  1. Because he's shy and is still uncomfortable being the center of attention?
  2. I hate that a lot of SQers on tumblr feel like they're being bullied and attacked over this, but many are responding to hate with hate. That's just not going to help things. And I can't believe how many comments I saw saying that SQ is canon, they're 100% sure they are end game, that the majority of Once fans want SQ, and that CSers are just scared because after Emma sacrificed herself for Regina in the finale, they know their ship is not end game. How can you even have a meaningful discussion with people who are so sure of something?
  3. Ooo new photos! Not sure if I like the waistcoat chain, but he always looks good. I had to laugh at the one tweet that didn't mention Colin, just said it was a woman with her award. Nice award. :)
  4. If I had purchased that photo op already, I would be so disappointed. This whole thing is ridiculous, and I feel really bad for the fans, Jmo, and the organizers. Sometimes I'm so embarrassed to be in this fandom.
  5. What about them being clones? Maybe the Ethan we're seeing is version 2.0. Maybe Beverly is a clone that was only created a year ago, from someone who died in 1999. It could explain how different people remember Bill dying three different ways, and why they're not allowed to talk about the past.
  6. Earlier, I was trying to think of a word to describe Regina, and snide is the word my brain couldn't come up with. The reason I don't I have a problem with Emma and Hook is because almost every time something bad that he has done is brought up, you can see the regret and embarrassment in his eyes. But with Regina, even though she is not the evil person she was, when her past misdeeds are brought up, she doesn't seem to show much regret. She even makes jokes about it, like "I've conquered realms in less time.". It's the lack of empathy that causes me to wonder why Emma would want to be friends with Regina.
  7. Elsa shrunk the Jolly Roger and put it in a bottle, after he used it to attack the waters around Arendale. I'm guessing he was locked up in prison, which makes it even worse for him to go back to! Unless he escaped, which I kind of hope he did, because he's a cool character, and I don't want to see him in prison forever.
  8. I loved that they called each other by their real names. I don't know why, I guess because it made that scene even more intimate. I think that scene just showed that no matter what happens, Jackson and Susan will always be in love. I'm still confused on why Susan told Reid that his daughter was dead. Was it just so he would become so distraught that he would leave the force and stop investigating the train crash/robbery?
  9. Curio, I agree with pretty much your whole post! Although I don't think we can just say "Oh, well, Pan would have gotten Bae anyway." Like you said, Hook giving Bae to Pan was meant to be seen as a very bad act. The audience was shown that scene in the same episode where Hook took the bean that was meant to save the town. But then Hook came back. He offered to take his ship back to Neverland, a place which he hates. For me, this was the turning point for Hook, where he started his path to redemption. He remembered how he failed Bae, and didn't want to do it again with Emma and Henry. When Hook finds out that Bae was Henry's father, you could see the regret in his eyes. If Hook hadn't done bad things in the past, he wouldn't be considered a villain, and wouldn't have a redemption arc. For me, that's what makes his character so interesting. I like seeing him struggling with his past, and trying not to repeat it. Hook might not have been a stand-up guy in the past, but I don't think there's any proof that he is a rapist. Innuendo and bad flirting does not make someone a sexual predator. Sometimes I wonder if people are watching the same show as I am, because from what I've seen of Hook, even in the past, I see nothing in his character that would point to him being ok with forcing himself on someone. Yes, he pursued Emma, but he never made any unwanted sexual advances, as far as I can remember. Whenever Hook would try to have a serious conversation with her, you could see her connecting with him, but then her walls would come up and she would walk away. In Neverland, when Emma told Hook and Neal that if she had to choose, she would choose Henry, Hook backed off and later said that he would let Neal and Emma have a chance at being a family, "for the sake of the boy". I don't remember Emma ever telling him to leave her alone, and through time, she started to reciprocate his feelings. Isn't that pretty much how most relationships work? Someone has to make the first move. If people didn't flirt, and make their intentions known, and wait to see if the other person feels the same way as them, then there wouldn't be any couples in love.
  10. Boooooo! I don't like that idea. Although, as Jen has said, "You don't have to kiss to be intimate."
  11. Things that intrigued me: 1. The wonky time line. Ethan remembers just seeing his partner a few weeks ago when she has short hair, but now she has long hair and said she's been in the town for years? Beverly thinking it's 2000 or whatever it was. 2. When Ethan and Beverly first meet, she says something about how she's always believed him. Have they met numerous times before but he just doesn't remember? 3. Why are their no crickets? Does the security wall have something to do with it? Is the town not in the US, but maybe some other country that doesn't have crickets? 4. I've only watched the episode once, but I remember some scenes in the beginning that were filmed upside down, and the main promotional photo for the show is orientated upside down. Is it just to mimic the craziness of the show, or does it have a deeper meaning? 5. Why would they just leave a burned body in a house and how would Beverly know about it?
  12. Adam Rothenberg, aka Captain Fancy Pants, was cast in the pilot of Wicked City, which had been picked up by ABC, but now his role is being recast so he can do Ripper Street! \o/ http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/s213/ripper-street/news/a648159/adam-rothenberg-exits-abcs-wicked-city-following-ripper-street-renewal.html#~pd9Z53hOxRQUUY
  13. I want a musical episode SO badly! The musical Buffy episode was one of my favorites. I found this, back from Nov. of 2013: Horowitz also teased "never say never" when asked if there would ever be a musical episode of Once Upon a Time. Kitsis suggested that the option is still there to do one in the future, though Horowitz noted that there are no immediate plans. Since Galavant is on ABC, it seems like a no-brainer to use their song writers.
  14. It's college graduation time, maybe someone just got their degree. :) What really bothers me is loud music, whether it's from an apartment or a car. Motorcycles are the worst, since they have to turn the volume up so loud.
  15. I used to feel that way about his secret, but I still have a hard time thinking it was the "darkest" secret he had. I guess it's just semantics, and people could interpret the word differently. If they just had to tell their deepest secret, I would have no problems with any of the ones told.
  16. Welcome to the boards! The echo caves secrets were pretty ridiculous. With all of the bad things Hook has done, how is him opening his heart to Emma his deepest, darkest secret? All I can think is that the secret has to be something that only they themselves knew. So because Snow and Charming both knew about stealing egg!Lily, it therefore wasn't a secret.
  17. Yea, I didn't think Isaac had any problems with service members. I actually thought the man was his co-worker, and was maybe stealing his commission, and that's why Isaac was annoyed.
  18. I don't think Emma knows everything about Hook, but she was there when he shot Belle, and tried to kill Rumple, and left her and the princesses in Rumple's old jail cell. I think she has a pretty good idea of the horrible things he has done, but like she said, she chooses to see the best in him now, because he seems remorseful for the things he has done. We don't know how much Emma knows about the whole blackmail thing, since the show pretty much glossed over the whole blackmail/hand/heart thing. But I have a hard time believing that Hook would have physically hurt Belle at that point, and that he was just using her as leverage, since she's about all Rumple cares about. He definitely should have told everyone that Rumple still had the dagger, but he was still in the process of going from villain to hero, so it would make sense he would stumble on that journey. Also, we do know that Emma knows about Liam. Charming told Emma about him in Neverland, but Hook didn't want to talk about it to her. And then later Hook mentions him to Emma in the EF time travel adventure, and says how hard it was to lose him.
  19. Sorry, but I think there is a huge difference between those groups of people who you've just lumped all together. Especially with so-called fans who insult or bully the actors, writers, or even other fans. I don't want to get into a discussion about it, just wanted to give my opinion since there are no "thumbs-down" buttons on this board.
  20. He looks so good wet! I actually had a dream with Hook last night, which doesn't happen often. The amount of time I spend thinking about him, you'd think I'd dream of him all the time, but sadly, no. In my dream, Colin did a promotional video for the show, and he was dressed in his red vest outfit, and it was a musical! And he was really belting out the song (can't remember what he was singing), and hamming it up for the camera, and at one point he was underwater, but still singing! And I remember I was on this board in my dream, and we were all super impressed. :) In another part of my dream, Hook was killed like in the finale, but this time, Emma was holding him and crying, and I was sort of floating over them, and it was actually kind of beautiful, but sad of course.
  21. That's great news! Hopefully all the main actors are returning. I know some of them have other projects going on.
  22. What if Emma cuts off one of Rumple's hands, and then keeps it in a jar, and when Rumple wants it back to go on a date with Belle, Emma curses it? I'd be fine with that. Not really, but whatever.
  23. I hope the first thing they do is try to command her with the dagger. I then see three possibilities: it doesn't work, or she shows up and somehow gets control of the dagger, or she does appear and they all make their way to find Merlin. I just had a thought. What if Hook pretends to go bad in order to gain Emma's trust and stay by her side? Then we can see him being all piratey and badass with Emma, without him actually reverting back or doing anything too horrible.
  24. Here's a video of it: http://scandalrehab.tumblr.com/post/118825955995/abc-upfront-opening-videoabc-upfront-opening-video I wish I could get it to load. I think Colin looks kind of weird, different than he normally does as Hook. Probably because he didn't have his normal makeup people there to do his hair, eyeliner, and color in his ginger beard properly.
  25. I took it as that he was just surprised to see Hook there, and maybe was slightly worried, since the last time he saw Hook, Hook was holding him down to be hatted. I wanted Hook to apologize to him, but I guess there wasn't time for that, instead we got 2 long minutes of Henry running through an empty Storybrooke and a dragged out shot of a record player. I don't see Emma being a big bad as the DO either. Even Rumple was still able to love, and didn't go around killing entire villages. I can see Emma still loving her loved ones, but maybe having a hard time dealing with her dark power. Maybe she won't want to give it up if she and the heroes have to defeat another big bad.
