Yep, TAR needs to up their tasks and challenges. I understand the need to have more control re transporting but that was a big part of how teams could gain or lose standing. I enjoyed watching teams using ingenuity to figure out the fastest way to the next destination - take a later flight because it’s direct, use a route through a different city, etc. I miss individual teams leaving at staggered times. I miss teams being given X dollars to pay cab drivers, etc. Do they even use cabs anymore? I’ve not found any of the teams very compelling but I do like the twin sisters and their backstory. And, please, no more contestants who have been on other competition shows. They all seem to be fame hogs and not interesting IMO.

Ryan Seacrest (boring), Steve Harvey (not as funny as he thinks he is), any of the Kardashian clan (too many reasons to list), John Meyer (jerk who thinks he can sing), Mark Zuckerberg (thief) and any of those guys on the Weather Channel who think they must appear on camera with their shirt sleeves rolled up above their elbows - nope, can’t trick me. I know you are not working any harder than the equally skilled and educated ladies who are always dressed nicely. Plus Jim Cantore is always stylin’ (vest and all) and I have never seen him roll up his sleeves or if he did I’m sure he has nice muscular arms vs. the ones who don’t even have manly hair.. There are more but these are the ones that make me change the channel asap.

I enjoy the 5-10 minutes of Sue vs. the dog guy who harps endlessly about his philosophy of living the subsistence life or the Hailstones (all of them) or the native guy who talks over and over and over about preserving his culture. The kinda couple (Andy and Denise) are at least tolerable if they are doing some interesting activity.

Galveston episode. House #3, if north of Galveston, has to be on Bolivar Peninsula. You have to use the ferry to get from Galveston Island to Bolivar. A great percentage of the houses on Bolivar are new as Hurricane Ike almost wiped Bolivar clean of homes and businesses but most have been rebuilt. My family rents a house there in the fall. It's a quiet community (except maybe on summer weekends), the beach is right there and most people use golf carts to access the beach areas. You don't really need to go to Galveston unless for nice restaurants and other entertainment or medical care, or maybe personal care type tasks. There is a big grocery store on Bolivar and the usual dollar stores, drug stores, fresh seafood markets, burger joints, etc. The first house is on the bay side of Galveston island. It is not the beach! I have been told that mosquitoes are horrible on the bay side with no sea breeze to keep them off of you.

Don't know where else to put this. Is there a forum on the show "Port Protection"? I think it was once named "Life Below Zero:Port Protection " but a search turns up nothing. I love this show.

Nashville: horrible, horrible choice. The house may be newly build but it is butt-ugly outside and not that attractive inside. The power plant next door. Why would anyone want to live in that location? That realtor should be ashamed that she even showed it to them. The house in the suburbs was the best one but the selfish husband was so focused on partying and playing that he didn't care what was best for his wife and child. What a jerk.

I started watching this show last fall. I recorded it a few times and decided I liked the format and the anchors so stuck with it. I blacklisted GMA and the Today show years ago when they got too full of themselves and they presented no news, just fluff stuff. I watched Morning Joe for a while but got tired of Joe going off the rails so often. I actually like Gayle. Yes, she is opinionated but a lot of times I agree with her. I am amused that she is actively searching for a man friend on air. Seems like that topic comes up weekly. And, I like Nate and Tony but wish they would speak up more. I also enjoy the Saturday morning show and anchors. Of course, CBS Sunday Morning is like an old shoe I have worn for many years that still fits and is comfortable.

In so many episodes one of the must haves often mentioned is the ability to walk to coffee shops, etc. I really wonder just how many people really do walk anywhere? Of course, I live in Texas and you don't walk, you drive, so having that as a major point for purchase of a house just seems odd to me.

Loved that realtor. When the couple was bickering and she said "ok we can leave" I thought way to go. That stopped them in their tracks and that is the place they ended up buying.

Was the North Carolina couple the ones who had just "reconnected" after 20 years and got married? They kept mentioning "starting a family" and my thought was they were a little advanced in age to think about having babies.

Three hours of LBZ and not a moment of Sue? I don't really like any of the cast but her. She is not afraid to reveal her shortcomings. The others have become all too "preachy" about how much they love their life, they love their dogs, yada, yada, yada.

I did not know how much stress and anxiety I was experiencing until BidenHarris were elected. I sleep better, seem more energetic and don't obsess and worry about what "the other guy" might do that will ruin the rest of my life. I don't watch as much MSNBC as I did pre-election. I still like Deadline: Whitehouse and Rachel. I also love Ali Velshi. I appreciate that he gets out there and talks to real people who don't have some kind of political agenda. His coverage of the BLM demonstrations in Minnesota and elsewhere were outstanding plus who else would have spent time on an Indian reservation talking with real native Americans and their problems. I liked Joy Reed on Saturdays but not so much since she went to the daily format. I will not watch Chuckie Todd with his little boy haircut-just something about him that rubs me wrong. Let Stephanie Ruhle have his slot. And, I cannot stand Craig Melvin's raspy voice-have to change the channel when he comes on. I agree the weekday programming needs some work.

Do not care for any of the "new generation" folks so don't even record that anymore. I only like Sue on the original show. Never enjoyed Andy nor the Hailstones. The lone guy who is into mushing and sledding never says anything but he's living the life and he loves his dogs so 2-3 weeks of that was enough. The one with the smaller children I can tolerate. Sue's story about having been attacked by a bear was not something I had heard her speak about before. It sounded as if she was lucky to have survived with both hips dislocated and other injuries plus she was not found for ten days. I'm surprised other predators left her alone.

Sorry to say but Good Riddance! I was intrigued at first but soon grew tired of the arrogant attitudes of some of the officers. Primarily I disliked "Sticks" with a red hot passion. Him and his little tight tee shirts and smug expressions. I do enjoy Live Rescue especially since they have Dan Flynn from the New Orleans Nightwatch show as a cast member. I wish they would invite Holly from the same show to join them. There is a new reality show coming soon, Emergency Call, about 911 operators and some of the calls they deal with. MIght be interesting.

I was poking around on the Pluto channels and discovered they had The First 48 seasons all the way back to the beginning. Those early shows in Miami with Detective Joe Schillaci and the way they dealt with suspects was so different from what is done today. They even had my favorite episode, The House On Medrano Street, with the Atlanta crew. That was a really creepy episode. I wish they had shown some of the New Orleans episodes.

Re: the Jimmy Dean commercials, there is one in which he is talking about this item and that item. It's creepy because he died in 2010.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned but I'm too lazy to look for it. I absolutely, positively despise the commercial for the drug, Taltz. It's a drug for psoriasis but there is so much sexual innuendo in the ad that they may as well say it's a drug for erectile dysfunction.

I actually liked Ashleigh as the host. Don't like the new one at all. Just another guy who thinks messy rolled up sleeves are sexy. And, of course, they have to have that Sticks person. His "look at me and my muscles" was the main reason I quit watching Live PD. Why do they put a cop on a show that should be dedicated to Fire Departments and EMTs? I wish Night Watch would come back.

I think Jen has evolved to the point to not sweat the small stuff and just live each day as it comes. Even the new house is more casual and comfortable. I want that white sofa with the tufted back that Jen did her exercise on - so pretty.

I totally agree with your post. IMO, Eddy should have been gone in the first episode when he used most of the shopping money for his recipe and left the others to deal with not having a needed ingredient for their dish. Totally selfish and I don't think anyone called him out on it and he certainly didn't apologize as I recall. Eric leading the cheers and taunting Sara about using a box mix was ugly and uncalled for.

Disappointed that Nini was eliminated. Of course, Tom wants to get rid of as many of the female chefs as possible so no surprise (my opinion). Hope she will be back via LCK. Should have been Justin who is an egotistical jerk, IMO. I'm glad Eddy continues to feel badly about his spending fiasco. He should have gone for that since his action affected the rest of the team's ability to produce the dishes they planned.

Amen and ditto. I'm so tired of the judges fawning over Brandon's designs of loose, boxy, long, awning-type fabric with hanging stings/straps. They don't seem to have any problems saying "see it before" to the others.

Sorry, I immediately thought "why is that model wearing an awning?" when I saw Brandon's dress. When are we going to see the "cheating" episode that was hinted at during the premiere show or was that just a tease?

OK, I noticed that, for the second week, there was no mention of Sue. I went looking for a reason on Dr. Google and learned she has filed a lawsuit against the production company alleging they had forced her to participate in a stunt that resulted in an injury and delayed her rescue in order to get more more footage of the incident and crash. I suppose this was the crash when she was on the snow mobile and was thrown off and broke her collarbone. They must be editing her out of the show. She's the only one I really care to watch so if she is gone, so am I. Odd case. I'm surprised the husband passed a polygraph but he does seem to be a good actor. Didn't I hear during the show that this family had made efforts to get their own reality show? If this was a stunt to get publicity, they took it too far with the branding though it has not been told how she was "branded".
