She pretty much hosted the RHNY reunion last year.

I think what really hurt the show was the long delay between the end of season 5 and season 6. Season 5 started low in the ratings with the cast shakeup but picked up the 2nd half of the season when the new cast combination finally seemed to gel. And the St. Barts trip episodes are classic! By the time season 6 started airing the long delay had hurt its momentum. I enjoyed that season and was disappointed it didn't get better ratings. If it had, we probably wouldn't have seen Bethenny's return and it would be a very different show.

LVP's apology to Faye Resnick as she was leaving Kyle's makes me wonder if Faye is being penciled in as a potential housewife next year. Maybe that was Lisa's way of letting the producers know she would be alright with Faye coming aboard. Obviously she wants Rinna out, but I can't see the producers being unhappy with her as she brought all the drama this year. I think they could go either way next year with Eileen. She gets along with most of the girls and only had the major feud with LVP. However, shes pricey and I don't know that her presence is really that valuable to the show. If Yolanda returns, I'm sure Erika will as well. Really don't see Kathryn as being a lock for next year though, unless they can't find a more interesting replacement.

Man, I really missed Heather. I waited nearly a week to watch this episode, where last season I tuned in on premier night. Really not crazy about any of these girls now. I guess Carole is the most likeable by default, but she's not that entertaining. However, I may warm to her if she doesn't end up sucking up to B as much as had been expected. Ramona's wackiness makes for good reality TV, so I guess I'm staying on the train to see what she, Lu and Sonja get up to. Beth is obnoxious and has completely taken over this show, but I actually find Dorinda to be the most awful. Jules made no impression on me whatsoever.

And by now she's probably aware that Kathryn is also not very popular with viewers. The only thing she really brings to the show is scenes of her hot husband. Since LVP currently has Kyle in her corner, she's probably just keeping Kathryn close as a minion to be on her side for the reunion. LVP, KYLE and Kathryn are hardly the new dream team. I find it very unlikely that Bravo will bring Kathryn back next year. Erika has really gotten all the attention as the newbie and will probably be back. Kathryn's going to be in the Carlton, Joyce, Cindy Barshop pile of HW's cast off after 1 try.

Was a little bit on the fence about watching anymore with Heather gone, but this actually looks pretty good. Wasn't expecting it to be starting up again so soon, but it gives me a good excuse to pass on RH of Dallas. ATL & BH should be over or winding down by the time this starts. I hate how the 3 i follow always seem to overlap.

Noticed they updated her tag line to something about players and games, which fits her as football wife. Her original line, revealed prior to the season beginning was supposed to be something lame about always be sure to carry a handbag.

I've been thinking the same thing! The school-marmish outfits and the bad makeup they've been using for her make me wonder if Sasha did something to piss of the producers. They are really making her look awful this season.

Isn't Kathryn supposed to debut in the 6th episode? They haven't put her in the promos.

Viola Davis must be stuck doing this crap since her show is also on ABC. Hope that don't have Raven involved in the interview.

Was watching Pitch Perfect 2 on dvd last night and there is a quick View cameo towards the beginning of the film featuring Rosie O, Rosie P and Nicole Wallace reacting to the wardrobe malfunction of the Rebel Wilson character. I was struck by 2 things: 1. How quickly outdated this appearance became with all of these ladies no longer co-hosts. Actually even at the time of its release back in May, it would have been outdated with Nicole being the last one standing at that point. 2. I wonder why Whoopi didn't appear. Was it a money thing? Was she holding out for an extended role, or did she just not want to share screen time with Rosie O. With her love for musical entertainment, I'm sure Rosie O was easy to get on board for this and Nicole probably was just thrilled at the chance to appear in a movie.

Sheree is not in the new cast photo Bravo has released, so looks like she will be coming back as a friend this season. Guess the Girls gonna have to work to win her peach back!

Yep, she may as well have just hosted that special. Just like on the reunion she seemed to have more control than Andy. I don't understand why he is giving her so much power! Despite what he and B are trying to get viewers to believe, her return really did not set the ratings on fire. They really need to bring on a new lady that is not afraid to challenge her or next season is going to be a snooze.

Was not at all thrilled to see Dorinda's irritating daughter (who NEVER watches the show) again. And did they say where she was off to in her leopard print hat? It certainly wasn't school or a job, we know that much. I was actually surprised she didn't try to stay and weasel her way into filming the group scene with the other ladies.

This is just sad. Kristin was almost certainly going to be dropped from the show before this scandal, but now Bravo will probably try to get her back. What a horrible reason to be asked back to the show!

I totally agree. The socialite mentioned in the article seems like she might be fun to snark on, but I really need them to cast one new sane and intelligent HW to root for. Heather will have some tough m-fucking shoes to fill!

She's such a shrew. I felt Carole's moments were actually touching during the London trip, but really wished Heather had gone with her instead since she's a genuine friend. Dorinda may have some common ground with Carole, as a fellow widow but I felt she was playing up the sympathy more for positive screen time. Also, she came off very pretentious when talking about her former life in England. It was rather countess-like. I found her boring at the start of the season, but have really come to dislike her. If she's getting celebrity-fans now, I'm guessing she'll definitely be back next season. At this point, I would prefer they kept Kristin.

Just started watching the new season last night. I loved Malaysia laughing when the Fupa issue was brought up to the full group. This season seems like it may be decent. I watched the first 2 seasons faithfully, but quickly lost interest in season 3 and stopped watching. The new girls S3 didn't impress me and I missed Laura. This cast with a mix of the originals, sister city stars and just a couple newbies seems promising.

YES- she would have been much better than Cindy. I would love to see how Heather would have dealt with Jill Zarin.

Was upset to hear the news this morning, but her leaving is really Bravos loss. I need at least one person to root for on these shows and Heather was that girl for me from mid season 5 on. I enjoyed that she stood up to the original girls, cut through the bull shit and seemed like a genuinely good friend and individual. She was the only truly sane one left on the show at this point. I'm disappointed that Bravos focus on her this season was predominantly negative. I believe she was not willing to compromise her self any further to retain her apple and I can respect that.

Anyone know how close we are to the Reunion? I'm thinking the season finale will be on the 21st, since we've seen nearly everything in the season preview.

I'm totally getting this vibe from her too, especially with all her crazy tweeting. Will she have her notes ready at the the reunion to back her shit up? Wonder if she will hire a PR coach as Jill supposedly did (to no avail) for the season 3 reunion. Speaking of the reunion. Several questionable Blogs are reporting unverified claims that Kyle will also be let go, but I can't see that happening. Especially if she did the Upfronts. Kathy Hilton and Denise Richards would be wonderful replacements for Kim and Brandi.

True. In Andy's last book he mentions that Bethenny came in for a meeting with him to pitch, Bethenny Starting Over. He did not go for this idea though and instead brought up the idea of her returning to the housewives. Yet, with all the focus on Bethenny and her issues this season we are getting tons of scenes that could easily have been footage for her spinoff idea.
