  1. I read a review about Hannibal awhile back that said the show is emotionally accurate without being logically accurate. After that point, I realized I don't so much look at the plot for this show as I do for moments like that horror when Hannibal killed Beverly or the incredibly creeptastic/disgusting humor of Mason eating his own face. I will say I was also okay with Abigail dying. I felt like her character was less of a loss to the show than the others at this point. But who knows, maybe more are dead. Pancakes, Divorce, Pancakes was a great episode of Review. I like seeing how these things turn. Going to Space was also a priceless adventure. Props for the line about Forrest's soul being empty if not for all the pancakes. I liked the game time but at times had the same problem as everyone else where I could see the actor in my mind but couldn't think of the name. Also, Munch got around.
  2. I was amused that incest was both the winner and loser of the week. I killed at that game but realized I probably read too many memorable TV death lists. This game could easily get brought back though.
  3. After the scenes with her mother and the implications that Rachel's mother has been prescribing the wrong medication for her family, I wonder if some part of Rachel's breakdown was drug related.
  4. I love this. So hilarious. I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on the show. You just left out what I found to be the weirdest Brenda/Brandon interaction. In the you're cute enough conversation, he remembered the exact thing she wore to a party a few months before. Why? (I never want to know the answer to this). I think Brandon freaked out with Marianne because he thought he was hanging out with a fellow outsider but she was one of the richest and most popular people in school? Yet, he did not seemed fazed the rest of the time so who knows.
  5. I remember there was a lot of speculation that Allison would die but seeing it still shocked me. I did not think they would kill off the leading lady when Jackson just left town.
  6. I doubt anything will make you feel worse about lying than having your lie permanently written on someone's body. I feel bad for both of them. Also, Liza never seemed younger to me than when she was creeped out by Lauren's dad. So, Liza's work progress blew up in her face. I like that she and Kelsey apparently took the normal precautions but Diana somehow knew better. It seems more a case of experience (and Diana's drive not to one upped by younger people) rather than stupidity that made this mistake.
  7. I feel like everything that needs to be said mostly has been said. I think Ra's smiled about the branding just because Ollie finally stopped resisting. I thought Ra's sparing Maseo was weird. The fact that Ollie said he was joining to keep his loved ones safe (and Maseo was his friend) coupled with Maseo helping with Ollie's transition makes me think that Ollie is going to have to kill Maseo to complete the transition. Also, when Malcolm said he would make up for everything and Thea said that was impossible, I felt she was completely right! His big defense was "I'm going to stay with you now." Wasn't that what was happening when this season started? He's going to make up for things by just doing what he was doing before he got her to murder a friend, possibly fractured her soul and sent her brother away forever? Even though Thea seems like her old self, I wonder if she will be a killer now or something. For Malcolm to get everything he wanted in the end, there has to be a consequence even if I don't want Ollie's sacrifice to be for nothing. Brother/sister assassin time?
  8. That's from Spoilertv. I kind of noticed in all the scenes where she is with the baby, she put on a big smile when people looked at her. Otherwise she never seems keen on being alone with the baby.
  9. Jeff Branson (Jon Lavery) was on Supernatural last night.
  10. I was so sad about the loss of Christopher Evan Welch. That said, the description of Peter Gregory's death was hilarious.
  11. I loved the game! I did well but even the ones I didn't get, it was fun to retroactively have the clue make (sort of) sense.
  12. I agree. Jimmy ran a scam to get the Kettlemans, then used their money to help fund another scam which led to his hero scam. When Chuck found out, he threw out that thing about elder law that Kim mentioned. I do think Jimmy is a nice guy given his treatment of Kim and Chuck and the elderly. But it doesn't mean he has been completely resisting Slippin' Jimmy all this time. I also think the point ketose brought up is true. Jimmy is a good guy who is a criminal. Chuck is a prick who does good things. The perfect example is how that employee seemed so put upon while serving Chuck but smiled when he saw Jimmy sitting in his car. Jimmy is Mr. Personality. Chuck is the guy who gets his coworkers to do his dirty work for him and stabs his brother in the back. Even after blowing off Marco for years and not even seeing him the last time he was in town, Marco still welcomed Jimmy back with open arms just as he was. Yet after years of scraping to get by and doing everything for his brother, he never won Chuck's approval. He will never win Chuck's approval. Without Jimmy, Marco got sucked into some appropriate job when he was happiest running cons with Jimmy. Jimmy was the one who suggested they start up again. He also missed time with Marco out of loyalty to Chuck who wasn't loyal to him at all. Marco was right about lawyers making a good living. Jimmy could've been making a killing if he wasn't bound to Chuck's code of conduct. It's not like we wasn't apparently committing all kinds of crime before. He owes nothing to Chuck anymore and isn't going to live that way anymore. He still is a good guy, seeing as he checked on Chuck multiple times after what Chuck did. He apologized to Kim. He just isn't going to do things Chuck's way anymore and has to find out what that looks like.
  13. I thought that Backstrom liked the woman bartender because he saw something of himself in her. He knew how to get her to respond. Your thing makes more sense Check Sanity. I was surprised that Backstrom was only considering that Valentine was his son now, given how close they are and how well they get along. Maybe he suspected it before but didn't delve into it until he was sure they liked each other.
  14. I agree whiporee. It was a good sendoff to this show. I liked having the group together and celebrating what they built. It was a nice sendoff to the long running jokes. I also weirdly loved when Bobby screamed at Jules to get out of her house because it was moving. So dumb. So good.
  15. Connie Britton tweeted that she had pneumonia during the concert last year. Plus, there's that famous story that Connie asked if she would be singing would when she signed on and the response was basically, 'do you want to?' The whole cast doesn't go on tour. They don't even all go to interviews with the whole cast. I think the cast attends what they want to, along with a couple of mandatory press events. Back on topic, I haven't really cared about the songs this season but really liked hearing them in the special. The Stellas was the highlight for me. They're such pros! I also liked hearing more about how they listen to a bunch of songs, then assign them to people as it makes sense for the story.
  16. "I'm sorry your son sucks so hard." Ilana. Such a sweetie.
  17. I believe Becca always loved Kevin on some level. I think that's the only way to justify falling into the trap again. Still, I think it is sadder if the real love story of her life is Lolly but their friendship is doomed. Some people have said that Becca comes off as unlikable and I think that might be intentional now. Maybe she is doomed to keep making mistakes.
  18. As someone who loved Hayley Vaughn Santos on "All My Children," seeing Kelly Ripa go bad girl on here was amazing. I can't believe Abbi abandoned her before the Domino's came! Haha. Too bad Ilana found her deal breaker. That was fun.
  19. In regards to the music on Nashville, I was actually interested in this topic when the show first came out. I think they said that T Bone Burnett was friends with a lot of songwriters who were willing to have their music on the show. Several of the songs in the first season were released by bands before getting onto the show. Even songs that were written for the show still got performed by the people who wrote them in their own sets. Then in later seasons they talked about how the actors had started writing/co-writing their own music but I don't know how often their own music was used. And they do tour as everyone said, so they are making money for themselves.
  20. Winston was being such a bro tonight. I loved drunk Cece.
  21. I think they said she joined them at the compound because she saved Jones.
  22. I think the thing that humanizes Petra more than getting along with Jane is that Petra's weakness is apparently coins on the ground. Haha. That moment were Milos threw a coin, followed by acid. (I mean it was horrible, but... hilarious) So, if Magda isn't Sin Rostro, why was she faking being in a wheelchair? So many questions. I loved Sin Rostro being Rose. So, cocky having that as the name. I do wonder how Emilio knew the contractor. Rogelio had a vision board for him and Jane! He is the best. I am so glad she called him dad. They did each other proud. I hope he finds work soon. Maybe he'll end up on another telenovela.
  23. I'm wondering if now that all of Team Arrow is in on the Sara lie, the truth will come out. Like Thea will find the video on Malcolm's phone and turn herself in for the crime and tell Quentin that Laurel said Sara is dead. Then Laurel as Sara will call for another favor/ update with Quentin and he'll learn the whole team was working together to lie to him. Then he'll turn against vigilantes again.
  24. Agreed. I wonder how long their friendship ending secret will remain that way. Season finale maybe? I'm also very intrigued because Lolly suggested that maybe Phoebe and her future husband were destined to be together so it would all work out. Then they immediately met. Like the future is self-correcting despite Becca's actions. Or maybe Phoebe just had a lot in common with her man and that's why they met again. Oh, the possibilities.
  25. I really liked the 1990's throwback. As someone who watched Back to the Future, Early Edition and Being Erica, I am kind of for this. It wasn't amazing but it's got me for a few episodes. I wonder how knowing about the future/ missing technology will continue to affect her. At first I thought Xavier was the one who sent her to the past but maybe he is her soulmate. He is the guy at the same bar as her, the same city and they never met until now she happens to notice him. It's also interesting how much they put on the friendship rather than the romance. We already know her problems with both guys but Lolly is the big mystery fallout that is supposed to catch our interest.
