Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
becauseIsaidso replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Just learned about this pig having the utter audacity to sue her mouthpiece....may they counter sue for an equal number of millions (that neither party will ever see) and bring ALL the dirty lies and evasions out for all the world to see. She is so totally greedy and stupid that she can not see how this can't possibly make things any better for her. Is she thinking this last minute tactic will keep her out of jail? I can't imagine any attorney (actually practicing and NOT of the twerp Marcrazy wannabee variety) NOT having their asses totally covered when dealing with such scum as the JOOdices/JooooDEEEchays/JOOOduhchays/or whateverthehelltheyarecallingthemselvesnow...it's not even entertaining anymore. It truly boggles the mind. But then again - I live in the real world, so what the hell do I know. -
Season 5 Speculation WITH Spoilers (US)
becauseIsaidso replied to Rhondinella's topic in Downton Abbey [V]
Sweet Holy Hell!!! MPBN's Downton Abbey Revisited is ok - BUT - has Bernadette Peters been replaced with some sort of automaton? She sounds like a wooden figure, stiff, NO expression or emotion at all! Quite takes all of my attention away from the rehash and speculation of what season 5 has to bring - and I used to like her (Bernadette) so much! What the hell happened to her? -
S06.E18: Reunion Part 3
becauseIsaidso replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Now that I've seen all three parts of the reunion, all I can say is Teresa Joodice is one cold bitch. I found it especially telling when, in an effort to defend herself against the charge of hitting below the belt, she claimed she NEVER hurt Jac - who {loony or not} very conveniently wasn't there to object to that claim...did the RV trip never happen?, did the make up at the resort in the southwest never happen?...I'll follow these boards until the bitch is safely in jail where she, by virtue of her own actions, belongs - but once I can see the proof that justice has indeed been served rather than (yet again) perverted, I'll be done with her. If NJ comes back for a new season with no Teresa [other than by way of wrapping up her involvement with the franchise, to say something about where she's gone post-prison] I'll tune in only long enough to see which way the wind has blown - as long as it's Joodice-free, I may just watch to see how Bravo attempts to rehab the show. -
Coronation Street - General Discussion
becauseIsaidso replied to BubblingKettle's topic in Coronation Street
Back when I first discovered Corrie - this was when the accident was about occur at the factory and Paul Connor was alive and Leanne was on her way out as a pros and blackmailed Paul....anyhow....I 'met' both these women at the same time and COULD NOT STAND either of them....but...as time has passed, Carla has grown on me and Leanne has turned into a totally reprehensible and unmitigated fishwife...how strange is it that I would have bet anything that it would have turned out the opposite....anyhow....I am rather caught up in the current storylines for Carla, Peter, even Todd....not so much Leanne as I can not fathom how she ever got to be the primary caregive for Simon and where in the hell she got custody of him....Roy's dealings with the bullies is too much as so many others have gone - how I would LOVE to see him turn into some sort of senior karate kid and beat the crap out of his tormentors...Tracy is, in spite of her recent actions in turning Peter in, a pathetic one-note who will NEVER do anything other than blame someone else for her troubles, I would be quite happy to see her OFF the 'street' forever....Sally is a snooze fest...Tim only a bit less so...I've loved Fiz since before John Stape came along....never could understand whatever Ashley was saying, so he and Claire are not much missed...I wish Steve and Michelle would get on with it or call it off forever - some things just drag on TOO long! So many more to comment on, but it's been a long week and I'm tired so I'll just say, for all its perceived faults and somewhat boggled storylines, Corrie is still the BEST SOAP going! -
S06.E18: Reunion Part 3
becauseIsaidso replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Haven't yet seen part 3, but when I heard T had said this, and as much as I think she is an absolutely, vulgar, crass, skanky, felonious, stupid, self-serving, egotistical, narcissistic POS, I do agree that not being able to imagine life without having her kids around is what she must have meant. After all, who else is there who will always make her look good, and who gives her that ever-so tenuous grasp on the title of 'amazing mom' (which makes me want to puke every time I hear it)? -
S06.E18: Reunion Part 3
becauseIsaidso replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Haven't seen this last part of the reunion yet, but Theresa doing the sad fare-thee-well probably bit sounds more like a ploy on her part to get all her vast legions of fans to overpower TPTB at Bravo with a deluge of protests...the only thing that would get me to watch this show again would be the absence of all things joooooodice. I like the suggestion another poster made about possibly moving the geographic focus of the show to another part of NJ and revamping with a new cast - although I would still like to see how a season with Manzo/Laurita/Wakilies/Gorgas, a couple of newbies and no-twins, no-Ambuh & the twit would fare....it seems to me that if even Jogo, whom I have oft referred to as a Neanderthal, has rehabilitated his image a bit, it could be worth watching. -
S06.E16: Reunion Part 1
becauseIsaidso replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I wish I could give 5 'thumbs up' to this....you've summed it up perfectly. Teresa sat on that couch throughout the reunion with the biggest pout on her puss! I don't give a rats ass if her heart 'was beating 500'. All she has to do to stop it all is just admit it...for once...just admit she did what she's already pled guilty to and be done with it. I don't even like the bitch AT ALL yet would be totally satisfied if I could hear JUST ONE sincere admission and apology... Most of us, by the time we are emotional adults (as opposed to simply reaching the threshold of chronological adulthood) have a sense of self awareness/ethics/conscience and the stones to suck it up and admit when we are/have done wrong. It sucks knowing you've been a total douche and owe someone an apology; it's rather humiliating to face that person and deliver said apology, sincerely, humbly, and (most importantly) truthfully...been there, done that...but the feeling you get when you recognize that, because of the process of recognizing and publicly admitting your guilt/fault, you have become a better human being is the BEST feeling ever...something that I do believe Teresa will NEVER have the privilege of experiencing. Her loss. -
S06.E16: Reunion Part 1
becauseIsaidso replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Not a Jac or Juicy fan either, but IIRC, Jac was demanding Juicy repeat what he had said to others, which was that Jac was a stripper (or something like that) when she met Chris, and apparently that was not true and she was absolutely crazed to get the 'actual' facts of their meeting (which were acknowledged by Chris) out there. When Juicy did his patented shrug and 'who cares' bit, I figured that was as close as it would come to him admitting he'd been wrong - as far as I recall, juicy never did deny saying it. -

Even BETTER - and this is, IMNSHO, definitely something Mel is capable of - if Mel were preggers and started out (quite wistfully, of course) saying how very, very MUCH she and Joey would like a little GIRL so that Antonia would have a sister...and of course, she would go on and on about how, after all, she and Joey have TWO healthy BOYS (thus guaranteeing the continuation of the Gorga line, dontcha know)....yada, yada, yada...you get the picture. After seeing that dinner at Juicy's brother's house, I think the fact that no one on Juicy's side has produced a boy takes the edge off things for Teresa, procreation-wise, so another bun in Mel's oven would put Teresa over the edge - especially if it were to be another boy. -
S06.E14: Judgment Day
becauseIsaidso replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I may be labeled as a horrible, awful, heartles person for this (not that I care), but I do believe that having Ter-felon-joodeechay serve her time in a 'real' prison as opposed to a 'camp' prison would put her in the only possible environment in which she just might to learn something - even if it was only that she should NEVER do something that would put her back THERE. I can just picture her at 'camp', assuring herself that it's not all that bad, and if someone as famous/rich as Martha Stewart was sent to a 'camp', well then she/Tre must be on a par with Martha Stewar!. As to how hard it would be on her children to have to visit her in a scarier environment - well, I feel the same about that as I have about her becoming a felon - she didn't bother to consider her children when she was committing the crimes, so I'm not about to consider them now either. And just as it is not the job of the judge in her criminal case to be concerned about who has custody of her children during her incarceration, it is also not incumbent on the judge to worry about who is taking care of the kids while the criminals serve their time; that's Tre and Juicy's problem - a problem they recklessly and thoughtlessly created through their own greed and willingness to commit crimes to satisfy that greed. -
Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...

I just saw the most sickening thing at the grocery store. In the checkout line I scanned the rag mags and, sure enough, there she was - Teresa - according to the cover snippet (Life and Style, I think) has scored a $3MILLION book deal for a "prison diary". No kidding. It made me want to puke right then and there. But then I got to thinking, that if it is indeed a true thing and not just some piece speculating about how she can continue to milk those stupid enough to still fall for her crap, how cool would it be if all her victims found out who the publisher is and filed tons of liens &/or lawsuits [whichever would apply and have the best chance of success] against both the publishing house and Teresa for any and all proceeds to go 100% toward the money she and juicy defrauded/stole/fleeced their victims out of. -

Coronation Street - General Discussion
becauseIsaidso replied to BubblingKettle's topic in Coronation Street
I guess I must be totally out of the loop because I see NOTHING of a MENTORING relationship between Peter and Jim MacDonald,...Now, granted, I am a relative new-comer to Corrie - the first episodes I saw had to do with the (then) on her way out as a call girl Leanne getting Paul Conner as her 'assignment' which led to the blackmail ( since they never did the wild thing) and his death followed by Carla's total hatred of Leanne...and, IIRC, a lovely scene of Eileen and some woman who came to take back the baby Eileen had been caring for - must have been the wrap up of that particular story line as I've no recollection of seeing any mention of it since. Anyhow...the Jim/Peter relationship looks to me to be more of thug versus victim (loosely interpreted where Peter is considered, certainly, but in this case I DO see Peter as the victim ESPECIALLY since I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT wrap my mind around the concept that Leanne (whom I've had ZERO regard for since the start, although not because of her call girl past, but rather because she is a complete and total fishwife bitch arrogant cunt)) is in any way shape or form a fit parent for Simon or has ANY legal right to his guardianship....I can't recall any episode where Peter named Leanne as the poor kid's guardian...not to mention my current dislike of Simon as a manipulative little bastard for using the acts of running away and placing himself in unsafe situations as some sort of 'sound' reasoning for putting him into Leanne's very questionable 'care'. Ken and Dreary may not be ideal, but IMNSHO have a LOT more to offer as guardians to Simon than Leanne ever could - Amy and her nasty mom nothwithstanding! What exactly is the 'Hardman' archetype? I just haven't been watching Coerrie long enough to get that. That being said - Corrie is by far the best soap I've seen in many a long year - USA soaps totally suck and are so far from reality based to be totally laughable! -
I didn't like Kat AT ALL last season and I have seen NOTHING so far this season worth changing my mind. Kat comes across as an over-sexualized bitch of the first order, (regarding both her sexual partners AND her workmates) and Kate comes across as a self important arrogant bitch of the first order - neither of them are worth the time it takes to complain about them except that it is SUCH FUN to do so. I did like Ben last season, but am rapidly finding reason to change my mind on that score; Such a shame - there should be at least ONE crewmate worth my support! But so far, not so much, and (shame of shames) I'd actually like to see a bit more of Adrienne....HORRORS!!!

Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
becauseIsaidso replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
IMNSHO, one very big reason Teresa hates Mel is wrapped up in the fact that Mel has given birth to not one, but TWO boys - something Teresa has never been able to accomplish, not even with the intervention of a fertility specialist. I don't think either the Sr. Gorgas or Giudices give a rats ass about medical science and who has the Y chromosome - all they care about is Joe Gorga has sons and Joe Giudice doesn't. Wasn't it Juicy's father who offered a monetary reward to whomever produced the first grandson? And I seem to recall there being one hellova bruhaha when someone (Danielle, perhaps?)accused Teresa of not acknowledging her nephew. I think it was baby Joey, the 2nd Gorga son - and Teresa tried to spin it that if Mel had been a "good wife" she would have called Teresa and told Tre that she/Mel knew how busy Tre was and to not worry about coming to visit. This happening after Tre had gotten the disappointment of a 4th girl probably tipped Tre all the way from dislike into full-fledged hatred where Mel was concerned. I can just picture the Sr. Gorgas bragging to the Sr. Guidices about their grandSONS. And I bet Mel was equally happy to mention her sons in front of any and all Giudices. To me, that explains almost everything from all the bad crap Teresa has said about Mel, right down to how she, Juicy and the girls always spend their off camera time (and most of their on camera time) with Juicy's family. -

The one big laugh I did have during this crap fest was when Andy asked Teresa what she was going to do without all her hair and beauty products. And she replied that she planned to 'slick back' her hair. Yup. She has clearly given much more thought to incarceration grooming possibilities than to her daughters psychological and physical well-being. Problem solved. -

Teresa has made it VERY clear she regards her daughters as little more than props to make her look good on TV and as get-out-of-jail cards in real life. Sickening. -
Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
becauseIsaidso replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Another thought.....when Teresa was in court, in front of the judge, entering her plea and being sentenced, was there not at least some point during which she would have been specifically asked if she understood - both the plea and the sentencing? So, now she claims she didn't understand, didn't even speak to her lawyer right after sentencing - so it seems to me that she certainly MUST be lying to someone. Of course, I'm certain her carefully worded references to not understanding and to her being EVER SO IMPORTANT as a mom (way to throw juicy under the bus, tre) was for the specific purpose of pandering to her fans and keeping the fires burning on the the 'free tre' mantra. Makes me want to puke. -

I knew it! The bitch is still claiming she 'didn't understand' what the guilty plea meant! And of course it's entirely the fault of the people she depended on who didn't explain things and didn't fight for her. WHAT a piece of work. I knew it was FAR to much to expect even a modicum of honesty from either of them, especially her, but watching her sit there and lie, deflect and deny, deny, deny. Worthless bitch.- 5.8k replies

Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
becauseIsaidso replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
This gets to the crux of the disgust I have felt every time someone refers to Teresa as an 'amazing mom'. Amazing moms DO NOT commit criminal acts that directly impact their ability to provide for their children both during the parent's lifetimes AND their estates once they have died. The debts may not be transferable to the children (which is a good thing) - but the liens against the estates of either/or/and Tresea/juicy will certainly leave their 'four beautiful daughters' with little more than a pot to pee in...way to go Tre! -

Too true. Where I live - Maine - even at gun shows, the vendors MUST have pre-check ability in working order to make ANY sale - unfortunately, that does NOT translate to someone making a purchase outside of the venue, perhaps in the parking lot, from the back of a vehicle, which I believe to be true based on things I have heard from others. I am a former member of the NRA (which you MUST belong to in order to be covered by insurance at any shooting range in this state) and also have a 100% legally obtained Concealed Weapons Permit. (Why the permit ?- well, when I was walking my dog in the pre-dawn darkness on my rural street where black bears had been reported, I most certainly and legally, had my Ruger P100 in my parka pocket - just in case.) ) Unfortunately, this does NOT stop the crazies!!!!! Those of us who are law abiding are also very often seen to be both in the minority AND lumped in with all the crazies. And....yes,..I am a pretty good shot - with both target rifle (the only kind I have ever shot) and pistol...and I've killed a LOT of paper targets. -

Too true!!! I was in Italy in 2010 - actually entered the country twice as there was a side trip to Barcelona in the midst of it all - and no one seemed at all interested in my passport....even when I asked it I could have a stamp (which doesn't seem to be given unless you specifically ask for it, which I had not) it seemed to bore the hell out of the customs control officer....perhaps the US is a bit more 'intense' than some of the other countries? - although, during my trip to the Republic of Southern Ireland this past summer, in pre-clearance screening before departure from Ireland back to the US, they went through my carry on with a fine toothed comb and had to sent it through the x-ray machine twice - items that did NOT have to go in my US TSA bag did not pass muster in Ireland! All in all, however, I was glad of the scrutiny - especially since they were SO VERY charming about it..AND not having to do the customs bit once I landed in Philadelphia (with a connecting flight to make) was lovely! -

Interesting. I hadn't considered the whole thing in context. I really don't care where the entire familia Giudice ends up....as long as if they are on these shores, they are on a very tight financial/credit/business leash...I guess if they end up in the USA, anyone who is interested would have an easier time getting more, and more in depth, information about their current state of being, But other than that I see no benefit to keeping them on these shores. I also wonder if they (either of them, but specifically Teresa since she is American born) have considered the ramifications on post-prison life for a convicted felon. There are, last I knew - and I will certainly google this as soon as I post this - quite a few restrictions on felons regarding the usual liberties Americans enjoy. Since Juicy is not American born and never bothered to become a citizen (and I absolutely do NOT believe any bullshit about him not knowing he was NOT a US citizen) I am sure he could give a rat's ass about those same restrictions. As usual, it is the kids who will probably have the worst circumstances to deal with. Sucks, but there it is. ETA: voting (no longer across the board, but depending on which State you live in), ability to serve on a jury (now THAT would be a kick in the face) and ability to possess firearms are the most I came across....but it occurs to me that we have some very good legal minds on this board who could come up with the exact stuff in a heartbeat.....
