At the public university I attended, the president faked his resume and nobody discovered until 10 years later - and they let him keep his job (He started he had jobs he did not and he also said he had published papers that were never published)

I really liked tonight's episode. How is the casting department so good on this show? Do they have a time machine to go back and get people? I really hope Flynn doesn't try to romance Lucy and it just becomes a friendship. A creepy friendship, but a platonic friendship.

I would prefer the same, but if making it a summer show gives it a longer lifespan, I am for that
-
it'd be funny if it were super anti-climatic after building it up the last few episodes
-
I would not be surprised if ABC kept Speechless because of the positive buzz - especially since they might own Fox's TV production soon enough.

Do you think when Paige learns the lie, she is going to be like "Oh, I thought it was going to be much worse than that!" And that Flo will talk about the lecture in front of Paige and she'll be like "oh I thought that got cancelled??"

I would really like if they renewed this for a third season, but made it a summer show. With these kind of ratings, it'd be nice and comfy in summer.

I liked this episode

Doesn't get much better on the cancer front.

So how many (tens of? hundreds of?) thousands of people were or were not born as a result of the actions of this episode? Since there are over 25 million direct descendents from the ~125 people on the Mayflower, so, uh, for the people in this episode, has to be at least 10,000 people not born because of those 8 "witches" escaping and those who died who weren't supposed to.

I really liked that episode. I don't think he did.

I am thinking they are going to flesh her out or just totally retool her next season. Maybe they'll say she was so rude because she had a brain tumor :P

I actually liked the voice over of the daughter reading the note.

I'm okay with this.

I really doubt they would have Jimmy lose his job - insurance is worth working a crappy job when you have someone with a disability in your family. I would not be surprised if they had Jimmy moonlight as an architect, though. They could've had the "JJ needs to be retained" storyline make sense so easily. I really doubt they will have JJ stay another year in high school - I mean, they could, if they could find a reason, IDEA allows a student to stay until they are 21, but yeah, JJ is a smart kid.

This was much better than the pilot, but that is not saying much. Did anyone else groan/cringe when the JD-esque narration started? I mean, it was good in Scrubs and it makes sense in this show, but, ugh, it felt a lot like a Scrubs voiceover. Also, with the meetings... why not have the producer interview the CEO - or have the producer & 2nd cousin go to the sponsor/ad meeting? Do they just want to blow through every single major sitcom trope in the first few episodes to get it out of their system?

This episode was better than the pilot. I hope the next episodes are also good. How old are the twins? 13? I don't know any 13 year old who cooks anything from scratch. Frozen stuff, heating up leftovers, sure - but making something from scratch? No way!

Huh. This was a bit odd. It kept setting off the "Hey, this seems a lot like The 4400" bells in my head. Like, wow, it seems like they used some of the same shooting locations as The 4400 - and, uh, one of the people surviving being an 8-ish year old white blonde girl is also a *lot* like 4400. This show has enough interesting stuff for me to come back for a few more episodes, but I hope it gives off less 4400 vibes, because oh boy, this seems a hell of a lot like it so far.

I don't understand why they didn't just do that - like I know they needed something in the slot... but Timeless is perfect for a summer show

A good medication combo

I was wondering that exact thing. I hope we get an explanation to that. Maybe he borrowed someone's phone.

Seriously this. Also,, I was hoping during the GED when she spaced out, she was going to have a touch of chemo brain. Nope, this show is going to act like once you are done with treatment and a doctor says there is NED or you are in remission, it is all sunshine, rainbows, and puppy dogs.

oh hey this show is back I'm sort of anticipating this show without Mike/uhhhhhhhhhhhhh what is Markle's characters name? I totally blanked while typing this post. I mean we know both of them are leaving, so they are hopefully going to avoid big drama between the two - so it seems like the drama is being pushed onto Donna & Harvey.

Seizures don't leave brain damage That is what i was going to say - I have had seizures since I was 6 years old and multiple MRIs - no brain damage that can be attributed to seizures. I also have occasional seizures - been over 2 years since my last seizure (Yay!)

Seizure scars?
