  1. That was the original problem we heard, but when Bishme was retelling it he kept saying a bat and two balls.
  2. But the show turned out to be a blessing because it helped her financially and then she was able to sue her husband's business partner.
  3. I thought maybe she just had an inadvertent orgasm. She sure made a lot of noise during her massage in this episode.
  4. They're having a marathon of episodes today (Saturday) starting with the Jonestown one (they are all shown as two-hour episodes). It begins at noon Eastern/9 am Pacific time.
  5. Ha! There's also a liquor store on the corner and a Texaco station down the street.
  6. Aw. I liked Stan. Not in his early appearances, but later as the series went on. I thought he was a good match with Dorothy. I didn't want them to end up together, but I couldn't hate him. There were a lot of funny moments with him on the show. I know the writers enjoyed writing for the character. A bit of trivia: Herb Edelman (Stan) and Ken Howard (Blanche's Jerry) were both ex-husbands of actress Louise Sorel.
  7. She showed up for the Boy George concert. She then had to fly back to wherever for her tour.
  8. The life sentences are consecutive. The reason the death sentence was commuted is because under Pennsylvania law Edwards was ineligible due to an intellectual disability. source
  9. Also see the case of Edgar Smith and William F. Buckley. Of course, Buckley actually believed Smith was innocent. And then there was Jack Unterweger in Austria whose release was championed by many prominent people.
  10. Yeah, except we know she did visit Phil and her grandkids a few times. So, that makes no sense.
  11. Some more information from Jan. Jan’s father called the police the very first night she went missing “My father called the sheriff’s department that same night when we didn’t show up,” she says. Though that wasn’t featured in the documentary, Jan was quick to point out that her father, Bob, still did not believe she had been kidnapped. “They were looking for a car accident…they described the car…kidnapping had not even entered anybody’s mind,” she explains. B. had an explanation for marrying Jan in Mexico Jan reveals what B. told her mother as an explanation for their marriage, “He said because we wanted to come home, ‘they would not let me come back across the border if I did not have her married to me. I didn’t want to marry her." B. even went on to convince Jan’s mother she was to blame for what happened. “’You wouldn’t come with me, Mary Ann. You’re the one I’m in love with, you’re the one I want to be with, but yes, I did something wrong and I kind of had a mental breakdown, but I had to marry her or they would have separated us and who would she have been with?’” “He had a story for everything,” Jan says. Jan’s parents retracted their signed affidavits agreeing not to press charges against B. "They didn’t forgive him. The affidavits that they signed, they retracted four days later. That’s not in the documentary,” Jan reveals.
  12. Yep. Raymond and Peter's brother Danny was there helping.
  13. Oh, gotcha. Well, I concede the Cane Corso had cropped ears. The other two dogs were natural. Any dog can turn feral. We don't know how old those dogs were. : ) I think on Talking Dead they said that the Whisperers took the herd with them.
  14. Siddiq also went after Judith. Dog is a Belgian Malinois, so his ears are natural, not cropped. The scene with Alpha and Beta was a bit disorienting, but they went south (more south) for the winter and I think that's where the scene took place. I didn't understand the fall of the Kingdom. The pipes burst and things got moldy? Really not sure. All in all, a low-key finale.
  15. They said that the stuff was left for bulk pick-up. Bulk pick-up is done by the city every once in awhile.
  16. I feel like there should be some sort of size requirement for the cakes. It just seems weird not to say it needs to feed 50 people or 100. Unless I missed it, it seems like the size of the cake is whatever Buddy or Duff wants to make. The vibe of this show is awkward. It's not the fun time I thought it would be.
  17. Thanks for the update, Jaded! I admire Judith for taking on the role, but I'm not surprised it's an awkward fit, given that Judy's 18 years older than Genie is. When Judy won that Miss Pennsylvania title that vaulted her to Hollywood, Genie was three. Judith Chapman plays Diana, not Judith McConnell. Chapman is eleven years older than Genie Francis.
  18. I only like the parts with the other ladies wasting the whole day. Regarding the little boy: The character was HIV-positive which was pretty much a death sentence at the time.
  19. I knew Monster would win thanks to the executive producer's comment about the judges never guessing the winner. I'm still annoyed by that. All in all, it's been a fun show.
  20. I do think it's filth from wearing the mask. Here's a good look at Alpha. I don't think hygiene is important to people who walk among the dead.
  21. If that was the one where she went inside an ATM kiosk while the abductor waited in the car, then I thought she had a great chance to escape. All she needed to do was run in the opposite direction of where the car was facing. It was morning on a somewhat busy street. I really think she could have made it. I think some people just go into shock and they can't think clearly. That's why it's a good idea to think about what you might do in such a situation before it happens. And hopefully it never happens.
