Morocco: I can understand not wanting elderly mom to have to deal with lots of stairs, but the first place was my favorite. I loved how it wrapped around that central atrium kind of space. And those colorful tiles!

That pimple popper thing might have been slightly amusing (for someone, not me) if, as one of the Sharks suggested, the part one squeezed was molded into a face. Yes, I thought of Spencer Gifts, too.

Costa Rica: Did the agent not know she would be on TV? Seriously, WTF was she thinking when she wore that romper thing? I wish the wife would do something with her hair like introduce it to a brush. During the update she mentioned they had not figured out the internet situation or something like that. If you are going to work remotely, wouldn’t that be the first thing to look into before you move to a foreign country that is not as developed as the US?

They went $10,000 over budget. I would have picked the herringbone design tiles for the backsplash. The cabinet hardware was so tiny it was ridiculous. Otherwise, I thought it was a nice reno. The little dog was so cute curling up on that tile sample! The homeowner with curly hair and dimples was so pretty.

Melbourne: The husband had to have worked for Walmart, but she said she was a teacher. I like that real estate agent. He has been on there before in Oz and has a good sense of humor.

OMG, that is unbelievable! How could stipulations like that even be legal. Sounds like a free speech violation. That case needs to be revisited. I hope her parents are appealing.

Canada to Scotland: Update didn’t mention that they had found jobs. He said he left a job he had worked hard to get to follow her after 2 weeks of dating. WTF. 🙄

I knew about Capgras Syndrome because there is a reading about it on a test I give (teach in an ESL program at a university). The people leaving their baby to die was so heartbreaking. Glad April stayed with her.

Trust me, there are a lot of language mills that will hire native English speakers with little teaching experience (esp. if they are young, good looking and white). China is tightening up on requirements but places like Vietnam are the “new China” for English teachers.

The place they bought was just $10,000 cheaper than the extra $30,000 for all the furnishings place.

I was glad to see the hottie from “Reverie” (a show I really liked). Glad he seems destined to be Helen’s donor so he’ll be there for awhile. I don’t really have much to add otherwise to the great posts about this show’s eff ups. Dr Kapoor and the coffee shop lady storyline is a bright spot. I wish Dr. Bloom would choke on her pills.

I was thinking the same thing about those young architects in Jackson, MS. I know they weren’t a couple, but still...

Seattle to Mexico: The only way I would have retired in my forties is if I had a LOT of money. I wouldn’t want to have to worry that my money would run out. I wonder how much his pension was.

Phoenix to China: The HH moved to China, wanted a western sized apartment and didn’t like noodles or rice? Wow! I was lucky that my job at a university in China included a nice big apartment. The kitchen was small though with no oven. Beds in China are like sleeping directly on a box spring— rock hard. I had to hold it in until I got back to my apartment to use the western toilet. I never could figure out how to use a squat toilet without peeing all over my clothes!

That is ridiculous. Hard to market oat meal as an anytime meal with those hours.

I should hope the boyfriend pays rent. I doubt Lola doesn’t like men. I think she is an old fashioned Filipina granny who doesn’t approve of pre-marital cohabitation.
