  1. Appropriate, since in this episode we learned that Arnold's robots can receive updates remotely, so they may literally have radios in their heads.
  2. After hearing Ford's greyhound story, I'm wondering if the secret agenda of the park is to turn the guests into psychopaths. The greyhound was trained to chase a fake rabbit that couldn't really be killed, but then off its leash it killed a cat. The guests are being desensitized into killing and raping indestructible hosts - what happens when they're let out of the kennel that is the park?
  3. It felt like the kind of experimental theme show Larry might have tried to do if he was still on.
  4. Well, we saw when MiB planted his exploding cigars, a request showed up at HQ to give the go ahead for an explosive pyrotechnics display. And they also had a way to remotely make all the guns jam, even the ones belonging to guests, so we know there's some kind of receiver in each gun. So it could be something like every gun contains a camera and is constantly asking base, "Can I put a bullet into what I'm pointing at?"
  5. I think it might be not quite as complicated a technology and Bernard is just using some kind of VR to wirelessly connect with Dolores while she's in sleep mode. From the big map in the war room, we know the backstage people have hologram technology.
  6. When we met Chidi he said he wasn't speaking English but the Good Place was translating. So it didn't make sense that he sounded the same in his flashback. And if his flashback was being translated, why did his friend sound Australian and write in English on his chalkboard?
  7. I hope at some point they point out that she shares a name with a member of the B-52's. (although Pearson and Pierson are spelled differently)
  8. Maybe the hosts aren't exactly mechanical robots. Flies were crawling all over the wounded host tied to the tree - so there must be something organic in them that attracts the flies. For that matter, there was enough organic stuff inside Maeve for MRSA to grow on last week.
  9. Maybe Ling's has multiple locations.
  10. If all the animals in Westworld are robots, how do they keep birds out - does Westworld have a roof? It would also explain how they avoid seeing airplanes.
  11. The best part of the episode was right at the end - it was nice that the writers remembered.
  12. I think Ed Harris is playing his same character from The Truman Show - after losing his star made him crack up, he sold his giant domed studio to the robot theme park people in exchange for permanent admission. He also kept a remote control for the ubiquitous cameras so they won't notice his doings.
  13. I wonder if the show could get away with killing off Frank but keeping Macy around as a ghost narrator.
  14. Surprised April didn't name her daughter after her dead friend.
  15. Is Perona a zombie? She's the only one of the bad guys without any visible stitches.
  16. I've decided that if one of the characters voiced by a female turns out to secretly be a girl all along it makes a better story if it were Killua than Kurapika. Imagine some timeskip that gives us postpubescent Gon running across a sneaky female assassin, who turns around and he recognizes her as his old friend.
  17. It was great when Jimmy's brothers were calling each other "bundle of sticks" in the version of the story he's telling his kids. And it was odd that when we get an episode where a kid gets forgotten and left in the house by himself, we don't get a guest appearance by Macaulay Culkin.
  18. It felt more Breakfast Club than Bueller to me.
  19. I'm picturing the show creators saying, "The audience freaked out and thought we went too far when we put the space bugs in a cat - let's put them in a baby and see who complains."
  20. All these connections to other shows and the one we should have paid attention to was that there were 2 guys from Royal Pains.
  21. Maybe Andrea was messed up enough to take out a hit on herself, which would explain why she was experimenting with Naz to see if she'd taken enough drugs not to feel a stab wound.
  22. CC needs to very quickly rework whatever Jessica Williams' new project is into a replacement show for this slot.
