I shop at the commisary in Orlando sometimes. It's definitely cheaper but not dramatically so. I can get Boars head meats that are $10 a pound at Publix for $8 or $9. for example. Choices are somewhat lacking. I go maybe once a month because it's a miserable shopping experiece. Orlando's commissary is in an old airplane hanger. There are some nice, beautiful modern commissaries out there which are much nicer Yes, there are a lot of small benefits. Discounts to attractions etc. For me as a retiree and for Ryan as an AD , we also get space A travel. I'm flying to Europe for free in Early October. I flew from Ca for free this year and from Germany to the USA last october. There are giant resort hotels for military in Korea, Japan and Hawaii. You can stay on the beach in Waikiki for half the price of civilians. We can also stay on base lodging all over the world. We had an awesome 1 BR suite on Coronado Island for $60 in Feb Now I was stationed at Camp Pendleton many moons ago and BAH was not even close to the cost of renting/owning in that area. There is an upper limit for BAH and a few states have COLA's higher than that. BAH helped, but didn't do the job. I knew Marines on Food Stamps and WIC when I was in CA. From what I've heard Hawaii is another place where BAH doesn't cut it. And if there is a long waiting list for on base housing you have no choice but to live on the economy. In other areas BAH is more than adequate. Another issue is that it is often hard for a spouse to get, and maintain employment ,when there are pretty constant moves from place to place.

BAH differs by area. In some areas the amount enables you to live better than it does in others. I'm guess Ryan is maybe an E5? If so his BAH is somewhere between $813 and &117o per month. If anyone l knows his base or rank I can tell you more

Ive been on the net since 97. There are very few pics of me online until the mid-2000's. I think pics online increased in stages. We saw a jump when digital cameras came up and you could upload right to the computer. There was another big jump when cell phones started having cameras. The last big jump when when sites like My Space , Facebook and Instagram gave people a place to post a pic of every facet of their life.

I know I am just a random poster on the internet, but my sister used to go to the same gym as JFK Jr, and she saw the 3 of them working out sometimes,or walking down the street together. I'm not sure how many of you remember the massive secrecy of the JFK jr- Carolyn wedding. It was on an island and kept secret. No pictures or actual knowledge of the wedding came out until it was over and done. Carolyn was very very private.

So sad about Lee Ann Edmunds. My first husband has his affair 23 years ago. Well, He had the one that I knew about the time. There were more, which I discovered later. I found the proof while 9 months pregnant. I went into labor that night and our son was born. I discovered later ,that he has his mistress. in our house, while I was in the hospital. He brought me cookies, which he passed off as his. Turns out she made them for him. He brought me home from the hospital, dropped me and my newborn off. He left me with that baby, and our 2 year old. He then went on vacation with his mistress. Stupidly I tried to keep the marriage together. Now keep in mind this is the same man who gave me HIV. I stayed for many reasons. The main one being ,that he told me no one would ever want me because I had HIV, and I believed him. The affair turned me into an ugly person. It consumed me. I did things I could never imagine doing, like chasing after that **** in a parking lot. Obviously it didn't work out. I've been with my awesome second husband for 20 years. But still, 20 some years later, I feel pain when I think of the affair. Its effects you in ways that you can't imagine. I won't mention what it does to your self esteem. I won't tell you how foolish and stupid it makes you feel. Shannon may not get past this for a while, even if they do split up.

Being a medicallyretired Marine, I can tell you that flying to Russia and "taking out a target" would be an act of war.. Pretty much none of the post rings true at all. And they don't discharge you for heatstroke. They treat you and send you back on duty

Sometimes people cheat just because there is something wrong with them, not because something is wrong in their relationship. Some people just suck. Shannon has issues, so David should have either divorced, or not cheated. I think she has every right to bitch moan and complain to him for some time. I'd just rather not watch. If he doesn't like he can leave their relationship.

My ex husband left me in labor to go to a Queensryche concert. With my second baby, he left to go on vacation with his mistress. I would have settled for a nap My current husband was sent to Jack in the Box to get me some food, like 5 minutes after delivery. I'm not really a worrier. I wouldn't be bothered if hubby took a nap during my labor.
