You are right, and given how they've characterised Manny, he'd probably be giving his Mum tips on making the bath more relaxing!

Another good episode. I'm really enjoying this show. I loved how Ray went from accepted to humiliated to super-accepted to super humiliated (although we didn't see the last part). Now Dylan needs a plot of her own.

I loved Mitch hamming it up as the dying school janitor. And the awful play was spot on too. Phil's eyebrow slide down the glass was marvellous.

I loved all the women at Falcone's party having the big, mob-wife hair, and Lee also joining in. I too hope that Isabella isn't dead. I also hope they give Barbara more to do! Oh, and Bat and Cat, please!

I thought Svetlana was a lesbian, and only went with men either through prostitution or feeling she had an obligation to perform 'wifely duties'? Loved the slo-mo shot of Emmy Rossum to open the episode. She's so lovely. Lip has a point about the house. She could at least have sat them down and explained what she wanted to do before going ahead. Well done to Carl for recognising this was his chance to change his fate and then taking it. I hope we don't see him expelled in short order.

I don't think it was that high. We didn't hear the crash, only Carol's cry for help. My theory is that she'd stood on that sofa to cut the wire.

S10.E07: The Veracity Elasticity

The one where Sheldon is sick, season 1 episode 11, and the boys high tail it to the 'Planet Of The Apes' marathon, Howard shouts at his mother 'For God's sakes Ma, I'm 26 years old!' -

Another good episode. They are on a bit of a roll at the moment. I'm loving how Sheldon is changing. When it was first mentioned that Amy's apartment was secretly fit to be lived in, I feared the worse, but Sheldon actually dealt with it in a reasonably mature manner. I really liked the lobby talk between him and Amy, and when she held him whilst singing the 2001 theme. It's becoming believable that they are a genuine couple now. And, just to be shallow, Penny in the sex-dungeon fantasy.....that girl is in shape! Leonard was sucking it in for all he was worth. -
Nurse Barbara.... And speaking of gorgeous women, Selina looked very pretty for the date. Bruce needs to get over himself though. Grumpy git.

Carl is seeking a Father figure. Ian isn't that. Also, he hadn't thought of military school until Officer Winslow suggested it. Ian didn't go there, he did ROTC in school. And I think Officer Winslow sees something in Carl worth nurturing.

Hilltop, Alexandria, The Kingdom and whatever Negan's place is called. How the hell do the Wolves fit in to all this, and why hasn't Negan sorted them out? If it's a comics spoiler, I'll be happy to wait to find out.

I enjoyed the episode, but hate the implication that begging is (a) a choice made easily and (b) lucrative and (c) not done by people other than those who are desperate. I like Fiona's continued mission to sort her life out. Is that Sheldon Cooper's Meemaw running the launderette? I assume Fiona is going to attempt to buy out the lease. I always like scenes between Carl and his ex's Dad. Those two work well.

I like that they addressed how plain daft Ezekiel and his kitty are right away. It made sense, and the guy playing Ezekiel was very good. Carol is a favourite, but also a pain in the arse. Is she going to live by herself now in the Little House On The Graveyard? Is she going to be some kind of outlet for Ezekiel when he wants to drop the 'King' persona and just talk? I liked seeing a more reasonable member of Negan's crew. He was still a bit evil, but didn't seem to be taking as much pleasure in it as others we have seen from that group.

Here in the UK, I grew to love Sam on The Daily Show. Sadly, her new show isn't airing over here, and I can only see what's put up on youtube. She's fantastic. I'm enjoying it more than Trevor Noah's Daily Show (I think they've shifted things to attract a younger audience, and that's definitely not me), even in little bits. -
Sheldon did get drunk at the karaoke night, even after Leonard warned him to slow down.

I did like 'Cheers.....is filmed before a studio audience'.

Leonard's change maker, and his desperation to use it made me chuckle. And although it was quite funny, the 'how did you get such a hot chick?' is old now. Couldn't they just say 'We were friends, then we fell in love..'? It's the most honest answer. My favourite Bernie moment was when she kicked Howard. 'I warned you. Then I did it!'. They didn't resort once to Shrill Bernie, and in an episode where Howard was being a complete ass, that's pretty good going for the writers.

Watch The Brand New Gilmore Girls Trailer That Netflix Just Dropped
Gulftastic replied to Primetimer's topic in Gilmore Girls
I've not been that emotional watching a trailer since 'Chewie...we're home...'. Can't wait! -
A step down from last week's amazing ep, but not too bad. Jim is still too boring to build entire episodes around. I missed Cat/Bat/Alfred.

I want that wooden rhino from the furniture store.

The Diane years for sure. I adored the show back then. I shipped Sam & Diane so hard, before 'shipping' was a thing I knew about. I remember the episode where she was in Italy with Frasier and phoned Sam hoping he would be rushing to her, and she got Sam's fake-out answer phone making her think he hadn't rushed to Italy to stop her. Man, I was crushed! The writing was also better in the Diane era, IMHO. It was still good after she left, but never quite as crisp.

Eddie's ambition is a strange one. It seems to me that all he really wants is for everyone to acknowledge he is the smartest man in the world. Beyond that, he doesn't seem to lust for power like Penguin does.
