How did you read Oliver returning the photo to Laurel? I imagined it would be some sort of closure and I guess it could have been, only it wasn't really explicit IMO. Maybe I'm just distracted by everything else with Laurel in the past two episodes which has led me to believe that Oliver simply tried to cut any and all ties with the crazy lady.

That's beyond adorable. And look, it's season 1 Felicity in the first one and she's patting his head. <3

I think the smirk was a valid choice but I still think she's terribad in this part. I don't need to like her character at all, but I find some (most) of her choices dubious. If it turns out she's not 100% human by the end of the season, like maybe Darhk grew her in a cornfield or something, I won't be really surprised.

But can't you see? Laurel's always seen the best in Oliver and in his bones. She knew deep down. Even while sniping at him and setting up the Arrow to be captured by SCPD.

It also doesn't look like Laurel's. It's just a lame mask IMO.

i don't really get this either. I can understand reviewers having to watch shows they don't like for work. Everyone has to do an equivalent of that at some point. But how is it suddenly not a part of her job?

I still think the writers are doing this intentionally. It's impossible to achieve this level of wrong by happenstance. Yes, they're saying Laurel Lance is a hero, but they're showing Laurel chose to be BC solely to get closer to Oliver. That's all her last two episodes accomplished.

I didn't even catch that until I saw people pointing it out online. I wonder who called her then. I'm actuallyy leaning more towards Thea given Dig's state of mind in this episode. But yeah, it is really nice, Felicity quietly reaffirming her place on the team. Lance not blaming himself was a welcome surprise. I didn't expect that they would give him Darhk's message, but it's not really hard to figure out given that he habitually threatened him with just that.

I imagine they lost. Every time I voted, it seemed like the percentage was going down. Or maybe I was just bad look so they bounced back up once I quit. They were at roughly 45% the last time I checked on Wednesday.

I'm too lazy to look for photos, but the white totem in the next episode is the yang to DD's idol's yin as far as I can tell. DD's is black with white detailing, the next week's thing is the opposite. I'm guessing it's about striking balance in that case.

I thought Kreisberg wasn't really involved with Arrow anymore. Why was he interviewed?

I know people are focusing on her butt, but look at that thigh flexing. It really makes me want to work out. Maybe she and Oliver can hold a flex off during slow nights in the lair. His pecs vs. her quads. I don't know about season 3, but it was used in 210 Blast Radius. I may have watched those scenes a few times. I had more substantial things to say about this episode but the forum has been soundly kicking my butt and I forgot it all.

Laurel's eulogy to Tommy was just bad. I know she wasn't prepared, but sheesh, she could and should have done better than "not just a billionaire playboy". How about Tommy wanting to change and grow, to help, about being a brother to Oliver and Thea, and in the end, giving his life to save her like two days prior?! He should have gotten a hero shout out.

I don't think they'll be portraying Oliver's hunt for DD to be motivated solely by Laurel in the slightest. He adds stopping DD from hurting anyone else in the promo.
