  1. Though I liked ayana's crazy awesome outfit better (a little overdesigned, but hey) I do think that Kenya's look met the challenge better and she should have won. Lemme go find some kool aid so that I can join the judges and be ok with that silly win.
  2. One thing I know is that the judges don't like a stuffed dress, I mean--that's part of what got Michael auf'd last week. Also gold is a color that can easily go tacky and that would have worked better if she had kept it a belt or removed it all together.
  3. Judges: Brandon's pale pink strappy Japanese inspired look is so fresh and new. Me: So Brandon likes to cosplay Final Fantasy?
  4. To quote one of the imps in Hercules (Disney): If. If is good.
  5. Lucifer was an archangel (good) who went dark side. Wouldn't Jack's powers be based on the original formula (powerful and proud but not evil) version of Lucifer?
  6. I wonder if the models (Liris) having more of a say has anything to do with situations in past seasons like when Erin put that poor model in a yellow outfit with the metal grate that poked her and she bled. Margarita's outfit was tacky looking.
  7. Was Knight the one who did sportswear? I didn't like Ayana's top. I thought it was a well made black "leather" jacket at first, but then she started to add glittery glass shard looking things everywhere and lost the details and impact of a clean look.
  8. Dear Project Runway, Y'know, when an episode ends with a kid named Michael getting booted off, and then does an "in memory of" placard of someone [named] Michael it might be a good idea to include a picture. Thanks
  9. I think margaritas fabric choices were good, but I was confused when the judges said that it flattered her body (not for the first time--I mean, when is adding that much volume around the waist flattering? ).
  10. I didn't really like Brandon's. Not only did he not do the one thing that the little girl asked for (to make it chocolate brown), but the fabric he chose was a rather sad, dull mint color. There was no effort at whimsy like Ayana's cupcake dress and it looked unfinished at the front.
  11. Honestly, I think that Tim Gunn gently steering Claire in another direction with regards to the blouse should have been enough to calm Margarita down. (On that subject, anyway) None of the designs truly wowed me today (Kentaro's came the closest, and that was more the half hidden details than the distance read). That blue dress should have been a top look.
  12. Well I don't know about New York, but in some places it's illegal to install cameras in the bathroom so she could have done it there and not get caught.
  13. As much as I liked Kentaro's look, I thought that the model was swimming in it and that it looked more like a nightgown than a dress. That one outfit definitely had the peplum on the wrong spot, it needed to be, what, 4-6 inches lower?
  14. So are they allowed to measure other clothes as a reference?
  15. Maximillius is apparently a very dumb villain. He killed exactly one of his enemies (with the rest in the wind) yet still went ahead and announced himself as the new leader.
  16. Lockjaw was cute. The king was mute. My rhyme is as bad as the script. ...So I turned to my friend and said "I'll watch for the hair", cue hair being shorn off. Oh well.
  17. At the time when they created Chloe as a character I believe that they never had had any interest in bringing in Lois to the show. There's two reasons for this belief: One, in Canon Clark does not meet Lois until he starts working at the Daily Planet, and he is the Rookie reporter to her seasoned 'Pullitzer Prize' winning self. This is why she gave him the 'pet' names. (By introducing her when she was still a nobody in high school who can't even spell it changes the dynamic and just makes her seem foolish and arrogant.) Two, I don't think they were given permission to use Lois at the time, and Chloe was clearly created to fill the 'Lois' niche while still remaining different enough to be her own character. What traits they did borrow from canon Lois were positive ones, and this further convinces me that they did not think that they would later get to use Lois. (So when they did get permission to use the character this left them with only negative canon traits to use with Lois to avoid being redundant.)
  18. ... you notice that Cassiel means "God is my cover", but Castiel means "God WAS my cover". (Truth, in Hebrew the addition of the suffix -ti makes a verb past tense.)
  19. I don't know why Savitar didn't immediately disappear or why Wally's powers still work, but I've always figured the reason that Gideon was still around past the death of evil wells was that since he's was an evil timetraveling genius from centuries into the future he had built in tech that kept all of his stuff from vanishing with his paradoxical demise... or otherwise Star Labs wouldn't have a lot of stuff, if it even would have existed without wells at all. I mean, the guy created a will so he knew his stuff was sticking around. Ugh, timetravel makes my head hurt.
  20. Did anyone else notice that Cisco's hair grew like three inches sometime within the last two episodes?
  21. Um, why didn't they keep Snart for one more day and have him use the cold gun on Evil!Barry (Since they have proven how effective it is on original flavor Barry)?
  22. This episode was brought to you by WestAllen Shipping and by SuperFriends: The Musical, coming soon to theaters near you! Also, Cisco sang? Was it at the start? 'Cause I missed the start...
  23. Loved to see all those actors again. So the speedforce is where Snart ended up huh? (Basic rule of fiction, nobody's dead until you see the corpse.)
  24. I think the reason that it feels like Barry and Iris have been having an on/of relationship is because of the non-sexual relationship between them before they became an official couple: All of Iris's doubts in her relationship with Eddie centered on her supposedly non-existent feelings about Barry, her "brother". And then suddenly there were the feelings she got shortly after Barry broke up with Pattie and Iris went on that one weird date with her boss... (My memory of the Pattie era seems to be a little vague; I'm afraid that I found her to be a bit dull). So anyway, for me at least that's why it feels like they are giving us whiplash with the engagement and then having Iris return the ring not even 24 hours later. ETA: And then Barry breaking them up completely... I think that those people who crowed at how wonderfully stable their relationship is were only looking at it from the context of when they were an official couple; this is, in fact, the first major hiccup that they have had since their change in status.
  25. I'm sorry, but this show is making it really hard for me to believe that Iris loves Barry as much as he loves her. I mean, seriously? So what if he had more than one reason to marry her, the dude has literally been in love with her since he was 11! She can't possibly doubt that... Ugh, I hate it when the plot makes people dumb fo drama's sake.
