Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
becauseIsaidso replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
As for my "happy, happy, joy, joy" comment...that was specifically referring to justice being served.. Two people who committed over a decade of deceit and fraud and theft by means of deceit and fraud, have admitted their guilt and been sentenced (albeit far too leniently IMNSHO) and for that and their inability to weasel their way out of paying for their crimes, well, HELL YES I do rejoice! However...I have NEVER said or indicated that I take pleasure in anyone's genuine misery. As a matter of fact, I have no idea at all whether Teresa and Juicy are experiencing ANY misery at all. I am certain they are mightily pissed off and perhaps even in a state of disbelief/denial over their failure to scam/weasel their way out of paying for their crimes, but in misery? I have no idea. And inasmuch as I have no knowledge of any state of misery on the part of these felons, I can hardly be rejoicing in a state of mind that may very well not exist. It is my opinion, however, based on the behaviors I have seen both on Bravo and other sources as well as articles/interviews, that BOTH of them have such a sense of arrogant entitlement that being miserable in their current circumstances is not what's happening. I think they go immediately into spin/squirm/evade/survival (in their lavish lifestyle, of course) mode - in short, anything - to get them out of the current difficulty and on to 'putting it behind' them and going on to the next great scheme. I'd love to know what any of their victims think of my take on the joodeechay's current frame of mind. But, rejoicing in someone's misery? - nope - not what's happening in my heart or mind. -

What I said in my post, should this response refer to me, is that I give the kids the same consideration (by which I meant and mean zero) as their parents did...and I stand by that. However, I never said that anyone else 'should' view it in the same manner as I do, nor would I. I hope this clarifies things. -

...HAH....now, seriously!....WHAT exactly are the chances juicy can NOT do something stupid! For even a day, let alone throughout the entirely of his 'wife's" sentence! We should perhaps start another betting pool of what and when he will revert to type! -

Hee hee......yah, i'd do the same if I weren't so tired! Just now finished paying my bills cuz I was so wrapped up in finding out what the sentences were that I kept putting it off all day! At least I DID get my bills all paid....AND with real money!!! That's actually in the bank! Sometimes I wish I had the nerve to pull the same kind of crap these two seem to thrive on, but then.......well.....not so much....I suppose I have that affliction called a conscience, and the little bugger just won't shut up...and I guess I'm OK with that..... ....unlike others...."nameless here forever more" -

One last word for tonight.....as I have (shamefully) put off several important chores to follow the news unfolding..... I do not think Teresa truly understands what has happened to her today...that she has actually been held accountable for HER OWN actions. I do not think she will understand ANY of it until the day comes when she is escorted to her cell, enters it, hears the door shut behind her and then....AND ONLY THEN...tries the door to discover she can not simply walk out anytime she wishes.....THAT will be justice.....THAT will be the actual moment she can achieve true understanding of her own actions and the consequences thereof...presuming, of course, that she is both capable of and receptive to personal growth....I do not have much hope in that area..... And how sad is it that an adult in this country, in this age, would not have ANY understanding of the concept of social responsibility until such a consequence is imposed..... *sigh* -

Every time I hear that, I am convinced that they are planning on the gender of their offspring garnering them sympathy and a pass on any jail time - which thankfully has NOT happened...The first time I recognized that I was hearing that phrase over and over and over and over I realized it was a well placed attempt to give the parents a pass...SO glad it did not work! And, yes, I freely admit I have enough of a flawed character to wonder how all the Tre-huggers are reacting to the sentence...especially since on another board, in another time, I have been the victim of rabid Tre-hugger venom. -

I must admit, I feel the same! AND I haven't smoked since 1/3/1993! Amazing the effect this buttwads manage to have on us, isn't it? -

I can understand that, and even though I would be sorely tempted to do so myself, I do not plan to watch even one more second of that pig bitch or her pig husband - I see nothing worth viewing in this season and will simply check in with this marvelous board to catch up on, and add my nasty 2 cents worth whenever I am moved to do so. It is so totally gratifying that justice has finally prevailed that I am moved to at least this much generosity - such as it is. -

TY ever so much! If there is one thing I can admit to truly hate, it is people who try to use their children as an excuse to avoid any and all accountability for their(the parent's) actions. Not only did Tre never give her kids a thought before she got caught, she did not give them any thought whatsoever as she carried and gave birth to them - that sickens me more than anything else! Those kids were pawns from the moment of their conception! -

I was thinking that was a last ditch attempt to garner sympathy.....but since I have read elsewhere that she is, indeed, NOT preggers, I write it up to yet another shitty attempt to circumvent justice and having to pay for the crimes she willingly participated in. I am only sad that she did not get a LONGER sentence in the pen... -

Happy, happy, joy, joy! It would have been JOY JOY, but for the length of time the pig/Tre will be in prison. As for her 'four beautiful daughters', well, heartless as it is, I give them exactly as much consideration as BOTH Tre and Juicy did - zero. They will be coddled and pitied and publicized and pampered as the poor down-trodden offspring - which their parents had EVERY opportunity to prevent. They most certainly do not need my empathy, sympathy or good wishes. Stacked up against all the truly suffering kids on this planet, their lot is nothing by comparison. BEST of all was the judge calling them on their continued practice of evasion, deflection, lack of honesty, failure to comply with the law, etc...methinks this judge will go far! As much as I have always disliked Teresa, I was truly afraid she would skate on this one.... but....justice has prevailed - just not to the extent I would have preferred. I am one who tends to take the law VERY seriously...I play by the rules, pay every cent of tax that the stupid forms (all scrupulously completed) say I should, am pitifully honest in all my business dealings, live with a clean conscience, PAY MY OWN WAY, and ABSOLUTELY HATE those circumstances where scoff-laws like the jooooooodeeeeeeeechays get a free ride. So, for me, this is a very good day!- 5.8k replies

S06.E11: Gators And Haters
becauseIsaidso replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Tried to quote a post, but couldn't figure it out....anyhow....I do recall one episode, at least one season ago, that included a bit about Nicholas speaking 'spontaneously'. He wanted, I believe, his iPod/iPad (not sure which it was)....but all he could say was "iPod' in a very demanding toddler-ish tone. Jaq kept on insisting he say the whole (I want my iPod/iPad) thing, but he just couldn't and, IIRC, dissolved into tears and tantrum,. But, Nick's repeated demand for "iPod/iPad", at least in my book, counts as spontaneous' speech because he made it very clear that he wanted a particular thing rather than only expressing his dissatisfaction with his current state (i.e., hot, cold, tired, mad, angry, sad, etc.). It was also explained at some point later that Jaq's insistence that Nick ask properly for is iPod/iPad was a part of his therapy, though it DID come across as rather cruel on her part. -

Attempting to get pregnant in order to avoid answering for her crimes is exactly what I have come to expect from this pig. She seems to diligently dig for ANY angle to prevent justice from being served and, even worse, she has had absolutely no problems with flaunting her raunchy, gutter-level sexuality for all the viewing public to see. Plus, it now seems she sees nothing wrong in pimping out any and/or all of her four 'beautiful' daughters. After a few episodes of season one, I tuned out (don-Caro was too much, Dina was a very uninteresting bitch-diva and Teresa was pretty much a non-entity - until the table flip, but I have NO idea if that was season one or two. I came back in Gorga season one or two at the suggestion of a board-mate, but I have been SO VERY turned off by the knuckle dragging neanderthal behavior of both JoGo and Juicy that I find it rather off-putting to even consider tuning in.) At this point, my only interest in following this show - not so much the watching, but definitely these boards- has been in hopes of seeing both her and her felonious spouse having to answer for all the fraud and deceit they have perpetrated. I only wish those who have suffered financially could be assured of recovering the hard earned dollars the jooooooooodeeeeeeechays have cheated them out of. -

In my totally uneducated (legal profession-wise) opinion, if Teresa were to get 5 years for the crimes she copped a plea to it would still be one helluva reduction over what she could have be hit with if she had chosen to go to trial for ALL the charges against her. This was not a one time thing - it was perpetrated over several years, involving more than one tax return, more than one W2, more than one fraudulently obtained loan. And I'm sorry the big shots in the mortgage lending industry didn't get stuffed into a cell with the key thrown away as they deserved, but to me that doesn't mean Juicy and Tre should be given a pass for what they did. I'm just sick and tired of having the sentencing delayed again and again and again. As one high school teacher used to say (learned no doubt from another source) - repetition serves two purposes - the first is to impress, the second is to annoy. I don't think anyone in the legal system (other than the joodeechays and their mouthpieces) are at all impressed with the continual delays of justice being served. -
S06.E06: The Family Business

So....from what little I have seen of this season it would seem the idiots in charge are attempting to push an image of felon-Teresa as a soft and vulnerable, non-materialistic, hearth and home lovin' woman who just can't take all the pressure her current inexplicable legal issues are imposing on her. Right. Is she really stupid enough to believe everyone would automatically forget about in-your-face-table-flippin-extavagant-spending-crass-vulgar-bimbo who totally blew off any concern at all for bankruptcy issues or all the people she and jailhousejoe screwed out of money. Unfvckinbelievable. I find the newbies to be a total turn off and I never could stomach Dina, so that leaves team Gorga, and even tho li'l Joey can be a hoot at times, they just don't have the chops to carry a whole show. I'd like to see Kathy & the kids (minus slimy Richie) and Rosie and even a bit of Don Caroline from time to time, but as it stands, I'll be checking in this board for recaps and updates - the show just doesn't have any entertainment value. ETA: Almost forgot - SO sick of the sickening scenes of Tre pretending to be a caring mommy! I feel badly for Gia, who is old enough and appears smart enough to realize she is being used, and every time I see that little hellion Milania, I just want to smack her - and I've NEVER smacked a kid. -
I was really up for Kat getting a second chance, even if I did have serious misgivings about it....BUT....after seeing the first episode, she clearly hasn't changed one iota...as far as I can see, it's only a matter of time before she is back into crash and burn mode. Overall, it looks like the crew is going to have quite a bit of turnover this season - and good riddance to Andrew - what a total doosche! So glad captain Lee and Ben are back, but the rest are unknown quantities so I'll have to wait and see. Can't believe I spotted Adrienne in the previews! WTF??? At least it has piqued my interest to tune in for the next episode.

YES!!! Even though I am now and have always been a Still fan, and in spite of all $Bill's faults, he has as much right as any of the other idiots on this show to be right about something - especially since he was stuck with HRH Katie for a spouse - I couldn't stand HT on Y&R and I can't stand her on B&B - her brother, for whom TPTB just can't seem to write a decent character is, IMO, a much better talent, no matter what show he ends up on.

RE: the character propping of Hopeless...I have always felt, no matter which soap I was watching, that the MORE everyone seemed compelled to assert over and over ad nauseum how absolutely WONDERFUL character XYZ was, it MUST mean that XYZ was a total dud, idiot, and hardly worth the tape it took to film her/him but somehow XYZ had a MAJOR 'IN' with TPTB....and once again, it has been proven true. If TPTB weren't so obsessed with the glorification of Logan cooter, this could return to being a really good show - but I'm afraid it really is nothing more tha a rich boy's playground....so sad...SMH as I could really use an entertaining escape from reality for a bit of my day....how I miss Another World!!!!!

Years ago I stopped watching B&B because of the over the top worship of all things Logan, especially Logan cooter. From what I have been reading, I finally understand this is pretty much the act of one person in power. What a pity to have literally destroyed a pretty entertaining show and reduced many of the characters to a hollow shell of their former selves. It is especially evident in the up and coming generation of vapid 20-somethings who have little talent, no depth and are overall, totally predictable and completely uninteresting. I guess TPTB decided that the glorification of all things Logan is worth it, but I sorely miss the lack of balance.

S01.E01: Richard Blais vs. Marcel Vigneron
becauseIsaidso replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in Top Chef Duels [V]
For some reason, when I tried to post earlier, I got a reply that I was not authorized to do so. Not quite sure what that means, but I'll try again, albeit shorter. Too predictable, ridiculous facial contortions from Blais, who, along with Marcel, I am fairly ambivalent toward, not a fan, not a hater. Maybe that;s why this opener was SO lackluster for me. The tipping point was the give-away of Blais as the winner by heaping praise on Marcel during the final judging segment...and here I'd been hoping for a fresh look...still, in all, I'll tune in next week because I don't yet know who is up for the next duel and I still have hope that things will start to be more about the cooking/dishes and MUCH less about contrived almost-drama. -
I only just discovered this show thanks to my Kindle and am only getting close to the end of season 1, so I'm glad I'll have a few more seasons to enjoy. Pity to see if's ending - I'd love to see more
