  1. There is a fic I have been following where Emma is a Bounty Hunter in the Enchanted Forest. It had been on hiatus for about 7 months and then got updated about a week ago, so it is possible that the writer will come back to the story, just unlikely. Speaking of fic updates, does anyone know when Bella Notte will be updated? Its always interesting to me when I see about four or five people answering a prompt and coming up with six different ways to tell a story. My guess would be that if a fic prompt is not in your wheelhouse, it might work better to suggest it to someone else.
  2. Amen to that, Bmore. Also, they should avoid Innsmouth, Maine. I guess Maine is a dangerous place.
  3. C'mon show! Make the Sorcerer/Author Walt Disney... You know you want to...
  4. I'm thinking about quitting this show and its cause I can't stand Katrina and her love triangles. Why did they make her role bigger? Why? Even the not-so-headless horseman can make me laugh once or twice...
  5. Interesting conversation. I just read part of a dark AU story where there was quite an explanation as to the fact that Killian Jones played the role of the "Hook" in his organization and he made his girls call him "Captain" Um. If you're interested it was called "Keep to the Code", I think, on AO3.
  6. So I was listening to Pandora and the song Hotel California by the Eagles came on and it made me think about how they can never ever leave Storybrooke on this show and it made me wonder if anyone had ever done a OUAT Songfic to Hotel California (or if you know about a Youtube vid perhaps)?
  7. Shouldn't Kristoff have been locked up? I get that Anna had previous exposure and was immune, but Kristoff wasn't and should at least been handcuffed or something.
  8. Curio, you're right. I'd forgotten that scene, which means that Elsa wasn't entirely in the dark, which is even worse.
  9. A few thoughts on this episode: When I saw Will digging hole after hole after hole I kept waiting for Snow to joke making a reference to Holes, because we know how much the writers love to promote their Disney connections. My CS shipping heart was very happy for these little moments that Emma and Hook got to have as they surely will be taking 3 steps back as soon as Emma learns the truth and because this episode had little else going for it aside from Sidney's revenge (I refuse to call it betrayal because that mental woman enslaved and imprisoned him for 28+ years). I know that I'm in the minority but I actually liked Elsa's cape... it wen't well with her sparkly ice escapades outfit. I cheered when Elsa realized that all she had to be was brave to break free from the chains, but then she had to go and try to convince Emma to "save her friendship" garbage... she is called the Evil Queen for a reason, Elsa. Even without knowing anything else (and its clear that no one tells her anything) that should have given her pause. Sigh, goody two shoes. I think that Lilith parallels Hook, not Regina. Both lied to Emma in part to spare her feelings; in Hook's case he deliberately lied to her back with the Zelena fiasco. Unlike the sort of things Regina has done, these sins are forgivable. Also--as with Lilith--Hook did try to apologize when caught in the lie.
  10. I loved Rip Van Winkle requesting that the radio station play him some classic music to wake up to. I'm still not a fan of PollyAnna. Elsa can stay though. Sven is hilarious. Henry and Regina are pretty disfunctional; I hope Henry is doing this just to keep his mom busy doing something fairly harmless and not because he actually believes any of it but then again he believed Peter Pan so... Hook held the Idiot Ball this episode, sigh. Aww... poor Will. First with getting punched rather hard and then with the ripped out page... I just know there is heartbreak in his story there. (I only watched like 4 episodes of OUAT Wonderland, but he was the best part) Please tell me that the sorcerer's apprentice is named Mick or Mickey. The date was cute. Also, I cheered when I saw the Lady and the Tramp couple. I thought Emma's outfit was odd, but if it was a nod to Grease then that's cool. So I guess I got my answer; Emma is still living at Chez Charming... talk about a crowd, although I did enjoy the date related Snowing lines. I hope she moves out soon to that seaside apartment mentioned by Henry in episode 3-22.
  11. Please show don't name that snow queen "Frost" or "Swan".
  12. I want to see Elsa and Anna's parents be named Kay and Greta like the two kids in The Snow Queen. I want to see wherever it is that Hook has been living. I want to see characters delegating jobs coughsnowwhitecough to professionals paid to actually do said jobs like calling an electrician to deal with the power station. I want to see the apartment that Henry had circled in the newspaper in episode 3-22. Did they ever go look at it? I want to see Elsa go ice skating.
  13. Dear show, Two people do not make an army. In fact, the world's smallest army is like 26 men.
  14. Hi guys! Our show is back! I can't chat for very long because my internet is still down. Sigh. Maybe I'm the only one but I kept hearing Mara say it as "Thinning". Poor Nathan is delusional... wake up and smell the gunpowder honey: I mean he just sat there in his car waiting for her, no attempts to hide and no real plan. What did he think would happen?
  15. Eagerly looking forward to chapter 2 Sharky. Also, it looks like God Only Knows just got updated. I'm gonna miss both Only For One Night and The Kilted Stripper; just because something is rated M doesn't mean it isn't quite good, hey.
  16. V's suggestion of starting with a blue base would not have worked with the Egyptian alien. It was pretty clear to me that the reason the paint got so muddy when he tried to sponge it was because the base paint was only half dry. In fact, a darker base (like the blue accent he used) would have looked even worse once it got the gold sponged on. The judges have talked about that very fact on previous episodes of the show. Even without the paint issue the Egyptian guy was not a good entry though. The face looked like a helmet and--leaving aside evolutionary issues-the triangles on the cheeks needed to have been repeated elsewhere on the body for it to make any kind of aesthetic sense. Poor Gwen, I was rooting for her because of our shared name; but she lacked the wisdom to chunk the mangled chest piece and the skills to fix it. I do think they should have done a double elimination and gotten rid of that Easter Island face putty guy; it was disaster in conception and sub-par in execution. I'm sorry, but the red look that won had an interesting sculpt and all but still looked blotchy to me as the difference in the two reds she used on the face was so faint that you could not read it well. (Yes, I realize that the cowl had a third discernible shade of red) In summation, I actually did prefer the one by irritating Sasha or even Keaghlan's.
  17. Something fluffy? Try A One Time Thing (And Other Untruths) at AO3.
  18. Yes, Hook could have traded the ship for a bean but without the memory potion don't you think that would have been rather pointless? Also, he was able to get that magic bean rather quickly... which at least implies that he had put the word out that he wanted a magic bean or some way to open up a portal beforehand.
  19. Hello. Just chiming in to post my first post here, say Hi, and also cause for me it also says "This community is temporarily unavailable" at TWoP.
