if the Diggle place was used at all in 4x06. SA, EBR and CR took BTS pics there then and Oliver, Felicity and Donna (sadly) didn't come over to Dig's for dinner. Maybe the set isn't used in the episode at all?

JSevick's Forver A short, post-4x15 fic for those who felt cheated out of a gutwrenching break up. It offers some Felicity's post-breakup perspective. It's really short but thight. It packs a punch and gets to the point in a small word count.

He suspended it, but I still found it funny that it came after Felicity pointed out that doing the same thing over and over was the definition of insanity, and then Oliver himself reflected on how he's had previous experience on Darhk not honoring deals. I would have been more fine with it if he had thrown in that he had to try regardless. We saw the totem sometime at the beginning of the season. He used to keep it in his commode, the same one which Oliver opened in 4x10 to find Anaky had beaten him to the punch. I very much enjoyed that look Felicity cast at Thea.

Was there anything in the episode that at all indicated Oliver has seen William and gone to CC since the crossover? Because I sure didn't pick up on it. She did get to throw in some snarky remarks that I thoroughly enjoyed. The list of people who didn't know about William would be shorter was a thing of beauty. Although it was also painful because I imagined her going 1. me, 2... in her head. I didn't either. It felt cheap. Just him standing up when she did would have made it better for me. I found Laurel comforting Samantha hilarious. Here are the things I have no issue with: 1. Laurel placing more blame on Oliver, who was the one in a relationship with her. 2. Her telling Samantha that finding her kid was more important at the time. Things I have issue with: Laurel completely absolving her, when we find out they were actually friends. Oh my God. That and people who knew about William coming out was like Comedy Central. As for the other thing, Thea was 12 when The Gambit went down.

As I said, Curtis has proven to be on the team's side and to be trustworthy. I don't need or actively want him in the lair, but I won't begrudge him getting there when he does. Does Malcolm tell Darhk that Ivo is going forward with Genesis? It cannot be that I rightly used the graveyard scene soundtrack to connect it with the island. Originally I thought it must be a connection to Slade, but later on I noticed it was the same score used the first time Amazo was shown. Maybe Ivo's wife actually survived her disease and is even crazier than he was. Or Alex iss Ivo's kid and not Slade's, as has been speculated.

No, it was the other way around. Mary chased Strallen off in retribution for Edith blabbing about Pamuk by telling him how she and Edith laughed themselves silly about an old dude being after Edith. Hey, that was probably the start of Edith's literary career, she did it via letter! I think Edith unveiled the Pamuk thing after she overheard Cora mollifying Mary that Edith had no shot with anyone, anyway. Cora and Robert were pretty uncapable parents at times No wonder those girls would turn feral on each other.

This. If people want to see it that way, let them. What was actually on screen was a collected Felicity who helped get the kid back and was super polite to his mother, and then after he was safe and away and she was not consulted on that decision either, she decided she has had enough.
-
Honestly, it was better than expected in some aspects. Namely: Thea's finally done with Malcolm and acknowldges Robert as her father. Praise Jesus. Oliver also points out that he's only poor dumb William's biological father. Felicity is allowed to be hurt and to express it. Darhk is darkly entertaining. Laurel's scene with Lance at the precinct is KC's best one on the show hands down, no throwing shade here. Very good work.

No, those are episodes 22 and 23.

I'm not advocating it, just preparing myself for it if it actually happens. I've already said that my preferred route would be Cupid and her Ken and Barbie dream wedding.
