From what I understand, Meghan texted Kelly that she heard a rumour that Kelly had a boyfriend and Kelly responded that she heard a rumour that Jim had a girlfriend. To me it was like, well you heard "this", and I heard "this." I thought that Kelly's response was like.. "So what? It's rumours. People talk". That was my take on it.

I agree with this, but in Meghan's case there is no way that she did not see Jimmy's character/know his history before actively pursuing parenthood with him. When she cries that she is a "good mom", she is full of shit. A good mom would have never chosen for her child a "dad" who had 2 failed marriages/4 children and a man who treats her like crap. A good mom would not choose to live in a place away from her husband/family for no other reason than to have a role on a TV show. Just irresponsible. Much worse than the choice that Lu made for herself. My apologies for bringing this to the New York board, but Lu is not the only dummy. Edited to add: Also in Heather's case after Terry signed her name to the contract she gave in and went on to participate on the show. Lu may have made some bad choices, but she is certainly not alone.

I like Lu but am very disappointed and sad that she did not pay attention to what others told her about Tom, as well as ignoring what behavior she saw that should have been a red flag. Speaking of Red Flags: Vicki should have been more attentive with what was going on with Brooks. Yolanda appeared to ignore the awful treatment by (King) David. At least while filming. I have to include Tom G. and the way he treats Erika. Such a shame, but in this case I think she just doesn't care, which is too bad. I guess she has decided what she is willing to put up with in order to pursue her chosen lifestyle. I hope that other housewives will learn from this and pay attention the to the same types of red flags>>>Shannon, Meghan, Teresa...so many cringeworthy scenes that shouted...."Get Out!' Maybe the lifestyle is just the price they are willing to pay. Ok..adding Heather Dubrow to the list. Considering that Terry forged her signature in order for her to join RHOC. At times I do feel badly for the way that Kelly treats Michael as well. She does seem to pick at him alot.

From Meghan's blog: "I have the emotional burden of a newborn, so I don’t want or need the emotional burden of drama, but apparently there was no avoiding it". The emotional burden of a newborn? Huh? In case you forgot that she had a baby, and did you know that when she texted Kelly she was seven months pregnant? Seven! Months! Pregnant!

It's so weird, as a viewer, to see the writing on the wall in these relationships. It was so easy for people to see the disrespect that David showed to Yolanda, and yet he was KING! Don and Vicki, that was so obvious. Apparently everyone except Lu saw that Tom was a big mistake. Then we have the Beadors. I used to really like Shannon but seriously they are doomed. When will Meghan look back at all of the scenes that we saw where Jim treats her like crap and see that it was all so obvious? How can people be so blind?

Actually, I am starting to believe that the cousin is the perfect nanny. As Meghan says, "In the game of life, I choose my team wisely". Having a family member as her nanny minimizes the risk of Jimmy sleeping with the nanny.

Yes she does. She also has a husband who cheats. Just a matter of time before it all comes out. (Just like LuAnn she pretends not to see) This was obvious even before she married Jim, ( she just needed to google him) and then she chose to go all out and have a baby through IVF with him. A guy who has had two failed marriages and treats her like crap. It is a shame that Meghan chose a jerk like Jim to be the father of her baby. She saw the writing on the wall and still went ahead. I agree with this. I may disagree with the comments of the folks who support Vicki because I am very disappointed and upset with her actions, but it makes me feel badly when people are accused of being the person that they are defending, even when they have opinions that are opposite to my own. Are we not participating on this board to express our thoughts and opinions? I just believe that people should just be able to express their opinions, even when they are in the minority without being accused of being a housewife.

Because: So Meghan of the OC really threw the "Lu and Tom Martial Bliss" storyline under the bus last night on WWHL. When Andy asked if she was surprised about the demise of the marriage, she just shrugged and said something like, "Well it was just a storyline for last year" (like it wasn't a real thing). I think she broke the 4th wall. Andy seemed miffed and ignored what she said at first, but then doubled back a bit to address it ('cause it was an awkward thing to ignore, I suppose). And Meghan got kinda small, and just sort of whispered "wasn't it?"

This is why.

People do make poor choices and choose to ignore warning signs. Lu ignored red flags. Meghan ignored red flags. Meghan talks about Lu using her wedding/marriage as a story line. Meghan used IVF and having a baby as her story line, knowing that her own marriage was to a twice divorced guy with 4 kids who publicly treats her like shit. (not to mention all of the cheating rumors) The poor treatment of Meghan by Jim was witnessed by all of us watching and cringing. (similar to us cringing, seeing the photo of Tom at the Regency). Maybe Lu is embarrassed regarding the outcome of her "story line" but at least she didn't bring an innocent child into a situation that is likely to end in divorce. Bottom line: Meghan best keep her mouth shut about creating story lines.
